I attended this school during the 1st and 2nd grades during the years of 1996-1997. Something I remember quite well from way back then was that we would recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, once in English and once in Spanish for those still learning English. I dont mean to light a fire or anything of that sort, but I am curious if this is still practiced? I know now its a sore subject, but it obviously wasnt back then. How times do change. If someone doubts that I attended this school, the principal at the time was Mr. Silveira (spelling) and my teacher was Miss. Sodi (spelling)
