Excellent school with great staff. As a parent, I appreciate that the school sets high standards for curriculum, behavior and appearance. The school is strict with behavior and appearance. They issue demerits for bad habits or breaking rules. BUT they also issue merits to students for good academic habits and behavior and earn rewards. The school teaches students how to be professional so they can be successful in college and beyond. From day one, students are taught that they can and will go to college, then work every day toward that goal.The Director and Principal are approachable and all teachers have been nothing but friendly and available. They respond promptly to questions and are available to meet. Teachers are creative with teaching and there are clubs/sports to join. Coursework is challenging but staff takes time to explain and provide help.In my experience, I would go so far as to say that this school is better than any public high school in the area and just as good if not better than even tuition charging private high schools in Los Angeles.Bottom line: Students are expected to learn the subjects, to learn how to think for themselves and be independent, to put in effort and work to achieve their goals, just like in real life. If thats what you want for your child, send them here. If you want a school for them where they can just get by, then maybe this isnt the school for you.

You know what, Im reading these comments and I realized that more than half the comments are students that attend the school, and as a student myself, I see these kids commenting not a good school or they bring us down and these kids are never paying attention in class and slack around. I came in in the middle of freshmen year and as a senior now, IM GLAD I MOVED! Ive never knew how much a teacher and care or how far a teacher would go to make sure you are doing good academically and just a person. Im not gonna lie and say that it was all the same with teachers, but what I can say, is that this school does everything to satisfy the students, and as a founder class-men, it was much more strict but because this school lets you have a voice, its become a lot better and it may have a few disadvantages but thats what you as a student is for, ASK PROFESSIONALLY !

I would sure like more parents to rate there feelings about there schools performances and Rules. As far as dress code Great. Sometimes it could be more as boot camp. Settings in .house. maybe in different class rooms As Im told. Concerned parent thank you

This school isnt as good as they say they are, they bring down students more then you think, your hearing this from a student that’s attending the school. I’ve had one teacher tell me that I’m bringing another student down with me n I’ve also had another teacher tell me not to fall into the same footsteps as one of my cousins that goes there as well, they also only care about rules and they take away your learning time for simple things like not bringing a belt or it being the wrong color, you also get demerits for not having your shirt tucked in or walking on the wrong side of the line they have in the hallway. Sorry if this makes other parents mad but that’s what really goes on in the school most teachers don’t care if you turn in the work or not they’re more then happy to give you an f on the assignment n they take away merit point for simple things like getting pulled out of school or not coming to school. They don’t give you a chance to speak nor express yourself the way you want because of the rules they have and if the student does have something to say about the rules they don’t want to hear it. Most likely you will get sent to the rrc ( also known as detention ). I’ve also heard a teacher say there not getting paid to listen to students they get paid to tell us what to do.

God created many good things in life like food, technology,people, etc (THIS WAS NOT ONE OF THEM).In the holy Bible it was mention that ALL HELL will rise from underneath and it just happens to be at this location.
