Love the school. Currently a junior here and Ive been here since freshman year. Easy to make friends no matter who you are. Great teachers and staff, activities and much more.

Do not go here, its as simple as that. Complete lack of motivation from students and teachers alike. Its a complete mess everywhere. Hope you never need to enter the restrooms or locker rooms. Hope to God you arent a magnet student because transportation is a nightmare if you rely on the bus. In a magnet student and there have been more than ten instances where my bus never showed up and it effected my attendance. Just recently my bus didnt show up and they just told us to call our parents without thought of what if theyre unavailable. If you care about your education or even your wellbeing for that matter, do NOT attend this school.

One of the worst schools I ever been to. Those who mark this school a 3 star or above have never been to a good school. The lack of motivation in this school is just unbelievable, most of the students seem not to care about their education and are there just to see there friends and goof off while disrupting the teachers. Not to mention the teachers, especially the physical ed teachers, all they do is play on their iPads and talk to other teachers while maybe some kid is getting a beat down in front of them. What really got me to write this review is the restrooms. The abomination they call restroom has no mirrors, broken stall locks, graffiti on the walls and floors literary filled with urine and feces.

Once a Jaguar, Always a Jaguar! A very welcoming place.. Everyone has a lot of spirit... something that is very hard to find in other schools... unfortunately I only attended 9th and 10th grade but definitely a great experience. The staff is awesome and everyone is pretty cool... What I loved and miss the most is that you can walk the hallways without feeling any stress at all... The environment was the best someone will always be there to help you out and make you feel at home.

Is a good school really my teachers are really nice and they really do seem to care about every students education. Two of the only problems I have though is lunch and the staff. The staff is so rude and disrespectful they really dont seem like they like kids and are just being mean for the fun of it. Ive had staff being mean to me and then laugh it off with another staff member and I it was for no reason at all. And some of the deans are soo full of themselves even if you did nothing wrong theyll go to great strengths to prove you did. And then the lunch my first and second year they let kids go out in lunch and come back. At least thats what I thought since they never stopped me or other kids but now they do and threatened them with suspension. Is there something so wrong about that? I dont get it. In my first year I was a loner and often found comfort walking around getting lunch at a store and then coming back before the bell rings for class. If there is something so wrong about it make an announcement or something.And back again with the staff the p.e teachers or at least the males are soo mean and gross they dont care at all and just sit outside judging every kid once in photography they made these 3 kids who were goofing around to jumping jacks in front of them and told me to get out of there and take pictures elsewhere. Theres a math teacher there who makes you feel like you are the dumbest kid alive. The students it depends I feel so sorry for you if you get a class full of loud kids who disrespects everyone including the teacher trust me you will at least have 1 or 2 classes like that.

My sister goes desert pines and she says she always has fun and there is a lot of nice teachers and a lot of nice friends there if you want to come home happy then you should go to desert pines high school

As a student currently attending Desert Pines, the rotc students at this school are very warm and welcoming... Any other group of students not so much. The Bathrooms are covered in graffiti, one out of the five girls bathrooms are available and sometimes the toilet paper isnt even stocked for ANY of the stalls. The sinks are broken and sometimes spray onto the floors in big puddles leaving anyone vulnerable to the risk of slipping. Not only are they broken but set to such an extremely hot temperature to where you have to pull your hands in and out of the water when washing them.I cant say all the staff is terrible because the latina receptionist in the office has been a real sweetheart but some of the staff will go to great lengths just to make your day a living hell saying cruel and snide comments to the students. In my opinion IF YOU DONT LIKE KIDS, DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.

I go here and your better off going somewhere else.

This was my sons 2nd year attending DP. Not had problems up until now. School police slammed my sons face into the ground and busted his front teeth out. I guess because hes black, hes a threat....this was VERY excessive, especially since my son has never been in trouble before. I pulled him out of school, and Im home-schooling now. This is unfortunate, because my son is an athlete...now he cant participate in these sports because I dont feel hes safe with the bully ass school police. SMH #lawyeredup

Yall my whole family loved this school so I say 5/5

One star cause I cant give negative FIVE -- This school knows about the violence and gang activity on campus and does NOTHING!!This young man has gone to staff and supervisors multiple times and THIS is the result!! The government says we MUST send our kids to school....Well then the Government should take its job as protector of our children a bit more serious!!

I called to ask a question about adult education and the administrative office lady was very rude. Couldnt tell me any information. Only reason I called this school, was because it was mentioned on the website of adult education.

Went here for high school. Its a complete joke. Just like the education system in Nevada and Clark County.
