My daughter had tried many other dance schools when we learned about Deborah. She instantly fell in love! Deborah runs her own professional dance company and she treats her students (from elementary school to high school) as artistic collaborators. In each class, students learn and practice different dance movements. Then, working in small groups, students put these movements together in their own choreography. Deborah takes students vision seriously, and as a result, her students blossom. The end of the year performance is truly a work of art. Choreography, costumes, sets (all created in collaboration with the students) are delightful and dazzling. And in 2020, when the pandemic made an in-person performance off-limits, Deborah invited students to work on (and film) choreography at home; then she edited it all together into a professional quality video that I will treasure forever!

My two daughters have danced with Deborah for a few years, and I cant say enough good things about her. She has a wonderful way of speaking to the kids -- very kind, constructive, and positive. My girls love that they get to participate in collaboratively choreographing during every class. Highly recommend!

My oldest (now 10) has been taking dance with Deborah since she was in first grade. Deborah has such a gift in teaching dance, especially with children. She fosters a connection and confidence in the physical body that as a mother I am so very appreciative. In a time of over focus on the image, Deborah allows the girls to gain confidence in their abilities and she knows just what type of support and encouragement each child needs. She is truly gifted. One other unique difference from other dance schools is that Deborah herself leads all the classes! I encourage you to come to one class or be sure to come to the recital to get a sense of the magic this amazing woman creates!

Ive been taking Deborahs classes since I was 9 years old...Im now 27! Her technique, creativity and inspiration have kept me dancing through the years. Truly a gem!
