I have had a great experience with the school until today, I walked my son to class as usual the receptionist already knows I do that, yet this irrelevant staff advised I need to check in, it’s not that she advised me to check in, that I understand it’s the tone she used and not only did several mom walk in with with there kids she choose to only let me know.the receptionist is great and so professional yet that other other lady not even sure who she is was rude and the terrible part is when went with the two other lady’s in front to gossip about the situation in front of me the worse part I think one is the assistant principal!! Terrible and gave me a bad taste in my mouth!! Let’s be professional especially gossiping to another employee!

I was a former student at this school from 3rd to 6th. The last three years I had here were horrible. I was constantly bullied by a group of four students and one of them attempted to fight me. During the last year I was there, I was pushed, stepped on, slapped, and talked down on. I tried telling the teachers in my grade but nothing happened. The math teacher always had an attitude with me when I did exactly nothing in her class. My parents and I tried to resolve the bullying but nothing happened. I’m so glad I changed schools.

If you LOVE your child SEND THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! This has been by far the worst experience I have had in school with my child! My child is a straight A student and well behaved. Long story short I have been to and called this school about my daughter more times this year than I have in the 5 years she has been in school. The new principal seems to not care about the children and the teachers only care about their paycheck.There are other options out there. Just do your research. The staff does not reflect the demographic of students they teach and it is evident that there is a deficit in cultural sensitivity training at this campus.

Teachers come and go too often. We have a new assistant principal. Now in fifth grade there are no actual teachers they are all substitutes. The school does not require the teachers to signContract so they come and go often

The front desk staff is very rude, they need to be trained more in their customer service skills. The fact that they deal with children everyday to me means they should have better attitudes even if they have to fake them.

My child has been going since kindergarten, have loved the school up until this year. There has always been bullying but before the Teachers cared and payed attention, NOW it’s one big joke. Some kids get away with everything and certain get picked out by teachers and get tally’s over the SIMPLEST things but yet other students who make threats and puts their hands on other students gets the most leniency. Yet over here my kid is getting a tally for MARKERS. This school is not what it use to be the teachers do not show any emotion and don’t pay attention to the students which is why so many get away with violence and bullying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL. IF YOU WANT TO ATTEND LIFE SCHOOL ..CEDAR HILL I HEAR IS DOING OUTSTANDING AND THE ENVIRONMENT IS BETTER FOR THE CHILDREN.

I wish i could give this school a negative star they are so horrible. The principal MR PARKER told me flat out that my child was my own problem when i asked for help. The whole staff lies and covers for each other. The communication is nonexistent. Do not send your kids up here thinking your giving them a better opportunitie, cause these people do not care.

Lancaster Life School is the worst! A mother of a student bullied my child and I called the school, sent a letter to the principal, and left a voicemail for the counselor and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE! I was told that Life school was a great school, but my child has been there (first year), making all As and Bs but failed his STAAR test. He never brings home any homework and says he isnt being taught. How the hell can a child pass with As and Bs each report card and fail a test? Obviously, the teachers arent teaching what needs to be learned and they dont care about their children. There is always complaints of bugs in the cafeteria lunch food (which now my children take their lunch), and my nephew who also attends the school in kinder is constantly bullied. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS TO LIFE SCHOOL. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF YOU CHILD NOR EDUCATION. THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY!! I dislike Lancaster ISD because the teachers are ghetto, but they give homework and help their children so that they can succeed.There should be a choice for NEGATIVE STAARS! LOL!!

My child was bullied from the first day of school. No one noticed when a child scratched her face to the point that it was bleeding. My child cane home every week with scratches and bruises on her body. The final straw for me after calling this school, talking tongue teacher and assistant principal was when my baby came home Friday and said that another student punched her in the stomach and attempted to take her earrings out of her ear. She said that they pulled her hair and called her names. She covered her ears and told them to stop and they started calling her siblings names. This hurt me. My baby is in Kinder and children should not be subject to this kind of abuse. Furthermore, she told two teachers specifically about all of this and their responses were hes going to have his clipped moved or he will get in trouble . I withdrew my daughter and promised her she will never go back here again. She begged me not to take her back. Where are the teachers in all of this? How could they not notice my daughter was being bullied?! I called and spoke with the registrar and told her why my daughter would not return she did not attempt to act as if she cared. These leaders are not there to to protect these children. This is not a school that I would trust with my children at all.

Horrible Horrible school. My son got a concussion there last year in kindergarten. No one could tell me what happened to him.
