When the page of a magazine mysteriously opened to a picture of a woman conducting a ceremony with the headline “Become a Life-Cycle Celebrant”, I felt the toxicity of the corporate world I was part of start to melt away. I knew this is what I was to do.Thanks to the stellar material taught and mentored by the wonderful teachers in my Fundamentals and Funeral classes, I went on to also study and become certified in Weddings and Ceremonies Across the Life-Cycle. Since graduating in 2015 I’ve had the honour of writing and performing countless ceremonies guiding people across many of life’s thresholds. Thanks to a fortuitous ad from the Celebration Foundation and Institute, this is my 7th year of doing what I love, and loving what I do.

I studied with CF&I and completed my Funerals and End of Life Ceremonies in 2011. It was so worthwhile I returned and did my Weddings certificate in 2013. If you want an extremely well prepared officiant for any of lifes important moments make sure you contact a Life-Cycle Celebrant from CF&I. If you want to become a celebrant there is nowhere else that you will get such excellent, in depth training and inherit a host of colleagues who will encourage, support and cheer you on.

All. The. Time. But, I must admit, after almost ten years in practice, emails like this never get old. And, from what I hear, my colleagues get messages like this all the time too.The thing is, I don’t take credit for this. 10 years ago I was really hitting a low point in my professional life. As a well paid Consultant, I felt very little satisfaction in the results of many hours of hard work. I turned to the Celebrant Foundation to get trained as a Wedding Celebrant, I thought it would be a nice weekend escape from my day job. I had no idea I would fall in love with being a Celebrant or that my training would be so excellent that I would end up quitting my job to be a full time Wedding and Funeral Officiant. This was the best money I have ever spent and it changed my life.

When I first became aware of Celebrancy as a possible encore career, I found a local graduate of CF&I to interview. She couldnt have been more effusive in her recommendation of the program.
