I was a student a while back in 2019-2020 when covid hit. My experience was horrid but decent. My 3rd grade was good until it hit 4th grade. My teacher was rude and never had helped me when I needed it. I simply went on with bullying myself because I was treated poorly by other kids because I didn’t know as much because I was struggling.That’s until my 5th grade teacher Mr.Stefano. I learned way more even if I didn’t get it he would help. I felt way more comfortable around him then my 4th grade teacher. He was automatically the best teacher i’ve ever had in the magnet program. Even through the first Covid locked down I was doing decent during it because it was nice to have a healthy school environment even during then. He was a good teacher.

This school was amazing all the teachers were fair the lunch food was actually edible.

I knew the man whom was the namesake of this school. I didnt know he was honored once again, but thrilled to hear these reviews from students and parents alike as Mr. Piggott deserves to be remembered with honor and he would love to know he has continued to have a positive impact on childrens lives! He was my high school psychology teacher back in 1973. Never will I forget the events in Mr. Piggotts life or the how he made a positive contribution in my life! God bless him and his family!

I went to this school from 1st through 3rd grade and this school meant everything to me. From the friends I made, to the teachers I had, even the janitor Mr. Dibble! I am now in 6th and I wish I was back there everyday. I highly recommend this school!

This school was the best years ever and I loved the principal and the office ladies. The teachers are all nice(11 months ago).(Now) The people their made me a better person. I am back in 7th grade and everyday I wish I was back at Piggott with the amazing Mr. Hudzick and the lovely staff. That school gave me the best years of my life. I had the most fun ever there when I first went to Piggott in Kindergarten and it was even harder leaving it. Highly recommended school to go to. Enjoy it when you have it. This school should be a 5 star school.

My daughter went to this school from 1st to 4th grade she loved the school. The teachers all seemed nice. The principal was very engaged with the children and you could tell he was someone who put his heart into the school. She doesnt go there this year and she is sad to have left her friends but she never stops talking about her time there.

I loved Piggott! It is an amazing school and the staff were amazing! I was so sad when I had to leave. I always think about it and look back on the yearbooks. I would suggest this school for anyone.

Can I just give this school a 10 star rating? I have 2 kids here and I absolutely love the staff and the teachers. Mrs. Hunt and Mr. Hudzik are the most involved leaders in school that I have ever seen. I know that one of the head CCSD admins stated it being a very close knit and unique school.Most of the teachers communicate and respond on a daily basis, if you are that involved, but that is up to you on what type of parent you are. Another thing here is, they have so many activities for the kids with the PTA and fundraising, it is so much fun! The only negative I have had out of this school is that there is an art teacher here that does not really teach art or let the kids express art as much as he should. I know for a fact that he is very stingy in giving out good grades for his ART class. But I wont ding the school for his behavior!

Piggott is the best ever..my kids love this school.. I like the principal, teachers & the office.. they are so professional.. The most part that I like is my kids have homework every day so that keeps them busy...

Ive been here seance 1st grade and loved Mrs scrivo, great food,and staff all nice.But now i am in 4th grade and food nasty example pizza so dry and greasy just like us drinking milk?Also we have RUDE staff members that yell at us and dont treat us the way we wanted to be TREATED.And last thing 5th graders and 3rd graders so rude like they act like 1st graders and treat the school wrong please change this thanks.

I miss the school sm I went here from 3 grade to half of 4 grade my 4 grade teacher was not the best but MRS CUSHMAN IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER I went here before it became a magnet school I loved it also safekey was the best they would always give us food and stuff i made amazing friends here 💞💞

Bad experience for our grandson. Moved him out. Bullies, and teachers who have their own children attending that can do as they damn well please.

This school was good but Mr. Stefano made it amazing. I cannot express how much he improved me as a person. Kindergarten through 4th was alright and the teachers were nice but let me tell you, if you get Mr. Stefano for 5th grade you will be surprised with how he focuses on each student and can really prepare you for middle school. If I was giving the slightest hint of sadness or anger he would talk to me and literally solved every one of my problems. Dont be fooled when he tries to scare you in 4th grade because youll realize within a week that hes one of the best teachers in the school. I usually talked in class a lot but by the time of 5th grade he genuinely made me quiet because I was interested in what he had to say and made lessons interesting. Lots of kids were scared for middle school but he made it seem like a breeze (which it was.) If I could, Id go back to 5th grade and go through middle school all over again just to go to that class for 1 more year. It really makes me miss Piggott.

Challenging hard bad. I had to do work all day long I am tired doing all the work with math and reading all day long and I get sleepy doing all the work I would go to Bonner instead. And yesterday I got banned by water bottle flipping at recess and recess is play time so you can do anything that you want to do so I dont like piggott so much well good thing is I dont have to wake up so early but at Bonner I have to wake up early still hate piggott

I went to this school before, the food sucked, one of their microwaved artificial burritos fell on the floor and the picked it up put back in the packet and served it to me, I told them that it fell on the floor and the did not care and I ended up starving the entire day. I recommend to not go to this school

I went to piggott 3 years ago and it was way better when I was in second grade they where 5 star school and when I left they went all the way too two stars and now they took down the tether ball Polls to add more class rooms and so they can go IB

Honesty one of the worst schools my child went to and she has been to a lot of schools over the state very dirty and the staff are very mean very disrespectful and very rude
