I have had 3 grand kids attend VRE (one currently). All 3 with different educational needs- G&T, dyslexia or on autism spectrum. Staff and teachers have been phenomenal in each case. Cannot stress enough how helpful and caring everyone is at this school.

Ive been nothing but impressed with this schools professionalism for the past four years that my daughter has been attending here. The teachers are amazing. I have been very happy with all of them. I like how there are frequent pre recorded updates that are sent to you by phone. The school is also very clean too.

My friend tried to bring her kids here and they were awful with them, terrible. She had a special needs child that was treated poorly. She ended up having to homeschool. Terrible, her special needs child came home crying from the horrible experience. Very low class school

You know that we all have had good and bad experiences with our walks in LIFE. But I must say that my experience with this school have been great. The teachers are good and the ESD program is great. One thing I will add is that teaching begins at home and we should NOT trouble our EDUCATORS with issues that should be addressed at home. My son has been here for a few years and he real enjoys the school. So keep in mind dont think that when things are not going your way with the school(s). It’s not necessary to blame the teachers or the principals for your controllable at home!

I can’t say enough great things about the leadership and teaching staff at VRE...Ms. Garrett is phenomenal. My child has gone from a first grader who can not even read at grade level to a 2nd grader that reads 2 levels above grade level in a matter of 2 years at this school. The staff are amazing and I wouldn’t take my child to any other school in the school district if you paid me to!!

Great teaching staff! Mrs. Carnes, Mrs. Coe, Mrs. Dawes are rock stars! Older school that could use a face lift (and bigger parking lots!)

I went to this school when I was little now im at the middle school lets go jaguars OMG the picture of the choir is so old Cuz im in there im the little black child with their hair down on the left and so are my friends I feel ask led i was 9 in that picture and I was so little im now 14 going on 15 way taller and way more athletic XD
