A lot of people are giving this school horrible reviews because of how the students act. The entire school shouldnt be based off of a few kids that dont have good behavior. The school has no influence on them and shouldnt be blamed for their actions. Its an amazing school, the teachers are great, the campus is being fixed, and the band program is also one of the best in the county. I have been going to this school for three years and I have never found a reason to leave.

I honestly think we are an amazing school. Great opportunities, great elective classes, and it allowed me to figure out what i want to do when i grow up. No other school other than South Seminole gives an engineering program like this. The kids are horrible but you are not there for the people, you are there to learn. AND along the way you make friends.

In my experience, Milwee is a very acceptable school for kids who want to be an Engineer. This school focuses greatly on S.T.E.M. (Science,Technology,Engineering, and Mathematics). They have many different engineering courses, Aerospace, Orthographic Design, and many more. The teachers are focused, strict, and fun on their lessons. All I want fixed in this school is the bathrooms.

In my opinion this school is great in ways of its own for example the school, this school is a amazing school to go to until you meet the kids, the kids are kinda getting on my nerves they dont care about anyone but themselves and dont even care about the consequences they get. That is where I got really surprised because i didnt expect horrible kids to go to such a amazing school. I asked most of my friends and some of the teachers, they all said the same thing... it is some of the sanford kids... But other than the topic about the kids i really enjoy the school even this early in the school year. I honestly cannot wait to see more kids RISE at my school because there are a lot of amazing intelligent kids there :] and they all deserve the best.

My son loves this school. He takes a bus 45 minutes each way to get to it because it is the Pre-Engineering Magnet for Seminole County. For that he gets to take Video Game Design, Lego Robotics, and Automation. He likes almost all of his teachers and looks forward to going to school.

The school is cool. Not too bad, kids kinda suck though. The teacher are (mostly) nice. Engineering, band, and ib program is really good though from what I heard.

This month - Feb. 2017 will be a year precisely my wife and I enrolled our daughter in Milwee. She loves Milwee. Ms Coto was so sweet - made the enrolment seamless.

One star. why?school is dirty. discipline is mediocre. certain students personalities are unbearably awful to be around and almost makes me misanthropic. good luck having fun in this school. btw there is piss completely covering every floor of every male bathroom in the school. janitors, step up your game. no offense though.

Based on these comments, Avoid sending your child here. For the young people that graciously gave us their input. The review is supposed to include the people. They make up the school. The people make up the environment. The structures, conditions of facilities and equipment available are a little less important. And for the little 8th grader calling people dumbasses, Kid, your attitude is a good example (and sample of whats to come) of why many people may not want their kid attending this school. Your input is useful as well. To the students that attend this school: all of your comments give us insight on the dynamics of an education and experience there, the nature of the students there and the environment that nurtures the various types of attitude and behavior. Based on what Ive read, this looks to be a bad place to send your kids.

I go there and I love it! It has really fun classes and most of the teachers are nice. The FSA is coming up tomorrow, and my LA teacher, Mr. Bruen, is my favorite teacher and he told us not to worry! I love all of my classes and I am very happy.

Everyone keeps talking crap about Milwee. I go to Milwee. and its a great environment with great, intelligent kids and great atmosphere. You people have no idea what youre talking about.

A lot of people give absolute horrible reviews of the school but as a student myself I have to say that the school is a great place but I will say that the janitor doesnt clean the bathrooms so they get piss everywhere. If you could, send your child here. Unlike some people say, it does NOT sell drugs.

Honestly I do not understand why everyone is writing such horrible reviews, I went there a few years ago (I am a sophomore at Seminole High), and it really was not as bad as some kids say it is. The only problems the school had when I was there were the children themselves and the bathroom in the Einstein building which they had remodeled. The children are disrespectful and I think some of the people who wrote bad reviews are those disrespectful students. The bathroom is actually disgusting, and is why I choose to use the bathroom at home unless it is an absolute emergency, even now. Kudos to all of the teachers there, keep up the good (and hard) work.

Since the first week I came to Milwee, I have never been the same. Milwee has scared me for life. There was a girl who was raped a few months back and the predator was a teacher. If you think thats bad, thats not even the half of it. Since milwee has no security, anyone can walk right in. A man with a mask walked around the campus and gave out cocaine. I have to admit, that was one of the better days at milwee. However, if your child is cripled, dont send him to school at milwee. People will push you around or even down the stairs. And last but not least, lets not forget about that shooting a few years back.

Love this school, my kids love it and so do I, I want to thank Ms. Coto for all her help and support when I need help with enrolling my kids, she is a wonderful lady and my kids love her.

This is an incredibly good school. I admit there are some teacher and staff that just seem to hate life but there are amazing teachers such as Mrs.Corlett, Mr.Bartch, Coach Sonia, Ms.W in the chorus and theatre department, Mr.Bruen, Mr.Dalesandro, both Mrs.Aycriggs (those are just a few of my favorites) but if you want your child or children to get fair discipline and a strong,firm education go here. And although there are cons ( the bathrooms) its mainly students taking advantage of what they are given.

This is my duaghters school she loves it and she really has been having great grades and it is a pre engineering school that is amazing for all ages.

My experince was horrible I am a current 8th grader and the teachers do nothing at all except follow the curriculum there’s no discipline and kids are out of control. The second I came here I I was mortified our dubtitute teacher even trued to talk us in to drugs and I’m in pre ib avoid coming here

As a parent I advise you that this school regardless of the IB program it offers has a lot of trouble kids. Be aware and keep your kids safe.

Im under a fake name bc yeah. But anyway my experience at milwee was somewhat good and somewhat bad. A lot of fake people go there, people will talk bad about you no matter what you do. So dont try to impress anyone. The staff could be better. All the 6th grade teachers suck, especially Ms.cole when I had her like 3 years ago. 7th grade teachers are better. Shoutout to Mrs.Santiago/Cubano for being the best teacher ever. And all the civics teachers are really fun. And like all of the 8th grade teachers are really fun and cool if youre on their good side. Also shoutout to Mrs.Skaggs for being my absolute favorite person at that ew school. A lot of fights happen here, drugs go on and yanno the bad stuff. I dont recommend going to milwee but if you do just know the teachers are probably the best part of this school.

Ah, yes, Milwee Middle School - home of wizards, fights, unicorns, and oppurtunities to sell those fidget spinners that have been circulating.Anyway, lets get to the point. Milwee is, well... decent. Im not in Standard classes, so Im not sure what to say about that, but for the most part the education itself hasnt been half-bad. The common core teachers here in 8th grade Pre-IB are pretty decent, providing engaging, yet informative activities to help us learn.The real problem here isnt (I think) the teachers, but moreover the students. Its generally kind of preschool ghetto, everyone trying their best to be cool but are actually quite the softy. Surviving a day without hearing a single curse word is impossible. Oh, and dont forget your average rumors - sex, drugs, weed, etc. - you know, its pretty normal for a school like this. Dont wear sweatpants, either, or else youll get pantsed. No, not the half-baked kind where you just see their boxers. No, the full-on ones.Of course, Im just an IB student. Its probably twice as bad in Standard classes.

Milwee middle school is the best and help people who need extra help and got good teacher like Mrs.horn, Mr.harris, Ms. OConnor, Ms.peters, etc. you also have a great system for lunch, classes, etc.

Anybody who is saying that milwee sells drugs and that there are drug circles in the school is absolutely wrong milwee is honestly a great and wonderful school I am in the 8th grade and I have only had 2 bad experiences since the 6th grade yes the bathrooms are disgusting but that and the fact the there are a few bad eggs in the school shouldnt stop you from bringing your child here to LEARN

Hi, I go to Milwee and have been going here for my hole middle school life (Im in 8th). there are a lot of kids that do drugs, but, there are also a lot that dont. Ive been in both groups and 95% of the time when you say no the kids stop asking. This school is not horrible but its no private school. The teachers are nice and WANT to teach the kids here, the only reason there mean is because there are kids that are externally rude to the teachers here. This school is improving and will only get better from here on out and to the person that said that the picture isnt Milwee, its lyman is wrong. That is Milwee and if it dose show Lyman its because Milwee used to be part of lyman.

I dont think this place is bad but its not good either but my experience in this school. I have been bullied at this school many times and harassed here and people wanting to hurt me honestly im done with this school and its just my first year here I dont feel safe barely survived this school year. I have been judge just because what I look like how I talk ETC. My mom withdraw me out of this school due to the facts of what people have done to me above because she was tired of my complaining due to what students have done to me. But let me share with you why this school isnt all that bad. They have Pre-Engineering magnet and Pre-Ib.Pre-IB is only distributed to the four magnet middle schools in seminole county. Even though im not in Pre-Ib i wanted to next year but im not going to a magnet school im just going to a regular middle school but it is what it is. In conclusion I really didnt like Milwee but its not really a bad school. Its just the people who are in it. Thank you Milwee for a stressful but very unusual year.

Im a current student and this school is not recommended unless your child is there for the electives or the Pre-IB program we have. There are many fights and there is an actually drug ring in the school and no one does anything about it. The bathrooms are riddled in graffiti and the kids are rude offensive time bombs. If you are a parent and think the fights are normal they arent little kid fights. There were blood on the walls last year from all the fights we had in a row in a single week.

First day at school and someone tryed to sell me drugs. Theres a guy who calls himself the question man that sells weed. Our spanish substitute teacher also tryed to sell us dead cats.

I dont know why they say negative things about this school. In my opinion and in my experience this school is very good. That of drugs and fights is false at least I have not witnessed that experience here. The teachers at the moment are excellent teachers.The school is great and has a tremendous engineering program. In short, this school is nothing negative about what they say. I hope it always stays that way.I am proud that my children are here.Good Good School !!! We love this school !!!Good teachers !!!!
