The staff literally get so worked up over heelys that are fun and have never caused any problems besides anger. On a bigger topic, Im failing all my classes and barely got to 10th grade this year. only good thing is the friends there.

The football stadium is great. We were there for a graduation. Wonderful facility.

Some kid vaped I saw it, and now I’m an addict to horse tranquilizer :( thanks a lot TVHS.

This is the high school that I went to and the staff are really amazing. to me, this school was reasonably diverse. all the people who are saying that this school is horrible have not had the same experience that I have had. the only thing that i dont like is the cheers. for an example eagle eagle eagle hey hey hey eagle hey eagle eagle eagle hey hey hey.

The resource officer gives out tickets for anything. If your innocent, he States he still gives out absurd tickets claiming he isnt stating that the person is guilty. Nothing but problems with the school.

Very rude staff.

I have been receiving phone calls that a student has not been going to school on a very regular basis. This has been going on for over a year. I live 1,300 miles away! When I contacted them the initially I got an answering machine and left a message. A week passed without response. I made two more attempts before finally getting someone on the line. He stated he would contact the parent. I followed up because the calls continued. No response from the parent I was told. Little has been done to resolve the issue since who know the well being of the child. He certainly doesnt attend school. Thetoy arent too concerned about his attendance or the fact his information is incorrect. P.S. Hunter your lunch account is -$3.00. How is that even possible?!

Horrible school in a terrible district. The faculty does not take the students best interest to heart. My daughter has been bullied, molested, falsely accused of things by faculty (cameras in the school told the true story) without any help from the Dean of students DJ. There is favoritism displayed by the Dean to cheerleaders and other privileged students, such as friends of his daughter, when suspensions are involved, where other students get the maximum penalty for committing a marginal mistake. The only assistance I have received as a concerned parent is through the superintendent, and even then, the help is minute. This is not a kid friendly nor parent friendly school. I would recommend moving to a different district before enrolling your children in TVHS.

Kinda good

I spent 4 years here. 4 years of learning, growing, loving and loss. The teachers and support staff were exceptional in there never ending quest to impart knowledge to Eagar youth. The 4 years I attend TVHS endured several losses due to a large number of motor vehicle accidents and 2 suicides. Loosing so many young friends was difficult but the staff and faculty were strong and vigilant. Giving students the skills and tools nessarry to to thrive in the face of change. Thank you Mrs Saul. This place blows, i got jumped by the principle and the campus security just for saying thats gay! 90% of the people here are white supremacists, including the teachers! the spanish teacher told us to get on google translate when we walked into her class, then promptly went into the supply closet with her boyfriend. do NOT send your kids here

I attended this school 9th through 12th grade and graduated in 2010. This school has little to no diversity and has no interest in teaching about diversity and how it applies to the world. I experienced several instances of microaggressions from teachers and other staff. Dick Hewson in the science department (not the one the aquatic center is named after) is a blatant racist who has no business working in a professional teaching atmosphere. There are good teachers at this school (I did have good experiences in the science, art, and other departments) but their influence is so minor that it doesnt make a difference. I almost never recall feeling a safe environment where my learning was unhindered by being a non-white female. The whole Thompson School District could really use professional diversity training. If youre child is not a white male please consider that this school will not provide them with a safe environment for learning.
