More than just a casting agency, Joseph Skow Casting holds workshops and training classes to help you be the best actor you can be. For instance, I recently attended a 3-hr. workshop instructing us on how to send in acceptable self-taped audition videos. The industry is heading more and more in that direction, so I wanted my self-taped auditions to stand out from the rest. I feel very well equipped towards that goal after his class.I learned so much in that three hours, and for the $50 registration fee, I more than made up for it in the knowledge my videos are going to hit the mark. We learned how to set up our iPhones on a tripod, which mic to purchase, the background to use to best enhance ourselves, all the hows and wherefores of 3-pt. lighting, and finally how to edit our videos.
