Love this program! Last year, my daughter was struggling through third grade math. Which meant that I, myself, was struggling through her math pains. Homework would take hours. I found that I had to teach the math over again when she got home from school because she did not understand the various concepts (thank goodness for youtube math vids!)My husband and I spoke with several Learning Centers and finally chose to enroll her in Kumon- Mukilteo. I am so thankful that we did. She attends Kumon every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-5pm. Initially, I was hesitant about committing to taking her to a specific time every week. But the Program Managers, Ivan and Gwen are very flexible. You simply fill out a form for vacations or requests for changing your schedule times. Kumon offers Math and Reading. They recommend enrolling children in both. However, at the time, our 8 year old daughter was reading at a 6th grade level and we did not find it necessary to enroll her in anything but Math.Everyday, my daughter has about 10 minutes of Kumon homework. Regardless of how old you are, you need to start off with the basics. The older kids often get frustrated with this because they think the work is too easy. But Kumon wants to ensure that you have the BASICS down before they add more difficult work. Kumon believes that if you have the fundamentals down, the rest of math will be learned much easier.This year, my daughter is kicking butt in school. The Kumon work is putting her well in advance to her 4th grade work. At school, she is currently learning how to multiply in multiple digits. Our daughter has already learned this at Kumon and is currently working on long division. Recently, Kumon Manager, Gwen has informed us that our daughter has a chance for making Kumons 2018 Honor Roll! Yay! Thank you, Kumon!

They gave my daughter a chewed pencil. My daughter was overwhelmed by the homework. She was always exusted and look miserable. It was a mistake to bring her here
