There are so many reasons why we chose GCA for our children’s education, and we have never been disappointed! They offer more than just the academic excellence that they advertise. Our children were exposed to athletics, an incredible music program, theater, an amazing art department, as well as a biblically grounded theology requirement. They care for every aspect of growth for our kids and are so supportive, even in these difficult times. It was the best decision that we ever made for our family. Truly!

Last week was my daughter’s final GCA chapel. As I watched her and her sweet friends leading in worship, I thought about the opportunities she has had to serve, worship, and grow in her faith. I am so very thankful for the teachers and staff who have taught her and loved her as their own. I truly believe that God led us to GCA, and I couldn’t be more thankful. 💙💙💙

We have been at GCA since Pre-K. We know our child is loved from every person in the building and we are confident in teaching that she receives. Our child’s love for the arts and desire to learn is taught through a biblical world view. We know she is growing well each year and are proud to be “GCA Lifers”

GCA is such a special place to our family! Theres no doubt in my mind that God has led our family there. We often say reason number #### why we love GCA... because there are SO MANY reasons!Its the way they partner with you in helping to raise our kids. The teachers and faculty reinforce the things we are teaching them at home and at church rather than fighting against us.Its the way our kids teachers have become friends who we continue to talk to and reach out to.Its the way the kids are able, and encouraged, to worship in their weekly chapel. We recently witnessed several kids openly worshiping God with raised hands as they sang alongside one of their teachers who was doing the same.Its the way the faculty truly love our kids! A couple of years ago our sons teacher came to his baptism at our church during Christmas break! He received Christ as his Savior during the break and she took time out of her schedule to visit our church so she could see him be baptized. Weve run into teachers and faculty members out in public and they never fail to acknowledge our kids and spend time talking with them. It always make them feel special.There are so many more; these experiences are just the tip of the iceberg.Before we enrolled our oldest child we did our research and talked to other parents, including those with kids at other Christian schools. One of them told us that if we enrolled at GCA we would fall in love with the school and the people and we wouldnt be able to fathom our kids being anywhere else. She was 100% right!Is it a sacrifice? Absolutely. But, its one that we havent regretted even for one day.

We relocated to Knoxville from Oklahoma last year, and GCA was an answer to prayer for our daughter who is currently in kindergarten. Our biggest concern in our move was the happiness and well-being of our daughter, and we have said multiple times this year how she has absolutely thrived at GCA!! Having her there gives us so much peace that she is loved, learning, growing, and learning more about Christ! We are so grateful for GCA!!

8 years ago we were lucky enough to find Grace after moving from Los Angeles. Along the way, we have met some very amazing people and friends for life. But most importantly our children received the greatest gift from God, an amazing education taught by some of the most caring and incredible people.I would just like to personally thank some of the amazing teachers and staff that have helped shape not only my son Dominic’s life, but also his brother, Luciano, as well.As both of our boys will be together again next year as they both attend the same college, GO VOLS, we are so thankful to all those that partnered with us these last 8 years to help prepare them for this next chapter of their lives.The best decision we ever made, next to leaving Los Angeles, was putting our Faith and Trust in Grace Christian Academy for our children’s education. Thank you all.

I went to grace from Pre-K to sophomore year of high school, before I was transferred. The school I was transferred to made me realize how amazing grace really was. I always knew I loved it, however you really dont know what you have until it is gone. The school I was transferred to, in Knoxville, but I will not name, was sexist against women, and many other things. Grace has the most amazing teachers and community. I love the balance between religion and modern day times, as the other school I went to believed that any part of modern religion was of the devil. If and when I have children, I will for sure send them here.

Grace Christian Academy has surpassed all of my wife and Is expectations. From the care provided by the staff, to the loving Christian environment they learn in and most importantly how they are growing in their love of Christ everyday.

Just got done with our school year. I am so thankful for a wonderful school that supported us and AMAZING teachers. I learned as much as the kids and none of this would have happened without their love, patience, wisdom, and guidance as this is NOT my calling. Yes we had ups and downs...but isn’t that normal life? To say I am proud of all that my boys learned and accomplished the past year is an understatement. I hope when they look back on this time that they remember what they were able to achieve even when it became difficult. It was not what we thought the end of the school year would be like but we know that no matter what the fall brings—God’s got this and so does Grace.

Both of our children have been at Grace since Mothers Day Out (through the associated Grace Baptist Church) and are currently in Kindergarten and 3rd Grade at GCA. We cant put into words the impact this school has had on our family, our children and our future. The teachers and staff, the facilities, the academics are on another level. You feel like youre a part of a big, loving family at Grace. We are just so thankful for this school!

The Christian experiences given to us at Grace are grounded in Christ s teachings and are exemplary of His discipleship. They are consistent with our familys morals and values. Teaching science at GCA for the past 14 years has been amazing! The school supports teachers with the time & resources for excellent instruction to prepare students for success in college. Im so proud of our many graduates who are serving in the medical and scientific fields!

Grace Christian Academy provides the type of experience I want for my kids – robust academics, presented through the prism of a Christian worldview. There are tons of opportunities for kids to engage -- the arts, athletics, student life, service and outreach. I love how GCA partners with parents in helping to raise Christian leaders. You feel like you’re part of a family there, valued by administration, faculty and staff. High, high marks!

Its hard to know what kind of school environment is going to be right for your child...too big, too small, too strict, too much freedom, too challenging? We struggled with these questions for MONTHS! After finally making our decision and being 3 years in with one child and 2 years in with the other, we couldnt be happier. GCA is the perfect mix of size, freedom and academics, but what really stands out and makes the difference for us is the student-faculty relationships. The atmosphere at Grace is positive and encouraging and the teachers are always available to our children and to us. We always receive a quick response to emails and there are frequent updates and communication about what is going on at school, or in the community, that we might be interested in. Could not be happier, all the way around!

Grace Christian Academy is small enough so that each student is known, yet large enough to be able to offer a very wide variety of opportunities. I love that it offers a balanced approach between between spiritual, academic, and social development. Thats what works for my child.

I went to school here from K-8. I would not recommend. I have never seen so many apathetic teachers. They would turn a blind eye for athletes and teachers kids. I was bullied so badly but no one did anything, and it was obvious. One of the worst bullies I had was a teacher. She constantly talked down to her students and was very rude during a hard time in my life. Many of the kids professed to be Christians but they were not bearing the fruits of God.

We have had all 3 of our kids attend GCA, and it has been such a blessing. The classes are academically challenging and excellent preparation for future college plans.Two of our children have already graduated and received excellent scholarships to private schools. We especially appreciate the strong emphasis of Biblical teaching and how it applies in all aspects in the students lives. The teachers and staff are wonderful and show a focused interest in each of the students lives and their success.

My children have been at GCA since Kindergarten and have had a fantastic experience. We have been happy with the Christian environment and education they have received. From the teachers, administrators, support staff and extracurricular opportunities we feel they have had a well-rounded experience. I would recommend GCA to any family that is looking to provide their children with a Christian education.

GCA cares a lot about upholding positive relationships with not only their students and staff, but extended families, alumni and the greater community. Very family oriented and what a Christian community should look like!

GCA was the last private school we visited when selecting a place for our daughter. Without minutes of our first visit we knew it was the place for her.I love that my daughter is receiving both a Christian and academic education that ranks up there with the best school. Love GCA! Its a loving atmosphere with educational excellence. The staff is top notch and love and pour educationally and spiritually into my child and all the children! We have had a wonderful experience with everything during our time here. The facilities are nice with great educational and athletic programs for children in all grades.

Amazing school where the teachers, students and parents are welcoming and caring. The biblical integration with top-notch academics is our priority. The great athletics, productions and extra-curricular activities are a close second. We are so glad we found Grace!

GCA has not only met but exceeded our expectations for our son. They hold exceptionally high academic standards and give one on one attention to each child. The faculty treat each child and parents like family and you know you are truly cared for. GCA truly lives out their motto to lead, build, and equip, not just academically but also spiritually. Several years ago a job transfer moved our family from Atlanta to Knoxville. Before our move we started looking for a Christian school for our then middle school and elementary-aged girls. Through a google search, we found GCA. During our tour of the school, we realized Grace was not only right for our girls but an answer to our prayers. Fast forward seven years and we still believe that is true. GCA has curriculum that supports a Biblical worldview, staff and administrators who love the Lord and want our girls to reach their potential in their academic and spiritual lives, a wide variety of athletic and artistic opportunities to join in, and friends who have become like family.

My daughter just finished first grade at GCA, and our experience has been amazing. The small class size makes such a difference in early elementary school, because the teacher is able to have one on one time with each student. We love the staff, as well as the other GCA families we have met.

Love that Grace Christian Academy offers an early middle school program for 5th and 6th graders and then regular middle school for 7th and 8th graders! What a great way to slowly move young children into middle school.

We transferred our kids from one of the top elementary schools in Knox Co. to GCA 4 years ago. From their Biblical teachings, academic structure and fine arts department, to the athletics program - We love this school!

I have three children, all of which currently attend GCA. I can say that my wife and myself love the education that they are receiving and have never once regretted our decision to put them in this school. The teachers are knowledgeable, caring, and have a genuine concern for the well being of each child. The entire staff seems to work together for the best interest of the children. I believe that they constantly strive for excellence in academics, as well as in athletics and they seem to do well in both. So if you are considering a private school with a Christian environment I would highly recommend taking a tour of GCA!!!

What a blessing Grace has been to our family! This is our 2nd year at GCA. Transitioning from public school to Grace was very easy due to all the support we received from the teachers and other families. The teachers kept an eye on our kids to make sure they were plugging in and making friends. In the afternoon at pickup, my kids wanted to stay at school longer! I have also been able to substitute at Grace in all areas of the school from Kindergarten to Seniors in Upper School. The environment is so refreshing. I feel like my children are building a strong foundation in their faith as well as receiving a great academic education. The teachers are great and care so much about my children. We love our GCA Family!

We transferred our children from a strong public school system to Grace Christian Academy because we wanted an excellent academic program with the integration of Biblical teaching. As a public education teacher, I couldnt have picked a better school than Grace Christian Academy. It is my opinion that students can learn academics in any setting. However, at GCA, students are learning much more than just academics. Christian values and character building is a huge reason why my family is a part of the GCA family. GCA excels in learning about the love of Jesus and deeper biblical understanding, but they are more than that. Knowing that my childs teacher is constantly praying for her is so encouraging. My daughter accepted Jesus last year in 1st grade. The first person she wanted to call at 10pm was her teacher... and we did. She answered, told her how proud she was of her, and they talked for about 10 minutes. The GCA Head of Schools baptized her in the following weeks during church. Im not sure how many other schools could do this... but I know of one that did. From academics, to athletics, to Christian values, to personal relationships, GCA is the place to be.

My family has been at GCA for four years, and GBC’s Mother’s Day Out and Pre-K program before that. The children are loved on and supported everyday there! Both our kids love being a part of such a special school. The teachers go out of their way to encourage and help, not only the students, but the whole family, too! We are thankful for this school, and our GCA family!!

GCA is such a special place. When you enter the doors of the school, you can feel it. The it Im speaking of is the joy that radiates through the hallways. Jesus is so evident at GCA in the students, parents, faculty, and staff! We couldnt be more pleased with our decision to send our daughter to GCA. We believe God has great big plans for her and we feel so fortunate to be able to send her to a place where those around her encourage her, pray for her, and work along side of us to help her understand and be what God wants her to be! She has grown not only physically, but spiritually, emotionally, and mentally this in her 3 years at GCA! She absolutely loves going to school each day! We feel so blessed to be a part of the GCA family!

Do not send your child here. There is a drug problem with teachers and students.

Your middle school cheerleaders in particular have been extremely rude.
