Goldfish has been amazing! Even before the start of Covid they were all wonderful. When they shut down for awhile they would keep us up to date on what was going on and send videos of how to continue our swimming techniques out of the pool. When they finally reopened, I received and email and a phone call telling me all the new guidelines and safety procedures. As a parent it made me feel so comfortable and willing to send my child back. Each swim instructor is so active in assisting every child. They are attentive, caring, and ALWAYS have a smile on their face. They take their time with each child to show them the correct technique and make them feel so good about themselves after each try. Also, communication with parents is clear, consistent, and concise. They are so pleasurable on the phone and assist with anything needed. I also love the fact that they allow makeup tokens for missed classes. I would highly recommend Goldfish (and have) to other parents looking for a safe and fun swimming facility.

We love Goldfish Swim School! We appreciate all the precautions they take to make sure myself and my boys are safe. This facility is impeccable. The cleanliness down to the friendly and knowledgeable staff are amazing. It is a pleasure to bring my 2 younger boys for swimming lessons here. I would definitely recommend this facility to my fellow parents looking for swimming lessons for their children.

The staff and facility are all really great. My son loves going here and, most importantly, hes becoming a stronger swimmer. :)

As usual they are very aware of the children and keeps a close eye on them. Some instructors you like more than others but thats just preference.

Great place for kids to learn how swim, Super affordable and they accommodate for all hours and the kids definitely look forward to swim.

The staff is incredible here. We also feel welcomed and that they take Covid precautions seriously. The facility is always clean. The teachers are amazing - so warm and patient. During lessons, I always feel that my child is safe and in good hands. He has progressed so much in a few weeks.

Friendly, organize atmosphere. They take excellent care of the students. Its safe to leave the kids in their hands.

This looked like a great location to bring my toddler for private swim lessons, as it was endorsed by NJMOM. I’ve called multiple times and left messages, emailed twice and have received no response over the last 3 weeks. Looking at previous reviews now it seems my calls and messages may have been ignored on purpose. Unfortunate.

My kids love going to classes there. Everyone is so nice and professional!

The pools are separated nicely and small class sizes keep the children separated further during the lesson which I believe is safer since they cant wear masks. The center is clean and streamlined for safety and parents chairs are nicely spaced for viewing your childs class. Just A+ service from all of the staff as well.

My daughter has really enjoyed Goldfish Swimschool. Everyone is very nice and accommodating and the facility is clean.

STAY AWAY!!!!The staff members may seem nice, but unfortunately things are not always as they seem. Front desk worker, Christina, and manager, Tiffany, are very in-genuine and egotistical. They treat staff members like children, watching their every move and if you dare speak up for yourself, you will be quickly booted.The swimming program, however, is sound and I would recommend it for teaching children how to swim.Thus, stay away from the Livingston location and find another Goldfish Swim School in the area.

The staff is patient and friendly. My daughter was terrified to go in the pool before we started and she cried through her whole swim lesson. Each week has gotten better and better, and now she looks forward to it!

My kids have fun and learn to swim. I have seen my 6 year old progress so quickly! We love it. Also have hosted two birthday parties here and they are excellent.

The swim coach Mr.Jay is patient, supportive and kind to my kids. Mr.Jay helps them to develop their confidence and skills in the pool. He makes swimming fun. They look forward to swimming every week. The other staff members are always pleasant and friendly. Its a great environment!

Sceptical first because it was 25 minutes of class and i have to drive 30 minutes in each direction, but came because a friend of mine recommended and i do not regret it.My daughter was scared of water and she is 6 yo. Now she is swimming like a siren in just 4-5 classes. Staff is great and take seriously covid.. very personalized classes that speed up learning process. Really happy with the experience that i will take my newborn baby ad soon as I can!

Goldfish Swim School is one of the few activities my child continues as Covid-19 protocols & safety measures are paramount! Daughter enjoys the classes and has made great strides; swim teachers are skilled and engaging.Highly recommended!

Goldfish swim school takes very serious precautions to Covid-19. Six feet distance, taking temperatures, hand sanitizers at the door entryway and cleanest.My 3 year old loves it. I love that the instructors have that one on one individual time with each student during class which help the lil ones with getting adjusted to the water. This is a Great swim school I’m happy to have my child enrolled in swim lessons here.

My daughter loves her time in the pool. She looks forward to her swimming lesson all week. From my perspective the staff are really nice and extremely helpful, many of them know my daughters name.

Loved our 4 year olds swim classes before COVID and since then, they have done a great job of re-opening and keeping everyone safe!

Great staff and service! Our boys have been coming here for well over a year now and they love it. Their skills have significantly improved with every level. I love that they have a student to teacher ratio of 4:1 so that they get the personalized attention to really work on their skills. The warm water is a wonderful plus and keeps the boys from getting sick. We also often come for family swim nights on Friday evenings to have the boys feel comfortable in the pool, reiterate the new strokes they are learning, and have a fun night out! Cancelling a class is very easy online and you get plenty of make-ups. The staff is incredible and the management team is very accommodating. Keep up the great work!!

I love taking my daughter to Goldfish Swim in Livingston. The school is very clean, easy to schedule or reschedule classes. The instructors are all very friendly and always give you feedback on how your child is doing, I truly love taking my little girl to class every week.

Mother of 3, totally recommend this swimming school, after trying semi private lessons and getting results because the water was too cold I decided to try Goldfish by the third lesson I saw immediate results on my 6 and my 5 year old. After 7 months They are now swimming independently. The only reason why I dont give them the full 5 stars is because is very hard to book make up lessons .Staff are very friendly and sweet.

Beautiful facility. However it’s really crowded and some of the parents are extremely rude. In a two week span I’ve been bumped into by a Dad who changes his sons by the pool when others are trying to leave. Last week at the hair drying station a Dad rudely snatched the dryer my daughter and I were sitting in front of and claimed “my son prefers this dryer”. Unbelievable and flat out rude.Onto the swimming my 6 year old was not doing well due to the fact as others stated a 30 min class with 4 children = not enough swim time. She was in private swim lessons but a friend recommended goldfish so we gave it a go. In the lessons here she was not progressing at all.My Daughter is swimming now only because I’ve taken her to pools and taught her in 1 day. We don’t have time normally to get to the pool but frustrated and finally being free for the summer in 1 day at the pool she had swimming down pact finally.The staff is ok but something needs to be put in writing and placed at the drying stations and around the facility regarding etiquette. Also send emails regarding being respectful and cordial to others at this “family style” facility. You would think parents would want to behave decently in front of their kids. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I guess not. We will be returning to private lessons in the fall.

Fully equipped for excellent swimming lessons from educated, fun and experienced swim instructors. Transformed my kids from casual self taught swimmers to completely proficient in all strokes. I feel that they can be around water safely now. 💦 🏊

Im sure the experience is different for everyone, but I was not happy.Son is in kindergarten. They put him in a small group with 3 other kids and 1 instructor. So 4 kids, one instructor.Class starts a few minutes late every time. So 30 minute class is more like 27.Then instructor is trying to teach each kid individually 1 at a time. So my kid gets about 7 minutes of instruction per class.Seven minutes.Nothing accomplished. No improvement. Hard to believe they think a kid can actually learn something or improve in that amount of time.Just get a local pool membership and teach your kid yourself.

The staff is very friendly and pool is clean. We all love to go there. My daughter always get the balloon after her class :) Family Swimming time is awesome that we get sometime to practicing. Only wish we could have is increasing family swimming time for us to choose from when school is in session. We love goldfish swimming school.

There is no swim assessment provided like ordinary swim facilities. The only way to do a swim assessment is by enrolling in a $24.5 casual class, priced as of Sept 2018. Also the lane that a swimmer learning swimming is super short, like 2 lanes width in regular swim pool. Each student swim very short distance. Also there is no jumping board, so any skill like jumping from block and swim cannot be achieved here, which is among basic skills in other swim classes in swim report. Compared to Skills listed in their student progress report with that of other swim facilities, combined skills listed in several levels is equivalent to what can be achieved in single level in other swim facilities.

My son loves it at Goldfish. Small classes, friendly instructors & a great facility. He’s made huge improvements in just a few weeks!

Great school! Staff is very friendly. Our teacher is fantastic with all the babies. They not only teach them swimming but pool safety as well. We will never go anywhere else. We love Goldfish Swim School, with a special love for Bubbles.

Goldfish Swim School is very family oriented and the services are amazing. My son has been a student since 6 months old. As a first time parent, it is a blessing to have found a place with compassionate staff that I can trust. From the knowledgable front desk service reps to the amazing teachers, Goldfish Swim School is the best.

Great place for kids to learn water safety and have fun in the pool! Their philosophy on non-stop swim lessons is really important. My older two children learned to swim this way too. This place is also exceedingly clean, convenient, safe, and the staff is friendly. Really happy we joined!

My daughter Angelise attends this Swimming School every week with her Dad and we All love it. I am so pleased with his decision of selecting this place. The staff is superb and attentive. 100% satisfied.

Out standing place to take your children what sets it apart is the staff extremely friendly

The instructors are engaging and focuses on each child to determine their progress level. They relay to us what the child needs to work on and how they are performing individually. I like how some are very in tuned and quick to suggest whether or not the child can advance to the next level.

Samantha is a great instructor. She is very patient and my daughter loves her. My daughter was petrified of water on her face and now can go under water after a few lessons. There is a lot of traffic in and out of this place so availability is scarce and you may have to wait to get into a class

We love it here! We started this year and seeing great improvements in their safety and swimming.

Our daughter has 2 lessons a week here (she is now 12 months old). Facilities are excellent, cleanliness is excellent and the teachers are excellent. Highly recommend.

I love that there is constant progress on the skills that are being taught. I love that my girls continue to learn new skills and are not stagnant waiting for the next session in order to learn something new.

I love that the classes are no more than 4 people. My daughter is learning how to swim after 3 weeks of attending.

Clean, professional and friendly. Enrolled my 4 year old after a 4 month break when we moved. Slightly higher in price point than other schools. But a decent size pool, friendly teachers, clean changing rooms and enough bathrooms.

Your search will be telling you it’s a good place. But it’s very crowed. And front desk staff is not helping at all. Bad tryout, unpleasant experience.

Amazing staff and Excellent customer service!

3 years ago I met my wonderful fiancé, the only downside was she had two wimpy sons, one the 7 year old who is a complete girly man was scared of the water, he would cry and cry anytime he was near water and at his sleep away camp he was so scared to go in the lake he gave himself some sort of mental episode when they had indstructual swimm time .I don’t know how they did it, but the patient and quite obviously experienced staff got this wimpy kid not only to put his feet in the water, but he actually learned to swim and get this the kid loves the water now . How they did it I have no clue I tried to teach him myself by just throwing him in my parents pool ( that’s how my dad thought me ), but he just sank like an anchor and cried for 2 days ? I tried this 3 times and then I heard about goldfish swim school . The rest is history now he wants me to build a pool ( I promised if he learned to swim I would ) . The bottom line is this place is fantastic and unfortunately for him we are building a tennis court! Too bad they can’t teach him to serve and volley, hats off to Goldfish they did the impossible and I am forever grateful.

Really nice facility (Livingston), fun atmosphere, and super nice staff.

Highly unprofessional staff... stopped by to inquire and the lady at the desk says you cannot be here we have a birthday party so the facility is closed. Very rude... post a sign at the door saying it’s closed for a party and be professional enough to handle a potential customer instead of six employees twirling thumbs. Hands me a brochure... I had already done my research online... so keep your brochure... I came into see the facility.
