Getting my pilot license has always been a dream of mine, but through the years with career, family, and raising children I never found the time to get it done. Now at 60 years old, I finally took the time to practice for my license. Recently I met HL owner and flight instructor of AZ ultralight flight school. After an introductory flight and more detailed information I was hooked. HL has a lot of patience, anda very professional and easy going approach on teaching how to fly. Recently I had my first solo flight and I am well on my way to get my license in a few weeks. It has been an accelerating, full filling experience to say the least. And I am so glad I finally did it. I highly recommended HL and AZ ultralight flight school as an instructor.

Excellent flight instruction

My wife surprised me for my birthday with a visit to Arizona Ultralight to take a flight and learn a little more about Light Sporting Aircraft.H.L. Cooper took me up in an Aerotrek A240 LSA for an hour flight. The views of the desert, CAP project, glider port, and Silverbell Mine were amazing! On top of the views his knowledge of the area and its history was fascinating!All in all a fantastic experience and one that I will not soon forget. Highly recommend Arizona Ultralight to anyone looking to learn a little more about the area, Light Sport Aircraft, or just and adventure!

Im a licensed private pilot with Glider and SEL ratings for over 30 years.Ive had 5 different experimental light sport aircraft based at Arizona Ultralight Aviation over the past 25 years.The airpark is very well maintained and a top notched desert facility.The owner, H.L.Cooper, is the best natural light aircraft pilot I have ever known. His instructing techniques and flying skills are 1st class along with his aircraft maintenance and repair abilities.Unlike some other flight schools, Cooper keeps the atmosphere at the airpark welcoming, friendly and fun for all new students and old timers alike.I highly recommend Arizona Ultralight Aviation to anyone looking for excellent light sport flight training, experimental aircraft repair and maintenance or just a really fun introductory flight in a light airplane.

My first visit to Arizona Ultralight Aviation was nearly 15 years ago. To this day, I still travel over an hour to the airpark, and I go out there on a regular basis. The owner, H.L. Cooper, puts safety very high on his list of priorities, whether he is training new pilots, taking visitors on a scenic ride, and also with the maintenance and repair of aircrafts.H.L. makes the airpark friendly and fun.
