My son is a middle school student at Futures Academy in Laguna Hills/Mission Viejo. We are very proud to be part of a school community that really cares about each individual students success. He is thriving under the leadership of top-notch teachers who are willing to customize the curriculum to teach to his level and keep him engaged and excited about school. All of my sons teachers are patient, kind, creative, flexible, and dedicated. They take the time to get to know him and adjust their teaching style as needed. The 1:1 teacher-to-student instruction format is life changing!The culture of Futures Academy is upbeat, motivational, and fun. The staff and teachers all teach, encourage, and model a growth mindset. The school campus provides a healthy balance of social activities and interesting elective courses to round out the curriculum. My son is an athlete who loves the outdoors, so we really appreciate the flexible scheduling. The administrative team is very responsive and supportive. They make sure each student is challenged and that their talents and strengths are recognized.I highly recommend Futures Academy to any family looking for a school that really gets it, and understands that every student learns differently. They tailor their educational material to the students core interests, which brings out the best in them, and makes for a very happy experience. Futures is awesome. They really care for their students recognizing the students challenges in life and accommodating them while providing an education. If your child just isnt succeeding in a traditional school Futures has a way forward for them.

Remarkable instructors, they communicate well with the students and parents understanding that all students are mot taught the same a highly personal approach to education. They understand whats needed to reach and educate students. Would recommend them as a very viable alternative to traditional schools.

Everyone I have delt with at Halstrom is very knowledgeable and professional. The teachers my daughter has worked with have been great, the one on one is amazing! This kind of education isnt for ever child but it is a great option if your child isnt a mainstream learner! My daughter has loved her experience!

Halstrom has worked closely with us and our son to accommodate my his needs while challenging him intellectually. He enjoys the one on one attention, as well as the small group Robotics class hes taking this summer. Thank you!

Can’t rave enough about Halstrom. My son was struggling in local high school so we enrolled him here. The game changed and all grades went to A’s and B’s. The staff here actually care about your child - a novelty these days. The 1-1 tuition is what really sets this school apart from others. For the money it’s an absolute bargain. They work with your situation too where possible (scheduling).
