Absolutely disturbing. My daughter has contracted covid 19 twice from this school this year . No option for virtual learning staff is rude and no help . Putting children at risk. unsanitary very dangerous

Great night for Harlem Home Coming Football game. 37-0 over the Belvedere Bucs. Also on a side note, they also had the best stadium food this season. (Especially the porkchop sandwich)

Its my first year at Harlem and i recommend it complacently its probably one of the best schools in the Rockford/ loves park area. my class is the first class to do the carrier cruising its really fun so i rcomend it, also food it good, teachers always find a way to help you

A pretty nice high school that actually has air conditioning.🤷🏼‍♀️. The students are not fun, but the band is amazing.

I really like this school the teachers are very helpful and supportive. When covid started the school did everything they could to help there students they found a way to have a prom and homecoming even in covid times and the food isn’t terrible I highly recommend Harlem high school

The school is big, airy, and clean. They have good classes here like food science and forensics. The teachers are passionate and loving of their students.

Terrible, the staff all seem miserable, they are rude and always make up rulesThey dont care about your personal life at all, all they care about is a student showing up so the state pays them 12k per studentPretty ridiculous

Bad teachers, worse curriculum. Two math classes a year apart are basically identical despite having different target ages and different names. Health, driver’s ed, and Career teachers are completely useless and either tell you to google the study guide answers (if you don’t already know them) or just read the textbook. Those people never taught us a thing. Electives, science classes, and the teachers for those classes are either great or god awful. Look into anywhere else to go, private, Roscoe, anything else is better.

As a parent... I do see how HHS sets the students up for failure. It seems that every week theres a day off. . And with the amount of school closings this year... Its no wonder the students receive an F if they dont show. Be VERY careful of this school... As the teachers will fail the kids to keep them longer. They are so EXTREMELY slow at grading.. .But love giving the letter F as a grade! Get it together teachers!!!

As a young man who went to Harlem I must say you should be careful letting your kid go to school here growing up I told the counselors about what was going on in my life and they never once helped me not to mention who many idiot kids there are

I am going there now and the entire 10 years I have been in this district I have only liked 4 teachers. The grading system is ridiculous, and they treat students with no respect most of the time. I would not recommend going here

Counselors show a lack of dedication and communication with students, and considering counselors are supposed to keep their students on track, it is no wonder students are set up to fail in school systems. My counselor did not even have a career conference with me this year. I dont have the best grades so I guess Im not a priority but every student should be valued the same. Just because I got off on the wrong foot, doesnt mean I should be set up to fail. Shame on the counselors in their lack of doing their job.

I went to the harlem district from 6th to 11th grade & let me tell you i had some good grades, teachers always offered to help when help was needed.

This school is a waste of money for your kid. The teachers dont care about your child and they dont care about what they teach. They only care about $$. The school is unsafe and FULL of rude staff. Dont send your child to harlem. Better education somewhere else for sure
