Why is all yall bashin this school i have been to this school for 6 years and i have had no problems here i even met my best friend here i love this school period am i missing something

This school is awful my child attended there k4- 2nd grade and it totally ruined him with the constant bullying. He was ahead of all the students the curriculum is awful if your child is in that school they will not be successful in the near future. But if you child is an over achiever and is amazing in class and has high test scores, send them to Gold Meir School for the gifted and talented. It starts at 3rd grade and goes up to 12th

This school is ok but i will rate this school a 5 because this school was my favorite out of all of the schools i have been to sents i was in the k4 so yeah i love this school u was going here in the 4th grade and is am coming back for that 6th grade and yeah.

I was there for eight years the only thing that was good about that school was my teachers I would name some of them but Im not going because I dont trust the school but.. couple weeks before school ended my 8th grade year I got suspended for not shaking a hand but all I got to say is I hate this school and everything about it expect some of my teachers

The school was cool a couple of problems happend there other wise that school was cool

Terrible staff and administrators they allowed a person not listed on my daughters contact list to visit my daughters class and leave with her without contacting me as her parent. I am so pissed with this school the kids run down the hallway cursing and yelling the staff does NOTHING. I would rate THIS school a zero

Id give the school a 0 if I could. The school was terrible. The principal, Mrs. Hawkins is unprofessional in both her appearance and mannerisms and unconcerned about her pupils safety..I enrolled my nephew and he was not to take the school bus to school or home. He was to wait for me after class was over. I go to pick him up after school and he was NOT THERE!!! wtf!! s. I had no idea where he was. I called the police. Other parents claimed incidents like this has happened before. The lack of organization and professionalism by staff made it clear that my nephews safety was at risk, and I removed him from the school immediately. My nephew is in 2nd grade. He has a.d.h.d. and is treated for that. He was placed with other kids like him, and none of the kids were receiving the special attention they needed. The teacher was very overwhelmed. The principal blamed the teacher for her incompetence, but the teacher was NOT a 2nd grade teacher, so she had no experience teaching kids at that age. I blame the principal for hiring her to begin with. Safety issues are a huge problem here, as well as poor management of staff, and an incompetent principal. The school was set in an urban area, and catered to the type of ppl who arent as concerned about a quality education. It was untidy, loud, the students are very aggressive and disruptive, due to the very large class sizes. 500 students in a building designed to accommodate elementary school aged kids under the age of 10 or 11. This is the type of school that gives MPS a bad rep. If you love your kids and want them to get a decent education in a safe environment...PLEASE, PLEASE..DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! You will regret it. Your kids will not do well here.

My son has been enrolled at this school since k5, he is now in the 1st grade and keeping him there for as long as I did was a terrible decision. He didnt LEARN anything within the three years he attended, except picking up terrible behaviors from out of control children who are not being taking care.A Lot of his teachers just up and quit and just didnt show up for work, the school never informed me of this. The school has middle school students mixed with the elementary students and the older kids are roaming the halls every time I visit. If you care about your childs future do not enroll your child here

I am a carver scholar that been at this school for more then 6 years carver has its ups and downs but overall carver academy is a awesome school where your kid or kid(s) should go!!!!!❤❤❤❤
