We have had an amazing experience at Belmar Elementary!! I appreciate the staff, teachers, and Mrs. Leighty for all they do for the students, and us parents. The enthusiasm and compassion that Belmar has to offer is far superior to our last school, and my daughter looks forward to her school experience here . Thank you to the team for all you do!! You make learning fun!!! :)

Mixed review - I have had at least one child in Belmar since 2003. All of the teachers and office staff are amazing, supportive, and helpful. We could not possibly love or appreciate them more. However, the current Principal, Meridith Leighty is the opposite. She is insolent and engages in unnecessary power struggles. Many parents I know have had the same issues with her, sadly the only way to get help is to reach out to the Jeffco Superintendent as Meredith is not a team player. Staff and families have left Belmar directly because of her. Its a shame she is not willing to work or be welcoming to families, because Belmar otherwise is a terrific school.

Very bad attention for the principal and races people and the Teacher for first grade very races with my son.
