When we first moved to Lake City I contacted Laura about teaching martial arts to my kids. They are a good place to begin. They are God fearing believers and help teach with that respect and love. My kids still speak fondly of her and her family.

If you value Quality over Quantity, you will love Academy of Martial Arts! Unlike some schools that emphasize how many trophies, degrees, belts, or world championships they have, AMA focuses on each childs unique skill set to obtain the best possible outcome. Wonderful, caring instructors work with all ages and abilities to instill confidence and respect among students and peers. They may be smaller than some schools, but they are growing with a new Dojo coming soon. Give Renshi or Mr. Pete a call, you wont be disappointed! ----- Haynes Family -----

Academy of martial arts, would be my first pick to send a child to. They teach responsibility, respect, integrity, and discipline, but is also fun for children. Thier after school program is great for moms that work late, they make sure the kids have snack and thier homework is done, and then they have class. Also great for adults as well! Reasonably priced as well! Great place if i could rate it higher i would!!

Laura and Pete are some of the best and honest people I know! Every child I know who has attended have loved every moment of this experience! They are great hands on instructors!

This place is a dump. My children begged not to return. No morals or values. All LIES.... I seen no real black belt or sash there. This is a MCDOJO .Strongly advise u find another school There are many good ones in the area this is NOT 1 of them.

Pete and Laura are awesome people! Laura is a great instructor and the reviews that say otherwise are fake from another academy that continue to bad mouth this great business. Give Academy of Martial Arts a chance and you won’t be sorry!! Don’t waste your money or time with anyone else in Lake City, especially those that are willing to teach your children immoral practices.

Everything out of the instructors mouth are straight lies. This place is a Huge Money pit. We went in this very small hot place. Teacher was rude and there are like no students I really see why. If I could rate this place lower I would. But one star is the lowest you can rate this place
