My son loves it there and the place teaches the little ones important lessons. The owner and main coach is really nice as well

I am 51 and wanted to challenge myself both physically and mentally. I have been having a lot of fun while working hard. Master Hamm and Sensei Chris are outstanding instructors.

I transferred to train under Sensei Hamm after two dojos within a different organization, closed down. I needed good instruction, stability, and an instructor who is geninuely vested in the goals of the student. Sensei Hamm has far exceeded my expectations. Plus, he has a great sense of humor, and while working us hard, makes every class fun.

Ive been training with Mike since I was 7 years old. He has been a phenomenal martial arts instructor, and has helped boost my confidence in myself as well as my ability to defend myself. On top of that Mike takes genuine interest in his students and relates to them in ways that are truly authentic. Ten Tigers isnt just a dojo, its a family.

Ive been learning under Mike Hamm since I was 6 years old. Hes a fantastic instructor, that wont only teach you martial arts, but also teach you discipline. I remember him having us bring in our homework to make sure we were doing it every day. As a child it was awesome going to the kids classes and meeting new friends. Today as we speak Im still friends with a lot of kids from back then. Now in the adult classes he pushes us and gives us a fantastic workout every class. He customizes his teachings to help you if you have any disabilities or any ailments. Hes an amazing instructor. I recommend everyone to try it out once. You may fall in love with the martial arts just like I did :)

I love that there are so many other women at this school. Especially on Tuesdays :) The male students are all quite friendly and respectful but theres just something about having other girls around to relate to that makes classes more fun. Mr Hamm is great! He makes all of our classes relevant and practical and is great at modifying techniques to work for smaller people like me. I definitely recommend Ten Tigers!

Did a several weeks trial there for my son and myself. The driving distance and construction limited our ability to make it there as often as we wanted, however impressive school and great folks. A very good place to study and train for adults and kids alike.

Another beautiful part of Ten Tigers is their open-minded acceptance of the contribution of multiple forms of martial arts and their integration of guest instructors into their practice. I have known the Ten Tigers instructors for over 20 years (MH) and 16 years (GB) and I personally wouldnt send my friends, family or children anywhere else.

I started training at Ten Tigers a year ago and have been going solid ever since. This is a great dojo and Sensei Hamm does a great job taking care of students at all levels. I love that Sensei Hamm follows the whatever works mentality when it comes to self defense. Lots of schools teach students certain techniques and expect the students to use only those techniques in the real world, but thats not how the real world works. Sensei Hamm recognizes this and makes sure that students learn not only good techniques, but also the ability to improvise as necessary using basic skills learned from those techniques and daily training and do whatever works in a real work situation.

Mr. Hamm is a great instructor and extremely knowledgeable in the martial arts. Hes extremely patient with children and also has the ability to teach engaging lessons to adults.
