The director is very professional, they have handled the COVID process very professional and is very clean, my daughter lovers her teachers.Sunshine House is great with keeping me updated on my daughters daily meals and activities and affordable!😊

My daughter has been attending the Sunshine House for about a month now and I am extremely pleased! Within this time I have seen my six month old get stronger, learn, and grow in tremendous ways. I am excited to see her excel in the future here at the sunshine house!

First Id like to say, Sunshine House has a Great, friendly, caring, staff, and that is what the 3 stars are for. On the other hand, theres constantly technical issues with the check in/out iPad, phone system being down all the time, and NOW the door key pad has been broke for weeks, and they are having to prop the front door open in the morning and evenings so that people can get in. Not sure thats really safe for our kids. One would think that whoever funds the daycare would have fixed this by now, as also when the door is closed you have to call them to let you in, or, if you forget your phone at home like Ive done twice already, hope that someone walks by and sees you standing outside wasting time, or, have to find a window to flag down a teacher in a class to let you in. I am concerned about the safety, and will now see who I need to call at the corporate office to fix the door. Its getting ridiculous, all of these technical issues on a regular basis. I pay full tuition out of my pocket and am considering taking my child out of this daycare

My 3 year old has been going to Sunshine House for more than a year now and we absolutely adore the place. The staff are some of the most amazing people I have ever met and my son is disappointed when he cant go over the weekend. He has made friends his own age and they work with the kids to achieve developmental goals. Hes always happy to go to school which makes it so much easier to leave him. I recommend Sunshine House without a doubt.

My granddaughter has been going for several months she is in the baby room and all the wonderful women are just awesome. They show they care and even though she has no words her actions show she loves being there and feels safe and cared for. It’s a great feeling to feel like you can trust who you leave your children’s life with. She is our future princess and loves everyone there. Thank you for your care with our baby!

My daughter is in the infant room. The staff are very good and attentive. I feel confident that my child is being taken care of above and beyond! Each day she comes home with a sheet that lets me know what activities she participated in, what she ate, and documentation of her naps and potty schedule. Overall a great experience with peace of mind that my child is being taken care of this far.

We have been taking our granddaughter to sunshine House for almost a year the staff are wonderful very attentive. We feel very comfortable having our baby there and she loves being there. We would recommend Sunshine House to anyone looking to put their children in daycare.

I LOVE THE SUNSHINE HOUSE OF LITTLE ELM!!!!!!! My daughter has been attending here since July 2017. She is currently in the Toddlers class with Miss J and we love her! I enjoy getting pictures and videos of my daughter having SO MUCH FUN learning and participating in all of the Sunshine House Curriculum activities!!!! Also, I love looking around her classroom and seeing all the beautiful pictures and things that she has created with her teacher and classmates! The entire staff here at the Sunshine House Academy of Little Elm is AMAZING!!!!! The Director, Faren Manuel and Director-In-Training, Mary Jones totally rock!!! They always say hello and goodbye at drop off and pick up, answer my questions, and take care of me and my family very well! So blessed to be here! Wouldnt go anywhere else!

The Sunshine House LE has been like our childrens second home! For the past 12 months. Our son started as an infant and is now in the 2s class with Ms Kyndra. We couldnt be happier with the love, instruction and nutrition they provide to our son. We are always greeted by the Director Faren or the Asst Director Mary anytime we come or go. They have been super accommodating with our busy schedules and are wonderful people. They call immediately if theres an incident or an injury and keep us up to date on all his activities with their daily report in the app. We appreciate the open communication. We recommend Sunshine House in Little Elm to anyone looking for child care!

I wouldnt bring my children anywhere else! My infant son is so well taken care of. I love that the teachers actually interact with them and work on different skills rather then just meeting basic needs. They always go above and beyond!My older son has been going here since he was six weeks old and he is now almost 9. Sunshine house has always been like a second home to our boys and I feel like they are apart of our family.

Staff is always nice and friendly. Love the app you can download on your phone to see what food and activities your child did that day. Also love the photos and/or video that get posted to my kids profile on the app.

My son has gone here for many years. He loves it! I trust the teachers to take great care of him and provide fun learning experiences. Not a high turnover like most other places.

Absolutely love the daycare. Everyone is so attentive. My infant daughter is in the infant room. Ms. Stephanie is always addressing any concerns I have. I also have a school age and she loves the facility. The teachers are great with any concerns I may have. My daughter loves Ms. Farren and I don’t plan on taking my kids anywhere else.

I love working at the Sunshine House ! Ive been here for over a year and I love coming to work everyday to see all my sweet babies in the Infant Two classroom!

My two boys attended this location for several years. The teachers were fantastic and very attentive, especially the infant room teachers. I know that when my children were in their care, they were very well taken care of! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure each child is learning and growing. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for child care in the little elm area!

I absolutely love this daycare they really take care of you and your kids needs and they make you feel like family! My son loves going so much that he hates having to leave his teachers and friends. The staff is so amazing and patient with you and your children, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good hands to watch over your children!! Being a 1st time mother and being scared to leave my child in others hands was so hard, but the amazing staff has always given us such a safe feeling knowing our son is safe and learning!!

We give our school 5 stars!!!!! We are so blessed to be a part of this SSHA family!!!! My two children attend the Sunshine House Academy of Little Elm. My oldest daughter started in the 2yr old Explorers class, now in the 3yr old Preschool class, and my youngest daughter started at 6weeks in the infant room and now almost 1years old. The Management team keeps me in the know, keeps the school running efficiently, and takes care of my needs as a parent who wants my children to be in a clean, safe, loving, and educational environment. The staff of teachers, my children’s personal teachers, and the others we come in contact with, have shown dedication to making me and my family, most importantly my children; feel welcome, special, loved, important, and do a fabulous job of helping my children grow academically, socially, and physically, and have fun too! I enjoy using the Sunshine House App! It informs me of my child’s day, what they ate, when they slept, what activities they are doing, and I love when I get pictures and videos too! Thank you to Ms.Faren and the entire Sunshine House family for making my family’s Early Education experience a positive one!!!! We love you!!

My baby has been going there since 3 months old and he is 18 months now. He loves the staff and they have a great learning program.

My daughter has been there since she was 8 weeks old...shes now 4. We love The Sunshine House. I feel like she is being taken care of and learning constantly everyday. The Pre-K program is great and i feel she will be ready for next year.

I am overwhelmed at the love this staff gives my daughter Riley and Skylar!!! Riley has been going here since she was in the infant room and now she is in the 2’s class! Mrs. Faren and Mrs. Mary do an amazing job running this center and are amazing care givers. They have parties, events, curriculum Nights so you can see what they are working on and much more! Mrs. Kylee my daughters teacher is literally the daycare teacher you pray for. From everything to go learning, fun and a lots of love is what you will find when you come to the Sunshine house. Thank you for loving my 2 daughters the way y’all do! This single Mom wouldn’t know what to do without you!

I have two children attending. To be honest the majority of the staff is great. I really like the Directors and the care givers in the baby rooms. Miss Stephanie, Xandria, Ebony, and Kyndra adore my son and he adores them. Its like leaving him with family. However, I wish that room was completely carpeted as my son has had a couple of busted lips from falling on the tile. I absolutely love their app which informs you of all the daily activities that your child is involved in which includes occasional videos and pics. The care givers in the baby room are good about updating the information and they shared some the most wonderful pics of my son; not so much in my daughters class age 2. Sometimes its updated sometimes not and its not always correct. I dont love not receiving feed back when I inquire about daughter because of lack of information or misinformation that was posted on the app. I also can not appreciate being informed of activities my child is displaying in an accusatory manner when she does not behave that way at home. Especially, when it can be a result of lack of supervision since my child often comes home in the extra clothes that are put in her backpack in case of accidents. Yet she manages to stay in one outfit all day at home. I would love to give the Sunshine House 5 stars but the busted lips and attitude of a certain caregiver is off putting. I will say this, the staff cleans and disinfects the facility everyday. They also have extra curricular actives on campus.

Someone anonymously reported a teacher dragging my son by the arm in the park. The school never mentioned it to me.I was sent a letter 2 months after the investigation was unfound. The Investigator told me she saw the teacher grab him on video, but not drag him. The investigator also said the video was blury and skipping.Police report filed.

Staff is great and very attentive. Love how they include the family in center activities.

My child has attend SH for almost 3 yrs. The only reason she has been there this long is b/c they open at 6:15 am. My child is school age the issues I have with this center is the school age side.There is a lack of attention. The teachers do not pay attention enough.Multiple times I have walked in the classroom and the teacher or teachers have no idea I just walked in.The staffing changes keep getting worse and worse. I can hear teachers yelling at the kids outside the class room.(Two women teachers) Teachers are sitting down or on the floor sitting, were there not able to see the full class.NOT ACCEPTABLE to me as parent,who trust them with my child.I dont know if this review will change anything,but upper management needs to pay attention to whats going on in the school age classrooms.No parent should ever walk into a childcare facility and no one acknowledge them.Teach these teachers your hiring to be more aware!!!The teachers in the morning when I drop off are awesome.Ms. Faren does a good job listening to any complaints of concerns, but I feel like there is so much she can do. She cantt be every were. She should be able to trust her staff to do a good job and represent SH in a proper way.Right now they dont(School age)

Horribly disorganized, kids complain of spiders and bugs in the grass. Management can’t communicate to the parents and you find out information about what they can and can’t bring from the children. I highly recommend finding another care facility in the area.

Danger zone and parents worest nightmare. Its the worst daycare in the world. The director is very rude and uneducated. The worest thing is that she lies about everything. Staffs are inexperienced.
