Oh yes but now its a completely wonderful place and everyone in the neighborhood loves it and swears by it..., according to my bff who actually attended this school in the 80s. This was a time of coming of age and this charming day care served as a hub of activity in the neighborhood even back then. My bff continues, its come a long way since being the subject of slanderous lawsuits accusing it of subjecting some of its children to satanic ritualistic abuse further spread by the lies of WWL-TV reporter Bill Elder (not even worth the watch on youtube). To which I replied, looks like a charming place and if I actually lived here you know Id live by you and would be more than happy to send my babies here. New Owners, new attitude. Water under the bridge. For me the best part is its proximity to Grace King High School, home of my favorite local celeb, Ellen Degeneres (see my other review!)

Amazing school! Teachers are great, EVRYTHING is on point, they have many activities outside the norm and your child would have advantage when going to school.There is nice diversity there as well.Now before you too excited, they have a large waiting list and of course the best things in life aren’t cheap:)

Our daughter has attended Carousel Preschool from 8 weeks old and will leave this fall to attend a local advanced academy. We have been beyond pleased with the education she has received while at this school. At just over 4 years old, she can write her name, count to 20, knows all of her letters and sounds, and recognizes some words. Besides academics, her teachers have always been very attentive and nurturing. They took great care of her through some serious medical issues. Never have I had to worry about her safety or well-being while I was at work. I would highly recommend Carousel Preschool for any child.

I love this school for my daughter she has learned so much and is very eager to learn I thought she would be wanting to stay with me but she jumped right out of the car and ran to the doors even with covid going on they make me and my daughter feel safe please please please enroll your child u won’t regret it it’s worth every dime and you can pay through child care just call and ask them how 💜

This place is amazing! I am continually surprised by the staff. They provide a level of care that is directed toward my child. I especially love how they have cameras in each classroom. This is a comfort as a parent because I know they are monitoring my child (and the teachers) and they can investigate should any incident ever occur.The people that work as administrators are fabulous. They go out of their way to accommodate every request I have. They even called me after hours to discuss my individual requests for my child. I certainly was not expecting that level of commitment because I know that they did not HAVE to change anything for me, but they did.The owner is great and is a wealth of knowledge. He has owned Childrens Carousel for over 20 years.Childrens Carousel was highly recommended by several local companies as well as several parents.My child and future children will go here until they graduate.

I absolutely LOVE Carousel Preschool! As a former parent of a child who attended, I always felt at ease knowing my child was safe and being well taken care of. Her teachers were amazing and she still talks about her time there! This is a wonderful school who not only listens to parents’ concerns but also takes pride in the education they are providing. ❤️

My little boy has been attending Childrens Carousel since he was 18 months, for almost two years now, and I have only good things to say about this daycare. Kids enjoy a lot of structured activities every day, but also have enough time to spend outside and play. They learn something every day, from letters and shapes to songs, and are encouraged to be independent. All the teachers my boy had/has are very caring. Another thing I really like is that they provide nutrition, which saves us a lot of time in the morning. I highly recommend Childrens Carousel as a place where your kid will be safe and happy.

The Infant Room took wonderful care of my sweet boy from 7 weeks through one year. Very comforting as a working mom to have my baby in their care. Definitely recommend it.

We enrolled our kid at this school in 2015. I was terrified at the idea of sending my child to daycare, after three years of being a stay at home parent. After an extensive search and many visits to child care facilities in Metairie, we decided on Childrens Carousel. Now, we are beyond satisfied! Although my son couldnt speak English at the time he started, the friendly approach of teachers and directors made him adjust to school easily. He adores Mrs. Kandace and Ms. Katie. Thank you Childrens Carousel, youre all amazing!

The best day care you can imaging: best teachers and staff, amazing installations, healthy meals and very carefully activity program. Our baby attend every day very happy and she is learning a lot of. We are so thankful to Carousel Learning Center!

My daughter is in the Pre-K 2 Program and it is amazing! We moved from a center in Chalmette and made the commute everyday due to the excellent care they provided for her. She is learning so much and growing in every area of development. Whether its her cognitive skills or fine/gross motor, Carousel Preschool makes sure all of her individual needs are met. We are looking forward to the years to come, and are saddened that she will eventually have to leave for kindergarten. I have no doubt she will be more than prepared after her time spent at Carousel. This school is simply amazing in every way!!

I love the staff at Childrens Carousel they make you feel so welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Were going to be so sad when my daughter has to leave for Kindergarten as she has grown and learnt so much since she has been there. Great School!!!

My son enjoyed school so much. He is really learning and also has so much fun. He doesnt want to leave when I pick him up n the afternoon.
