Liz and her teachers are awesome. Ive done many latin dance classes in the past and by far Lizs Dance Academy has been the best. The instructors all have a really great knack for teaching and Liz herself is super sweet and welcoming. As a social dancer Ive never felt out of place in her class even though there are many people who are way better than me. Its also a FANTASTIC workout. Im way more toned dancing over the 2 miles per day I ran last month lol

Liz Lira is a world champion salsa dancer! Can you find anyone better to teach you? I dont think so! She is also an amazing teacher. I have taken numerous classes from her, her patience is limitless! There are performance teams you can join, and set a goal and perform! Can it get any more fun than this??? Her personality is fun and energetic which makes classes so much more fun. Definitely the one of the best places to start learning how to dance in LA!

Liz Lira Dance Academy is the hottest place in town to learn Salsa and Latin dance from the best while having fun in a stress free and community centric environment. I have met so many awesome friends through the studio and we go dancing every weekend after group classes. This studio is life changing and you wont find a better professional than the beautiful and talented Liz Lira!The group classes are so much fun, I was initially afraid to join because I have never tried dancing Salsa before but Liz has classes for students of all levels.

Amazing Studio!!!Liz is simple a genius in her field. She truly cares about her student, ensure every effort is taken to make you feel comforatable, welcomed, and taken care of.Her studio in a cute shopping center, I love getting pizza next door also! She has bright colors, complimentary tea and coffee, and even valet service. So awesome!!The dance classes are well taught, she i always welcoming, engaging, excited, and an absolute joy. I highly recommend that you check out a class and join as a monthly member. Great for newbies and seasoned dancers!

I’ve been dancing salsa for 15 years and just recently started taking class classes with Liz Lira and she is by far the best instructor I’ve ever taken with. In a few classes she’s already dramatically improved my dancing after 15 years! she’s incredibly gifted and I highly recommend her!

It has been a lovely experience with Liz and also other instructors from Liz Lira dance academy. Everyone is caring, nice and just like a family. There are also outside activities for students and instructor to social~ love this place, and all people I met here.

An amazing instructor who wants you to succeed as a dancer! For any level dancer I suggest taking her class or a private lesson. Her ability to teach is amazing.

Love this place, I started out with a 6 class pass and learned so much. I tried learning salsa from YouTube videos and didnt really get it, this place made it click. People come from all over to learn here, and everyone is so warm that its a family atmosphere. Plus they do seasonal parties where you get to see liz, the other instructors and students perform and it blew me away. Ill be here for a while.

First and foremost, Liz is an amazing human being and nothing but positive, expressive and creative supportive energy! Her academy is like Latin dance clear sacred space! I grew up dancing freely in my hometown to the Latin sounds of Salsa, Merengue, Plena, bomba, ect...consistently playing in the background. So it was common to dance on the street or in the home. But Ive always wanted to learn beyond the feeling expand into patterns, steps, and technique. Liz Lira as a teacher is all the above. She dances with passion and expression and she has helped me and continues to help me speak the language of Salsa better! Thanks Liz! I always have a great time at her studio!
