When my son attended this school last year (before COVID), he had awesome 6th grade teachers (Mr. Stubler and Ms. Broskey) & an assistant teacher (Ms. H). Not only these teachers were easy going but also they were inspiring & motivating him. I am glad that they were his teachers.

Ive been bullied infront of four teachers they didnt do anything and just looked at me served us horrible good Ive seen people fighting infront of a administration they didnt do anything horrible

To be honest this was a good school but I had a bad experience once in 5th grade. Now I’m in senior year. One time I needed to use the restroom so I nicely ask my teacher if I could use the restroom. Which she responded with a “no”. A few minutes later I asked her again if i could go which she also said “no” again. I couldn’t hold it so I pooped myself. I don’t think nobody notice and I didn’t tell anyone. I just think teachers should not deny permission for students to go to the restroom. She was Ms. Etherington.

I like this place it isnt smelly at all the food isnt that good but there is good stuff. Most of the teachers are nice and its pretty clean.

The foods alright, Lunch ladies are nice, My 6th grade teacher was chill, Not many things happened there except like 3 or 2 fights and me suffering from bullying :) At least telling the consoler actually helped for one school.

I love this school but when you go to the nurse she says what’s wrong and then you tell her why you came and she says well what do you want me to do about it? So I just call my parents from my class (love you mrs.metcalfe)

Mayfield is a great school but the teachers dont pay attention to any of the student thoughts. I had a stomach ach and they thought I was faking.They dont do anything about teasing and bullying.But there is a variety of music choices that you can choose from

Mayfield was like one of those carnival rides you used to love as a kid but whenever you pass it again you just wonder, “what was so great about that sticky cartoon car?” education-wise it was fine, teachers come and go so maybe my experience was out of season but i didn’t have any issues. this was back when i was an eager preteen ready to dye my hair blue, engage in risky behaviors, and begin my life. the building wasn’t in the best shape, the choir room had leaks, an ant infestation (we brought mason jars and made makeshift ant farms, no joke!) my class and i were too young and naive to really have issues with the school. looking back it wasn’t all the great, but it’s a genuine experience, the nolstagia is still with me. there were mean teachers, bullies, leaks, but that’s all in the package, wouldn’t be the same without all the ugly! it’s a good and horrible memory but i never regret it.

I love mayfield so much because they help encourage us to learn and they help us where help is needed. They also have many fun events that we can perticipate in. Last but not least Lucky WhiteHead from the dallas cowboys went here.

Mayfeild Intermediate School in the City of Manassas, Virginia falsely accused me of parental kidnapping while trying to take my daughter to a medical appointment. Mayfeild Intermediate School also made Islamicphobic comments concerning the Prophet Muhammad Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him. Mayfeild Intermediate School also made Racist Comments concerning my daughters African skin shade, hair texture, and her socio-economic status. They made false reports to a court appointed who called my Ex-husband who has a documented history of domestic violence to me, temporarily awarded custody to him, and evicted from the school property. I recommend placing your child in your own ethnic or religious academy in order to avoid being defamed, family/parental Alienation, and discrimination based off of any Religion you are. This can happen to anyone.

This school has huge bullying problems, and many of the staff members are insensitive to childrens needs or home situations. Very happy to be done with this school
