Ultimate Tango School has created a great community for dancers. Classy Heels is my favorite online class! Each class goes over steps to gain balance and strength. The music is inspiring and by the end of a few weeks I am gliding through complicated moves. So satisfying!! The teachers are a blast to learn from. They have extensive knowledge the music, the rhythms, and the history of tango. I recommend this school to everyone!

Hernan and Anita show phenomenal attention to details and a commitment to teaching. Im a long-time student who has studied with them in person and I was initially concerned about the relative success of the zoom classes, but it turns out that H&A can see everything just about as well by zoom as in person, and learning doesnt have to stop for something as small as a pandemic! Great for all levels.

The virtual Short Sequences class allows us to keep learning and dancing before we can meet again in person. Also, we are able to learn and connect with other Tango students. Hernan and Anita are very attentive to each student and provide recommendations to meet individual’s need. The Tuesday Short Sequences class has become our routine social activity, entertainment and exercise. It helps to keep us healthy for both the body and the mind.

We highly recommend Ultimate Tango. Weve been taking classes with them for several years. When Covid struck, we thought wed have to stop, but we gave their Zoom classes a chance and have been very pleased with how much weve learned. Ultimate Tango is the little Buenos Aires in Boston. The studio now provide both private and group online classes, which have high quality. It’s the best dancing choice for you during Pandemic. Anita and Hernan are professional Argentine tango Teachers and Performers. They have their own style in Argentine Tango, very elegant and passionate with good restraints. The teacher are nice people and they will make sure every student catch the class pace. I tried several tango places in Boston and this place is my favorite.

Learning Argentine Tango dancing with Anita and Hernan has been a wonderful experience and we continue to improve with every lesson. Maritza and I have been taking the Zoom group lessons for beginners, all of the short sequence lessons, and the exercises with Hernan. We have found these classes to enormously helpful since you have both pre-recorded lessons prior to the class and then personal attention during the live Zoom class based on what you have learned. Having access to all of the videos anytime you want allows you to study further in more detail. All classes are designed to complement each other. For example, the exercise classes by both Hernan and Classy Heels with Anita are designed around and support the dance movements you will need to dance Tango. Anita and Hernan are amazing teachers and have expert knowledge of all facets of Argentine Tango and all of the roadblocks you will likely encounter as a student.

A home away from home. If you are starting out multiple beginner classes are offered during the week and continuing student classes are mainly on Sunday. Ultimate Tangos class structure is broken out into various elements to easily understand and implement but most of all they focus on creating a community.

Hernan and Anita are wonderful, wonderful tango teachers. Their students range from absolute beginners to seasoned local star dancers, some of them are teachers themselves. Hernan and Anita are friendly, and funny, they are true students of human movement and tango technique, and they passionately impart their knowledge, and their skill onto each of students, no one is left without an advice and personal attention at every group lesson. Tango is an amazing dance, and a beautiful journey that is enjoyable from the first day. Hernan and Anita are always there to guide you, to make a confident, caring, musical and inventive dance partner. That Hernan and Anita teach tango here is truly a gift the Boston area community. After several years studying with them I feel like they are family.Beside classes, Hernan and Anita organize a weekly social dance party, Milonga Ideal. It is a warm laid back event that welcomes dancers of every level. with cozy tables, friends chatting to each other, great floor, subdued lighting and inspiring guest DJs. Hernan and Anita take care to dance with many, many guests, and not just their students. Tango regulars know that this is rarity at any studio.In only a couple of months this milonga has attracted a number of wonderful and generous dancers, both followers and leaders. For me its home base, a party to which I come to dance, and to be with my people.
