My daughter loves it here and repeatedly asks to attend during the summer and camp weeks even when I offer alternatives. She has attended since she was 3 years old and now does before and after care in first grade. She had made many friends from kiddie academy and loves the teachers. They are nice, professional, and always say hi and tell you about your childs progress. Lately she gets super excited about Fridays because they have special crafts every Friday afternoon like tie dye, construction paper, and various group activities. Also, the teachers have far less turn over compared to her previous day care and some have been there since the school opened, I think about 6 or 7 years ago. Love this school!

I have been bringing my son to this daycare since he was 3 months old, which was very difficult as a first time mom, and they have always done everything they can to make me feel comfortable with this transition. Everyone is warm and friendly, and takes care of each child like they are their own. During the recent pandemic they have stepped up their game with keeping the facility very clean, and able to stay open throughout, which was much needed being a parent who works in healthcare. Knock on wood-but my son has been healthy with not even a cold since February. They also always have fun events for the kids planned and we always look forward to dress up days! I am so grateful for kiddie academy!

My little dude loves it here! This is our first experience with a daycare and I cant imagine sending him anywhere else. Ms. Kristen has such a large heart and empathy towards the kids and really makes my guy feel special. He has a speech delay and sending him here has helped so much! All the teachers want to see their kids succeed and thrive here. The front desk staff is also incredible and I am always greeted with a smile. Do yourself a favor and put your tiny human is the hands of these educated, kind and fantastic people!!!

I love this school!! I have a toddler that formerly went to La Petite and while I loved that school at first, things changed quickly. All but 3 teachers left from the time she started there and then the director went to a sister location and we were only notified the day of the switch about halfway through the day. So, I remembered one of her teachers that left went to work here at Kiddie Academy, so I reached out to her and set up a tour. I love the staff and how clean everything is. My daughter has yet to cry upon drop off or pick up and she has learned so much in only a few weeks of being there. I would recommend this school to absolutely anyone with children!! Love this place so much!!

This center is by far the cleanest and most well run daycare I have seen. My children have been through many. In addition, I have worked in several. I have never been in a center where there are monthly meetings to help build staff knowledge and to form a spirit of unity within the staff. From openers to closers, the team found here are happy, friendly, hard working and have the childrens best interest at heart. I know, because I work in one of the rooms. There is constant interaction, constant cleaning, planning and preparation, a loving spirit for all children in all rooms and a sense of working together. There is also constant staff development and opportunity to self reflect so that we can become the best teachers that we can possibly be. We know that our parents are sending us the best that they have, so we in turn want to provide our best to educate and help them develop into the best individuals they can be. I absolutely love Kiddie Academy Longwood/ Lake Mary. If I lived in the area and my children went to the feeder schools for there, my own kids would absolutely be attending with me as well!!!

Wanted to update my satisfaction on this wonderful facility! It has now been 6 months that my son has been here. He is 2 1/2 and just loves it. There are days he doesnt want to leave at all. He asks about his friends and is excited to see them. He is also in the Soccer Shots program and cant wait to play each week now! My son is being taught so much everyday it is hard to keep up with him at night with the excitement of telling us each new thing!! Also a huge thanks to Mrs Millie and Mrs Jennifer for everything they do all day especially getting him potty trained, I know we arent there 100% but I know he is almost there! You ladies are amazing and my husband and I appreciate all the staff at Kiddie Academy for loving our son and taking such good care off him!!

My daughter has had the most fabulous transition period to this school. Her teacher is absolutely amazing!! She strives to make sure each day is a new experience and I fell all the other teachers in the school do the same. The owner is involved and actually works in the building and there is a handful of other management staff available. I recommend this school for its beautiful appearance and more importantly the friendly and warm, loving staff.

Aside from the obvious visual pleasantries of the school, I am thoroughly impressed with the staff. The facility is always clean and presentable while the faculty is warm and welcoming. I have never had an issue with the teachers and the way the children are cared for. The school has a solid curriculum based foundation backed by strong management team. I have nothing negative to say about this school!

I am a former employee and parent at Kiddie Academy. Kiddie Academy is one of the best schools around for your children and for employees. The staff all work together like a big family. The teachers and administrators are always smiling and are providing a very positive environment for the children and parents. Also, the school is always hosting some type of an event to bring families and teachers closer. Plus, this school offers lots of different activities for your child to participate in. They offer soccer shots, kindermusik,, karate, my gym and many more. You will not regret if you choose this school because this school knows how to expand your childs mind.

I have 2 kids here, and honestly I wish I had found this Amazing Academy sooner. I had bad experience at 2 other ones (Ladybird & Kids Together)... But from the beginning in Kiddie Academy starting with the tour I loved it, decided wed give it a shot, and have been there going on a year now. It feels good to see that the teachers really take care of your kids and they are loving as they are teaching. I know my baby boy is 10 handfuls, but his teachers have been so nice and understanding and manage him so well its extremely gratifying. Safety is great also, you create your own passcode to get in and they have cameras that you can see your kids!!! that was a plus for me!! Its a great environment from the moment you enter, everyone is so welcoming and nice. I highly recommend this Day Care to everyone! Your babies will be in great hands!

We chose Kiddie Academy for several reasons. I like that they have security cameras and I can watch my daughter anytime. Teachers are nice and friendly. Parents receive daily updates, often with pictures of their kids. Meals are nutritious and healthy. Overall, we are very satisfied with the quality of care provided.

As a former employee of Kiddie Academy of Longwood, I have to say the teachers themselves are extremely helpful and work well together as a team. The kitchen cook was constantly heavily involved in helping out in the classrooms as much as she possibly could- this goes to show the level of dedication and care for the co-workers/children. The teachers always seemed to hold professional relationships with parents as well. One of the biggest downfalls of Kiddie Academy, and the reason many of the teachers have left is due to the management team. The assistant director constantly tried her best to help out the teachers as much as possible. There were times rooms were over ratio, times were teachers have called to ask for assistance and the management team said, you are in ratio. I also felt the level of professionalism in the management team was very poor. This was the only center I have ever worked at with this issue. Theres no communication from management to staff which makes every day a struggle. The reviews that are posted on many sites are posted not just from parents but staff members of the center.

Last week my son hurt himself badly and we were not made aware until we went to pick him up at the end of the day. We have tried to get in contact them for some explanation of the incident, but have not received a call back or email as was promised. Rather, we have been refunded only half of our security deposit with no discussion. Its as if they hope we will just go away. Embarrassingly unprofessional and a big safety concern. Edit: I was able to talk to someone after stopping by the school and calling again. Still awaiting a full refund as was discussed. I am disappointed in how this was handled, but appreciate the director finally taking my call.

SADLY disappointed! Save yourself the time especially if looking for infant care. The individual running the infant room had no interest in our child and made no attempts to interact. She had difficulties answering any of our questions about the room as she stood leaning up against the counter. We were asked to put booties over our shoes or bare feet before entering the room. Socks were ok, but no bare feet. The caveat here is that the room leader was walking around bare footed in and out of the room. The overall appearance of the (very small) infant room was awful; dirty and clustered with no space for the babies to be other than a small corner of the room on a matt or in one of the cribs taking up 2/3s of the room. Two children were laying on mattresses on the floor. Additionally, there was no bouncy seats or infant swings. As this is a parents personal choice to use a bouncy seat or swing, we were told that children dont belong in bouncy seats or swings. The personalities of the staff was cold. Nothing about this place, from the moment we walked though the unlocked front door, to walking out, left us feeling good. Not a place we would leave our child! Save yourself time!!!! Look elsewhere!!!!!

My son just started at Kiddie Academy and I love all the extras (Cameras I can watch, codes to enter the building, healthy eating, fun learning activities and daily reports and photos) they have so the parents feel safer and more at ease about leaving their child(ren). This has been a rough week for myself as my son has been with me since the day he was born and came to work with me everyday as well since he was 4 months old. So Ive been a wreck but having the ability to get on the video stream and see him having fun, eating and playing is amazing. However today we mark the 4th day at daycare and he is having a rough day. He has been crying most of the day because he didnt want me to leave. However I am not worried because whenever I check on him Mrs. Maria and Miss Shelby are taking care of him in the same manner as i would. It makes me so happy that they can help comfort him when I cant. Then I see him playing again! Thank you ladies so much for making this as easy as possible on me and my son!! So happy I found them :)

As I toured this school I found that many of the teachers seemed to run classrooms by themselves with several children. Although the classrooms looked like they were being well maintained by the staff, I was concerned the the children wouldnt get the individual attention they deserve. I also overhead one of the members of management reprimanding a teacher in front of other staff and children, this act seemed rather unprofessional. I found the director to be rather curt, and seemed to be pushy. I have toured other schools and found that the rates at this center also seemed rather pricey for what they offer. On a positive note, the classrooms did seem very bright and the teachers were very warm and welcoming. My biggest concern is the way the school is being ran with the management team.

The Facility is very very dirty, the baby room is cluttered and hazardous with the different rusted toys and rusted spoons used for the babies. I am extremely disappointed with the facility especially with the amount of money paid weekly. I have already reported this to child services. It is not safe for any child to be in that baby room, every day the toys where nasty and still had food/slobber from the day before play time. It was truly disgusting, my husband witnessed a staff member giving our sons pacifier to another baby and there where bugs in the baby room. I will never recommend any one to your facility and i left there as quick as i could find a safer cleaner facility. also you attempt to keep the baby room clean with wearing booties on the feet however they are not thrown away after each use there for the next person puts the booties on and walks in the baby room with all the dirt that the previous person had on. Every other facility i have been to throws them away after each use as they are very inexpensive! I can not express how upset and angry i was when i brought up these issues multiple times and nothing was done about any of these issues. It is truly disgusting. And i feel as though your facility only care about money and does not take the time to update and clean the place properly and have safe toys and eating utensils for the children. It is a hazard leaving your baby there. I also reported food left on the floor for three days in the same spot never cleaned up. The crumbs all around it is just gross i can go on and on. There was also an incident where the teacher decided to fill my sons bottle with formula first and then with water WHICH is a huge no no for his as he has a serious stomach condition and can not handle that amount of concentrated formula when i told ms beth this she told me that it was the way she did it when her kids where babies and she didnt know any other way which made me feel sick to my stomach because this is house she had been feeding all babies and especially my son.UPDATE: For parents who actually care about there children as i see that a positive comment was made after i made mine referencing my very true comment. You need to know that the owner has people make positive comments on the reviews. I suggest that when you take a tour you ask to see the toys and utensils used to feed you child in the baby room, take a close look around the floor for food ect, dont schedule a tour just show up so there is no time to tidy up the baby room before you go because believe me it will never be that clean again, look at the booties you put on your feet when asked to wear them to tour the baby room and they will tell you that they throw them away but they do not, as thats what i was told on my tour. I wish i looked more closely at the baby room when i toured the facility! The google reviews are for the customers to know exactly what is going on at the school especially since it involves children, not for you to have people post positive things to get you more business it is just a shame. As far as my report to dcf it was reported for neglect, due to cleanliness and the hazard of rusted toys and utensils in the facility, the facility has neglected to properly care to the infants while they are attending this school. It is even more disgusting that you have asked someone to comment on my review instead of taking action to fix the issues. As i said before i do not feel safe with the clutter filled baby room and will NEVER be back and will never recommend anyone to go there.

I have two children currently at the Kiddie Academy, my 2.5 year old and my 4 month old. I can’t say enough about the family feel this center offers. The facility is clean, warm, joyful, colorful, and a great place for children to learn and grow. Mr. Ted, the owner, takes pride in this school and is there daily to be involved in its management. Ms. Karina is an absolute rock star of a Director and any childcare center would be lucky to have her. She’s constantly researching and implementing the latest and greatest curriculum for the school.I was shocked to see a one star review written about the cleanliness of the baby room. I visit the baby room daily and while on maternity leave have spent many long visits of over 20 minutes at a time there. I have, not once, seen anything dirty or worth complaining about. I know each teacher well and am very close with the administrators of the school. I know for a fact they would never allow rusted utensils to be used to feed the children. Many of their own kids attend the school or have attended in the past. I am beyond impressed with Ms. Beth (in the baby room) who takes the lead and facilitates care for the babies by motivating her team, remaining positive in the face of adversity, and comforting parents as if they were her own children! Mrs. Clara (also a baby room teacher) is amazing. She is loving, kind, and gentle. Ms. Annette (another baby room teacher) is protective and reminds me of my own mother looking out for the babies who might need special attention (like my daughter who has sensitive skin). I feel 100 percent safe leaving my 4 month old with them daily. As for a staff member giving a pacifier to the wrong child, welcome to daycare. This can happen at the cleanest and most highly-rated facilities. When a child starts crawling and walking, other children will take his pacifier right out of his mouth, slobber all over it, and then give it back to him in the blink of an eye.I’d also like to comment on both the threat to and action of reporting issues to the Department of Children and Families (DCF), or “Child Services.” The guidelines on DCF’s website to report abuse include a request to provide A brief, yet concise, description of the abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation...” Note the language used… “abuse,” “neglect,” “abandonment”… I can attest to this facility’s dedication to keeping children safe. I can confidently say I’ve never witnessed or suspected any abuse by any member of the Kiddie Academy staff. DCF is in place to protect children from serious abuse. This is clearly outlined on their website and in the terminology used in their guidelines. Taxpayer dollars shouldn’t be wasted by first time mommies calling to report a cheerio was left on the floor. I do hope what was reported was indeed truthful because DCF’s website also makes it clear “Any person who knowingly and willfully makes a false report or counsels another to make a false report is guilty of a felony of the third degree punishable by up to five years in prison.”Care should be taken when making harsh accusations. Actions and words affect employees and other families who bring their children to this facility. Please handle yourself in a kind and loving manner. :)
