Just tried a free trial class. The instructor was awesome very good knowledge and explains the drills very well. His students were very accommodating and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Came in from out of town to train BJJ... 15/10!!! Great instructor, great people to roll with. Very good learning atmosphere. My kids also do BJJ and I was able to watch their kids program here waiting for the adult class to start - I would definitely bring my kids here if I lived locally as well.

The owner Steve and his coaches create such a family culture that its so fun to see our daughter enjoy her class and classmates both in and out of class. My family and I found our way into Odins Halls after searching for a family friendly training facility. Immediately were met with warmth and a welcome spirit. My children I attend their classes daily. It’s one of the best vibes I’ve felt in BJJ gym. They are clean and organized as well as safe as possible during these times. One of the best decisions I ever made was coming to this school. Odins Halls BJJ is one of the best Jiu Jitsu schools in Las Vegas. I have been training here for about a month now and every class has been educational, inspiring and most importantly, fun. The instructors here are very knowledgeable and enjoy working with all the students. The owner, Steve, is awesome! You can tell he loves what he does and it shows in his students. Learning something new is always a little scary, especially when it involves simulating a potential conflict or learning how to defend yourself. Its even more intimidating as a female walking into a room full of dudes who all clearly know way more about any of this than you do, have been doing it a lot longer than you have, and outweigh you by 75 pounds on average.This place is great at making sure that you a) feel comfortable interacting with people and b) feel welcome in an otherwise unfamiliar environment.Ive only been coming two months, but my plan is to keep coming because what I learn in here will keep me safe out there.Also you totally lose like 5 pounds every class from sweating so hard and thats kind of amazing.

We found Odin’s Halls a few months ago and both my husband and daughter joined up. It was amazing to me how instantly we became part of the family. Coach Steve and coach Joe are the best of the best. They genuinely have a passion for what they do and are incredible teachers for our daughter. They make class so fun for the kids and give the one on one time that is needed to insure the moves are executed perfectly. The amount of support and encouragement they give every child or adult who steps on that mat is amazing.

As a parent, I highly recommend this Jiu Jitsu gym! My son has been going here for about a year and a half, and it’s been a great experience. Coach Steve is always there, and he is an amazing instructor; he is super patient and encouraging with all of the kids. My son loves him and coach Joe, the wrestling instructor! This gym is like a big family, and it’s a beautiful thing to watch the kids learn and grow together in an environment that encourages respect, discipline, hard work and cooperation. Odin’s Hall’s is an absolutely wonderful place to train. The coaching is at a very high level, but Steve Ficca is able to break it down in to easily understandable segments. The whole of the coaching staff is great. They are patient, and very encouraging. Their work on kids classes is phenomenal. Coach Joe is phenomenal with the kids, and always has them doing high level things, with a smile and a laugh. Odin’s Hall’s is truly a wonderful place for the whole family!

A good family owned business. Coach Steve and his staff were initially great with my 7 year old daughter. She trained for about 15 months and her confidence increased. The coaches started paying her less and less attention when she didn’t want to compete in tournaments and the criteria kept changing for her to get her next belt. They’re great if you want to go the competition route, not so much otherwise.

Ive been going to Odins Hall for about a year; it is a fantastic place to get in a workout and learn BJJ. Odins Hall offers excellent BBJ instruction. The coaching staff are all very knowledgeable and work with you to increase your ability on the mat.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give this a rating of infinity. You could take up running, the whole purpose of which is to travel in a circle only to end up where exactly you started. You could take up weight training, an activity which mainly consists of lifting heavy objects for 30 seconds then spending five minutes in between getting a drink of water and staring at your muscles in the mirror to see if theyve gotten any bigger. Or you can learn the greatest sport in the world...jiu jitsu. You dont to jump high or have any special genetics. All can be good at jiu jitsu. Big or small. Male of Female. Jiu jitsu always gives back whatever you put into it. And Odins Halls is a top notch atmosphere. Great coaches. Great kids and adult programs. Flexible schedule. Odins Halls has both gi and no-gi classes. Some people prefer one or the other and many do both. They even have kickoboxing and fitness classes. Whatever youre looking for, Odins Halls Jiu Jitsu probably has it.

Amazing culture. Was really a pleasure to train there during my visit to Vegas. The entire school was very warm and welcoming. I was thoroughly impressed with how the kids class was run and the amount the kids knew. If you are in the Vegas area, this is definitely a school you need to check out!

This is an amazing jujitsu gym. From my first day, Coach Steve made me feel welcome. I have felt my game improve from the minute I joined. My 16-year-old son started attending jiu jitsu classes at Odins Halls BJJ in June. He was missing competitive sports and needed an outlet for physical activity. The prices are extremely competitive and my son loves going every single day. But what he found at this gym was more than either of us expected. He not only found a new passion for MMA, he found incredible mentors and friends. I cannot say enough great things about Steve Feeka and his academy, Odins Halls. I found Steve through the Members of BJJ Globetrotters network and he made our visit to the west coast effortless and loads of fun when it came finding somewhere to train. Steve is a very passionate, attentive and knowledgeable Professor. You can tell how much his students love and respect him the minute you walk in the door, and you can also see the care that he has for them resonating back. During classes, Steve goes to each group one by one and gives thorough feedback to make sure everyone understands the move being taught in class. This is something I never see done enough when it comes to Professors and teaching. The facility is super clean, and a warm and welcoming vibe with all the students - I cant wait to come back again!

My daughter loves her classes and her coach. Steve is very patient with all of the kids and makes learning new skills fun, not like a chore. I have trained at several different BJJ schools and traditional martial arts schools over the past 30+ years. Odins Halls has been one of the most positive training experiences that I have ever had. Coach Steve (the owner) is one of the best instructors I have ever trained with. He has a great teaching style with well thought out curriculum. The class formats/schedule make training enjoyable. If you are new to BJJ I think this school is an excellent choice. There is a really positive atmosphere and a lot of great training partners. I see a lot of families training together and a lot of growth in the school. I can speak from experience that it can be really hard to step out and join a new program or activity. I would recommend Odins Halls if you are about to begin training for the first time or getting back to training.

Let me start by saying I have never taken the time to write a review in the past. I am currently 50 Yrs old and married to a brazilian woman who has trained for many years. I also have trained on and off for over 10 years with a few world famous grapplers and participated in athletics in many forms. I have known great athletes and fighters who had no teaching ability and others who could fake it pretty well. Steve is not only a great athlete but he may be one of the best instructors I have every trained under. His patients technique and his ability to explain and demonstrate even complicated movements is second to none. I would strongly recommend giving his gym or any class that he is involved in a try. Be it yourself your spouse or your child you could not make a better choice. At the risk of being long winded whether you want to utilize his years of knowledge to become a world class competitor, get into shape or just give something new a try trust me when I tell -- you give it a shot!

A little over a month ago I made one of the best decisions to start training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. First trained with Steve back whrn he was in NJ. Im a big guy 66 not everyones favorite guy to roll with. Within my first few classes I was hooked. Steve knew exactly how to switch up training movements to not let my size be a disadvantage on the ground. While switching right back with the rest of the class. His knowledge of martial arts, boxing and weightlifting really inspired me to make changes. Now Im in a lot better shape and cant wait to get to vegas and train with the best!
