Whether you’re on your first day or your last day, expect to operate a vehicle for about ten minutes a day. Instructor does not do pre trip with you. You have to teach yourself with the papers. Expect lunch to be vocalized at 1 hour and have him show up 45 minutes later. Him and his wife who run the company will maintain accusatory behavior to maintain a frame of absolved responsibility. 3500 dollars. Do not go here. Stay away. No refunds!

Being a student at Marshall CDL Driving school was one of the best decisions I ever made and let alone a great investment. I can’t thank my Chief instructor enough for motivating me to strive for my goal to get into the trucking industry and Denorah for making this happen. As an attendee of the Marshall CDL Driving School I must say that I had an extraordinary experience. Instructor Aaron was very professional, treating every student with the utmost integrity and encouraged excellence. During the class we were provided with course material that provided all the essential information needed to understand the Pre-Trip inspections, Critical parts of a Tractor and Trailer as well as the key components to becoming a safe professional CDL Driver. Aaron was very helpful and patient when explaining as well as when demonstrating the methodologies to safely maneuver a combination commercial vehicle.The administrative staff also provided a professional though family oriented experience, following up with reminder calls, keeping the students informed in the event of a possible Covid exposure, school closings, directions, etc.I loved the experience I had at Marshall CDL Driving School and will be recommending this school to everyone I know interested in receiving a personable training experience.

If I could rate this school 1 million stars, I would rate it 1 billion stars. Five stars are too small. This school helped me from the very beginning to the very end and at every point in between! If you cannot schedule the Permit test at the DMV due to DMV delays due to the COVID pandemic? Denorah to the rescue. Have any issues at the DMV? Again, Denorah to the rescue! Have never seen the inside of a truck or driven a stick? Aaron to the rescue!! Have any issues with maneuvering the truck? Again, Aaron to the rescue. He takes time to explain the fundamentals of operating a truck, even using toys! This school will take you from wherever you are, to passing your CDL road test and beyond!I had ZERO experience with a truck. Never entered one before. Ever. Marshall CDL Driving Schools registered me for the permit test, worked with me through the issues at the DMV, accommodated my schedule, was patient with me with my million mistakes and questions, and took me from complete novice to passing the CDL Road test on my first try!! This is not only an achievement for me, but a testament to how great the school is! And that’s not the end! This school means it when they say they provide job placement. I know. Great CDL driving school. Went for my class A license. Outstanding and detailed driving instruction. The instructor was professional and helpful throughout the learning experience. Would recommend this school to anyone wanting to enter the trucking business.

I really enjoyed my experience at this school. This is a family owned company and they definitely make you feel like family. English is my second language and it was not a problem for them. They helped me a lot and had problem making sure I understood everything. If you are looking into getting your CDL look into getting it at this school. I highly recommend them.

Let me share my experience with Marshall CDL School. The instructor and front desk personnel are married. I spoke to his wife about the program for a class A License. She explained that the course was Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm with 1 hr break at 12noon. She explains if I didn’t make it to school by 8:10am that they lock the doors and I could not attend class that day. The class A was 4weeks at a cost of 3500. This information was told to me on June 6th the day I signed my contract. Now before I signed my contract she mentioned to me that they were close and not open till July. My response was I had the money right now and could not wait till July. I would attend a different school. She respond and said don’t worry I can fit you in the next following week.This is what I got out of Marshall CDL School. My orientation was 1 hr long and I was the only student there which was fine. The next day the instructor took me out to test my shifting as I told him I never drove a stick shift before. My class was from 8-11am. He explained to me that since I don’t know how to drive a stick I should consider getting a class B license it’s only 6 gears. Me being new to this it made since and consider getting a class B. The class b was $2850 for 2 weeks. I was in school from 8:30am-11am for 2 weeks. Now if your new to this before you take your test you have to know pre-trip/Straightback/Offset/parallel/on the road driving. They expect me to learn all of this from 8:30am-11am and test after 2 weeks. Then had the nerve to ask for more money when it comes to training before I take the test. There is so much more I can write but this would be to long. Please be very careful if your new to the industry and looking for your CDL school to start a new career. Marshall was a total rip off.

Great School, excellent Customer service they have assisted with all my questions during Covid they’ve been extra supportive and understanding the need for me to finish my class on time i can’t thank the office enough it has been a journey but I couldn’t do it without them for all the other ones that don’t take the time and effort to really do and listen to what the instructor says it’s simple instructions thanks to my new career i’m excited . I didn’t know anything about driving trucks except that it paid good so I contacted a couple schools and Marshall’s was the only school that took time to meet with me and enlighten me on the trucking industry. I was at a low point in my life trying to find a new direction. My fear was driving the trucks and not being able to handle it. They took the time to motivate me and told me I can do anything I put my mind to. They told me they will make sure they assist me in getting my CDL CLASS A as long as I give my 100% in studying and listening to what was being told. I took the challenge and i can honestly say I seen different people come and take this class for granted and think it’s easy to pass while being lazy and crying about everything...it is NOT EASY! It takes effort, dedication and a lot of studying. This isn’t for the weak...only the strong survive AND I PASSED! I just got my CDL class A through this amazing school. Their way of training is very intensive and their instructors are well experienced . They gave me all the full attention and one on one personal training to pass my test. My advise to anyone who want class A or B to call on them, forget about all these big names schools who brag just to take your money or put you into any one year tuition contract and get you stacked. My experience with Marshall CDL school was everything I expected and more. The instructor and staff were professional and helpful for all my needs. I was able to upgrade from a class B to class A and I am already on my way to starting a new job driving tractor trailers. One week after passing my test, I received the call I was waiting for. Marshall is a great place to get a CDL. The rates are good, and they work with you if needed. Syed is an excellent instructor, he could teach anybody how to drive a truck. I would definitely recommend this place.

My son finished his CDL training with Marshalls. He enrolled in the one on one training, which he needed as he doesnt do well in a group setting. This worked well for him and he passed on his 2nd try. They are the only school I could find with one on one training. Thanks to his instructor for great training.

This School is absolutely amazing!! WORTH EVERY PENNY. I recently took the A CLASS program and i must admit i was terrified being i never had driven a truck or manual transmission before!! Aaron is a fabulous instructor!! He took his time and was very patient with me teaching to my learning pace making sure i understood each thing before moving to the next!! IT WAS A VERY PERSONALIZED ONE ON ONE TRAINING even tho i was part of a class of 9. I noticed he done the same thing with each of my classmates being some were more advanced than others but each student got the attention needed with no complaints!! FAST FORWARD im now a CLASS A CDL holder working with my first over the road company which THE MARSHALL CDL DRIVING SCHOOL assisted in job placement!THANK YOU MARSHALL CDL SCHOOL!! This School is the worst School ever in virginia. They have only 1 truck and one Instructor who doesn’t have any knowledge about truck driving and being an Instructor. They tell you that they will do 160 hours training with you within 4 weeks for a CDL-A class, but they don’t do 160 hours training with you. They may do only 60 hours. The rest will be spent on breaks from 11:30am to 2:00pm and smoking. Cigars. In the morning they ask you to come at 8:00am but when you are at school you have to wait until 8:30am to 8:45am for the Instructor to come or somebody else to open the door. Regular price for CDL-A class is $2,500 - $3,000, but they charge the students $4,000 - $5,000 Zero knowledge, zero experience, zero behavior and plus they cheat and lie to you a lot.

Great school! Came into the school and I couldn’t drive stick, or back the truck but my awesome instructor Aaron was patient with me and helped get me to where I needed to be. Dinora In the office is awesome as well! Shes sweet and constantly communicating with the students and always has an open door policy! This is a wonderfull school for those people who wanna get their CDL driver license, You would never regret visiting / joining them. Great management and instructor.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I paid up front for the tuition. After a couple of days of training, they forced me to take the test which obviously I failed. There was no further training and they wouldn’t work or train me what so ever. My money literally went down the drain. Then I was asked to pay additional money in “fines” which didn’t make sense at all. I’d highly recommend other schools in Manassas area; aaa or shippers. Please stay clear from these folks.

My fiancé got his class A cdl from Marshall CDL driving school. They offer a great program for a reasonable price and even offer a payment plan which was soooo helpful for my family. They were also flexible with his class schedule.. They made sure he got the training he needed to take the big test at the DMV and also assist with job placement afterwards.

I do not recommend this school to people who do not speak English, the only instructor who has no help, design, not to speak Spanish, very bad experience, I recommend shipres school de manasas that is school
