Amazing place.

I am so thankful for the staff and how well my son is adjusting to High School. L&N Stem has an environment for academic success.

I go to this school now and truly won’t ever regret going, I’ve learned lots from here, and kept my grades from falling. But, there are some issues, “tutoring” is actually just a room where the teacher forces you to do work and expect you to pass the class that way. Some teachers are very rude, this school has very racist students and has a lot of drug problems, some students walk into other classes (seniors) like they own the place, and completely disturb the class. It bothers everyone and seniors and anyone else above a freshman get treated like they are serfs, and they are the kings and queens.

Beautiful area, great teachers and staff, and the students are nicer than what you would normally find in a school environment. Overall, I really like this place, and actually enjoy going to school now.

Some of the staff here is friendly (especially Mrs. Ashe and the people who work in the front office), working environment is nice; however, getting kicked out of a quiet room for studying is unreasonable. Furthermore this room was for peer tutoring where kids barely sign up for Tuesday and Thursday morning. I was in the room to finish my work for A.P. Computer Science and I was removed from the area because it needs to be used as its purpose but clearly there were no students being tutored. Furthermore, the working environment in the commons is very noisy and distracting which makes it impossible for me to finish my work. This is the reason I gave L&N STEM Academy two stars.

I agree with Mr. Mike Cho, this is an issue that needs to be fixed. Its unfair that we arent allowed to use this room for a quiet, comfortable room to study. I understand that there is a media center, but the environment is not the same because the sound from the commons is still noticiable and distracting, but in the peer tutoring room you wouldnt have to worry about it. Also, most of the time the peer tutoring room doesnt even seem to be in use a lot of the time, so its unfair that we arent able to use it ourselves. This is a problem that needs to be resolved. Thank you.

Happiness is seen daily here. My son is pleased with his teachers and making friends with these bright young people.

I don’t even live in Tennessee but my friend says it’s a bad school

Very open-minded environment, great teachers who see students as fellow human beings, rather than numbers.

This school is ok pretty advanced but hard to understand and i have a 4.0 gpa and yet it is still hard to understand what they teach i for one have ADHD and and they dont help people like me to focus better at this school they believe that we can make ourselves focus but thatsnot the case. If your child has any medical disease such as ADHD or ADD or any other disease like those that have been talked about then please think a lot before sending your child to this school. Thank you.

Worth visiting when the robotics team is presenting, maybe youll get to drive a dangerous 140 pound piece of metal and wire.
