This is a wonderful martial art school! The instructors are absolutely fantastic! Our entire family is enrolled here. The dojang is clean and everyone is so helpful and polite! The students are all wonderful as well! It has a very family oriented feel. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about trying out martial arts to come out and give this school a try!!!! You wont regret it!

What a wonderful martial arts school. Every single instructor is extraordinary not only due to their knowledge and skills, but also in terms of their personality. Humble, honest, respectful, great communicators, and grateful for their students’ efforts to learn, contribute and participate in class. In addition, they are appreciative, and they give back, recognizing and respecting equally all their students (adults and kids). Everyone in my family is very excited and happy to be a student there!

A warm, supportive learning environment. Not at all intimidating. (Really!) I had zero athletic interest or background when I started here. Now I’m physically stronger, I have much less stress, and I get to practice a martial art with my daughters. It’s making us all more self-assured and confident.

My son and I are beyond happy that we were fortunate enough to have found AJ-HI. The minute you walk in the door you’re able to feel the extremely welcoming atmosphere and the instructors are phenomenal with the kids! We have just begun our journey with this amazing school and I can already see many improvements in my sons confidence and focus. I’m very excited to see what benefits we will earn in the future.

I’m 68 years old and have been in this school for one year. It has been challenging and rewarding, our instructors are the best and work with you according to your physical capabilities. I highly recommend our school to everyone who desires to learn self defense and live more confidently.

I really cant say enough positive things about this school. Its more than a school to me. Its become more like a family than I would have ever imagined. The skills and philosophy taught here are second to none. And it doesnt matter if you are 5 or 75. There is an entire world waiting to be discovered at this school .

I love my Dojang! My instructor is the best I’ve ever seen. He is so good with everyone but especially the kids. In fact, all of these instructors care and really want you to succeed. It truly is a Hapkido family. Their skills are so impressive that you watch them and your jaw is dropping the whole time! They are always so encouraging and positive. This is my happy place.

The best friendly and inviting atmosphere! The stress relief and the hapkido family are the main reasons I go. Learning is the main focus and clarification is always a question away.

This is a great environment. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Not only are they great with teaching hapkido; they teach life skills as well. When you join American judo hapkido institute you become part of a family. I would recommend it for anyone.

My Daughter has been one of the first few students at this Morgantown center for Hapkido. It has certainly had positive influence in more than one ways on her behavior, attitude and ability to stand up for herself. She gets a sense of belonging here. A work in progress, she does wear her blue belt proudly and wishes to continue this for as long as possible. It has been a great addition to the Morgantown community over the last couple of years
