My son and both daughters attended Indian Rock Christian. My son just graduated. I see all the comments about bullying but we have NEVER been a witness to any of that. My son was very involved in the sports and did well academically. The coaches were awesome at training these kids not only to do their best but to honor God while doing it. While no school is perfect I definitely RECOMMEND this school as they do care about your kids. They teach them that their are consequences for their actions. This school welcomes any child but they do need to show respect or they will be disciplined and some people cant deal with that. Well worth our money and I would do it again! !

Great school! All four of my boys are receiving a quality Christ centered education. They have an amazing athletic department. The teachers are caring and loving! Great school!

Our family was so blessed to be a part of the IRCS family! Academic excellence with big campus facilities and small school atmosphere! Asking the Lord to lead the way, the staff knows when to befriend the students and when to be the benevolent authority. The students are all able to experience first class sports, amazing fine arts, extra-curricular clubs, and service to others through international travel during the missions week held each spring. Students grow up knowing they are loved and that their lives have purpose and meaning and that God wants to use them now and after graduation!

This school dosent even deserve a star! All they care about is money. There is so much bullying happening and no one cares. The principal and teachers don’t care about any of their students. There supposed to be a Christian school but instead there the opposite. I would not recommend this school.

I have a 5 year old son that has been going to Indian Rocks since he turned 3. I can’t say enough good about this school from the location to administrators to the excellent teachers it makes me so happy to have him here learning about God and getting the best education in all of Pinellas County until he graduates high school. Keep being great IRCS and thank you!

This school is beyond amazing. Great staff and a well-rounded group of leaders and students. The youtube fans commenting negative things is all here-say.

We have two children at IRCS and have been a part of the school for almost 4 years now. We cant say enough good things about this school, from the education our children are receiving to how warm the entire staff is, from faculty up to the administration. We are reluctant to ever more out of the area because we do not think there are many other private K-12 schools available in Florida that come close to the experience at IRCS.

I’m so blessed to be attending this school. I haven’t felt more loved before.

Im using my cousins account for privacy reasons however, I do go to Indian Rocks and I strongly urge you to consider sending your child here. The teachers and staff are amazing and care about everyone as if we are their own children. If you are looking for an exceptional school with an accepting environment I strongly encourage setting up a tour. At our school we had drama with a young lady and her mother. They made a youtube video for their hundreds of thousands of fans too see releasing our schools name to everyone talking about their problems with the school. As a result, their fans have decided to post ratings on our schools google page. Our schools rating use to be a 4.5 but now it has dropped. You can tell they are not genuine ratings with the terrible grammar and immature comments.Normally I do not comment on things but this is absolutely ridiculous. My high school years are coming to an end and I could not imagine going anywhere else.

Horrible school there is so much bullying going on in the school. The school does not care about students. Everyone is very rude. Two of my kids went there and both got bullied and when we went to the dean he did nothing. One of our kids even become depressed over this. Do not go to this school so many people have bad experiences!!!

The school is just a great environment to be in. The staff and teachers are so caring and friendly. I also feel the tuition is very reasonable compared to other Christian schools, the facilities are excellent and there are a tons of actives for the kids to be involved in. I look forward to my kids graduating from IRCS in the years to come

The Indian Rocks Christian School community is like an incredible family that surrounds, supports, and nurtures my kids as well as the rest of our family. Moving to the USA was a hard move for us, but IRCS eased the transition for my 3 children - they made life-long friends, solidified their faith and my sons are achieving their sporting dreams. I have one graduate who is playing football at college and loving his academic coursework, another in high school who lives to wrestle and play football, and a daughter in the Elementary school who gets amazing academic support from her teachers as well as tutors from the high school tutoring program who encourage her and are great role models for her. I would recommend IRCS to any parent looking for a warm, safe, fun and challenging environment for their children.

Very Un christian like school. It deserces o stars at all. Instead of kicking out the bully you kick out the victim. what kind of school does that?? i go to a catholic school and atleast they do a great job with dealing with bullying unlike this trashy school. Do you even know what they did to her during school THEY FREAKING THREW SOMETHING AT HER DURING BREAK TIME AND SAID BAD STUFF PLUS CURSE WORDS . If you see their videos you can tell she was depressed lately because of the drama. now youre gonna kick out her little sister too that has nothing to do with this. pathetic . You should understand that the each part of the story not just the jealous girls part and you call yourself a christian school 😏 you dont deserve to even be a school . isnt a school suppose to be a fun/educational place where we can make friends? where we can get away from problems at home? our second home? atleast try to do something about bullying because it just isnt right i nearly killed myself for being bullied see what it can do to a person.ps: for parents that say they never witnessed bullying in this school youre probably wrong because from what a girl experienced lately they did nothing about the bullying except for expelling the victim of bullying instead of the bully itself

My child has attended IRCS going on 3 years now and I am a proud parent who can honestly and proudly say that I have never witness the non sense that is mentioned in recent reviews about racism and bullying here at Indian Rocks Christian.(Just not true). As an African American parent, it was important for me to find for my child a christian based school that is safe, enriched in academics, and with a diversity in faculty and staff. I searched for what is important concerning my childs education. The teachers here are loving, communicative, and cares about the educational growth in every child no matter the race. The faculty have in place high expectations for each child on and off campus. Parents and children are made aware of the consequences for any misconduct. Indian Rocks is College Prep school with a wonderful community that nurtures a real love for learning. Staff and faculty are highly engaged, welcoming to parents, and communicative about expectations. They also go the extra distance to address concerns and help all students reach their full potential. Teachers asigns a lot of home work, however, my child find it engaing and is performing very well. Her teachers do a great job monitoring homework and academic expectations. The combination of amazing teachers, motivated students, and a diverse safe environment makes IRCS one of the best schools in the U.S. (ranked accordingly). See it for yourself! And NO! Im not a staff member of IRCS writing this review, Just a proud parent with a child that is receiving all the friuts that IRCS is offering her. Thank you God for this school!!!!

This is my daughters first year at IRCS. Shes in 8th grade. Previously she attended Safety Harbor Montessori, Country Day School, then public school. I pulled her out of the cocoon in her 7th grade year and enrolled her into a public school so she could get a taste of life in the real world. Huge mistake but a great learning experience in retrospect. I could not be happier with the decision to send my daughter to IRCS. She fully appreciates the school, the teachers, and the students. The turn around in one year has been remarkable. IRCS has been a true blessing in our lives.

I am a parent of two children that attend Indian Rocks Christian School. I am also a teacher who taught in public schools throughout the state for 14 years. I was highly skeptical when touring private schools because I had heard so many rumors about private schools not teaching to high standards. While I did witness exactly that as my husband and I toured many other schools in our surrounding area, God kept drawing me back to IRCS. After two years of searching, we decided IRCS was the right fit for our family. Wow! What a blessing it has been! I cannot say enough good things about IRCS! The teachers go above and beyond to help each student be successful and feel special. The other parents work together to help support students, teachers and the school. IRCS offers many family events and student activities in sports as well as the arts. My children continue to grow in their learning about God. We have also joined the church as members and together with IRCS, we strive to raise our children in the Christian faith. I highly recommend IRCS!

This is the first year my kids attend IRCS. My daughter just started in Kindergarten and my son started middle school. I love the fact I can keep them together in one school. Two huge milestones but blessed to have them attend a school so established in a Christian upbringing. I LOVE hearing my daughter recite bible verses as she plays or dances around to a Christian song. I love to see my son happy and enjoying his new school as he would say Public School was boring lol. The staff is friendly and when ever help is needed I am sure I will get it. Very updated with technology, lunches, grades, any info I need at my fingertips. I would also add that my daughters teacher is an angel. Mrs. Cheatham is quick responding any concerns I may have and always letting me know how my baby is doing. I appreciate all she does!! KUDDOS to IRCS and look forward to many years together.

I spent 4th through 12th grade at IRCS. This school has outstanding teachers and staff that truly care for each student. The encouragement, Christ-like attitudes, and mission trip opportunities helped build a solid foundation in my life. After graduation I went off to the best university in the state (FSU). I found myself fully prepared not only for academics, but also was able to continue my walk with the Lord even in a pretty anti-religion atmosphere. Im truly grateful for the foundation that the teachers helped me build during my time at IRCS. I plan on sending my child here once we move back.

I am honored to be an IRCS alumni. My 5 years there from 8th - 12th grade equipped me to succeed academically for college. More importantly, I was introduced to a faith in God through a personal relationship with Him because of the influential people I met and experiences provided by IRCS. From the challenging classes and extracurricular activities to the life-changing moments of the mini-mester weeks and chapels, this school was a great influence for me. I remain grateful to those who work or better put, are called to serve at Indian Rocks Christian School.

When our son divorced, we wanted to make sure their children had a christian foundation and a loving, structured environment during a time of great stress & confusion. Our commitment to put them at IRCS was the result of that concern. When we were away with our business earning the money for tuition, the teachers and staff at IRCS provided them stabiity, prayer support & love in addition to a quality education. I could fill many pages with all the ways the teachers & staff loved, prayed with and nurtured our grandchildren. During many stressful situations, they were there when we werent able to be and how they helped them become the two wonderful kids they are today. I know their parents agree. Our grandson is a junior in college now and our granddaughter is graduating from IRCS next year and she is an honor roll student . There arent enough words to express our gratitude and love for IRCS, its teachers and staff. It is more than a school to us, its part of our family.

Choosing IRCS for our children has been the very best decision we have made towards their education. 2012-2013 was their first year at IRCS. We have had our share of Christian and A-rated Public Schools. We started out at an A-rated Pubic School in Jacksonville. The next year we changed them to a Christian School. The following year we moved to Boca Raton and we placed them in one of the best Christian schools in Boca Raton. The next year we moved to Clearwater and they went to a Christian School there. All of the moves were work related. Our last move was to Indian Rocks Beach because of IRCS and all the great things we had heard about it. Our children have experience a number of Christian schools throughout the state of Florida, and we have to say that IRCS has out shined them all!!!! We have been so happy, felt so welcomed and the kids have adjusted so easily and so quickly here at IRCS! The teachers and the staff are superb!!!!! They are all so loving and so caring, and the communication is outstanding ( the very best we have seen). We are treated more like family than a school. We love IRCS and we plan to keep our children at IRCS until they graduate from High School!
