My son went there for 2 1/2 years and we loved it! Dr. Ellis is involved, approachable, and caring. My son had tremendous teachers who went beyond expectations. Not only is the academic teaching up to par, but they place just as much importance on kindness, respect, and attitude.

This place is okay I love it when I was in second grade. I love the teachers but my classmates always talk and they seem to hate me. Every day they look at what I am doing and make fun of it and spread the word around. lately they had done less of it but every mounth or so there had been a food fight in the cafeteria. honestly the only reason why I am still here is because I have 2 really good friends and my good teachers

I love this school!! It has helped me through my learning problems in math and made it really fun!! We love new students and are all friends. My favorite thing about this school is the teachers because they are respectful,kind and most of all fun!!! I go there and this is my second to last year and I am going to miss everyone so much!!!! This is a great school and now they take a lot of there time and effort to protect us at all times. They have put more thought to the bully incidents and relive truly that it is unexceptionable. I have been bullied and they take full responsibly for these actions. This school now states it in there law rules that bullying is not allowed and if kids bully they will be punished imminently!! I can have a safe education at ober and a lot of fun too!!!

Ever since Ive lived in the Willows people line the sides of the street on Desert Marigold Lane, parking illegally (the street is well-signed) in order to drop off and pick up their children each day and participate in sporting events at the Willows Park. Ive seen many narrow misses as parents and children open car doors into oncoming traffic and move out from between parked vehicles into the road. Its only a matter of time before there is a serious accident. Unfortunately neither the local police nor the school administrators have been responsive in addressing this issue. I hope it doesnt take a seriously injured parent or child to get these parking regulations enforced.

I went to Ober from Kindergarten to 5th grade, and I can honestly say that after my 3rd grade year, the school went downhill. All of the good teachers left, and the principal I had was just awful at her job. Luckily, the principal has since left, but one of the most amazing teachers, Mr. Leamy, who basically gave the school its good name, has since left. Because of that reason and some of the staff the school chooses to employ, I would not recommend sending your children here.

Its a great school it right me and out number of wonderful and useful things I highly reccomend

My son who is 5 years old walked right out of the school during lunch on monday and no one saw this happen until someone found him on Count Deiro and Hualapai and brought him back to the school. Thank God! I would really like to know who this person was so I can thank them for saving my sons life.

40 kids in my childs 4th grade classroom is RIDICULOUS, my child was beaten and kicked by two siblings in his class- while the teacher was THERE! The assistant principle and Principle lied and assured me they would get help for the neglect the teacher Karen MILOVICH- subjected my child too. Still waiting for and assitant for this so called teacher- then to be told :I was never advised EXACTLY when they would add the help!?!? Really?!I will fight this, The teacher nor the principle deserve their position.

My daughter start her first kindergarten in OES.her kindergarten teacher was amazing and nice. Now shes in first grader still in OES the principal was very nice and her first grader teacher is very nice too.

Was a student there before and I liked it, but the administration ignores bully notifications :(

At third grade year thats this year its the best and I have a teacher named me.lazootin she is pregnant

Im Curtis daughter and Im in 5th grade at ober. I loved my teacher Mrs.Adrover but she had to move to Austin,Texas which I was really sad but then my class got a new teacher named miss.bellpasso. I love my new teacher sooo much!!!

I do not like this school im in middle school now but my library teacher is terrible my 5th grade teacher was bad and so mean

My daughter just completed 2 years at Ober, 4th and 5th grade. The principle seems amazimg and is willing to put on silly costumes, work the snack shack for the students at lunch and always willing to talk to the parents. The vice principle also seemed amazing but I believe she is moving on to become a principle somewhere for 2016. I have never had an issues with the front staff and the music teacher Mr Leamy is just amazing and inspires every kid. I volunteered to help my daughters classroom every Friday morning so I was in that school a lot.PLEASE PLEASE PARENTS !! Bring teachers supplies (ask them what they need every 3 months). And please ask the teacher if there is anything you can do to help her. Bring her lunch. Anything! They truely need help and supplies. If you have a weekday morning you can get off work take it and help them if your teacher needs it.But, this school would be right back to a 10 rating if they found a leader or support for the PTA. They do ok now, I am certain someone is trying their best with the limited support from parents and school. Parents and school seek out the PTA and donate money to have better Halloween events, etc.Secondly, communication was a little off. Some teachers communicated well others not. Sometimes flyers came home the day before or the day after an event.Ps. That bronze statue out front of the little girl was made by Dvorre Ober. Hall and Dvorre Ober built Desert Shores in the lake 80, s and the lakes are named after their grandchildren. Lake Linsey lake jaquilinne etc. They apparently also put A LOT of their money they made back into the community.we are off to Sig Rogich Middle School!
