Mom of 5 here. All I can say is yikes. To me, it seems the only public school in Bibb County that must go against the norm and takes initiative to be better, is Heritage Elementary. Im not sure if its the school board not taking charge or the families of kids attending that dont help, but Ive lived in rougher cities that had better schools. EVERYONE can do better to help.

Since my last review 7 years ago the School System hired Curtis Jones and there have been changes at the school board as well. I cannot say enough about the strength of the changes under Superintenedent Jones. I can let others do the talking for me: He won the National Superintendent of the Year. Only 4 stars because it can still get better and it is on the path to do so.

Poorly staffed and the management is awful.
