I have been taking lessons at Go Dance for 7 months, now, and have loved every minute of it! Dancing has helped get me back in shape while being a wonderful escape. The instructors push you but make sure you are having fun every step of the way. Every week, I look forward to my lessons and dancing alongside the friends I have made at the studio. You will not regret coming to this studio, you will regret not coming in sooner!

I was disappointed with the communication of how this was set up. My fiance and I went with the idea of learning some dance steps for our wedding. We went through the introductory class and sat down with our dance instructor. She described two choices to continue, either a 3 or five class option. I asked for the 5 class and she talked me out of it saying that we were picking things up quick and would not need more than 3 classes. Half-way through the third class she stops us and makes us fill out a form and then proceeds to tell us that its going to take a lot more for us to be ready for a dance after she had said earlier that we were picking things up quickly. I understand that things may take a while to learn and perfect but these things should be discussed at the beginning, not after you have gone through 3 classes and paid thinking you were going to get somewhere but all you were taught is the basic steps to dances. The instructor was nice but this tactic is not acceptable.

Had the privilege of working alongside the Go Dance staff for a huge community event. They were equally as professional as they were personable. Each member of the staff was a delight to work with and we will keep coming back year after year!Generous hearts, talented dance professionals and skilled instructors made our event an enormous success in the Knoxville community.We also followed up with a group party style class and individual lesson for my husband and me. I never danced before in my life (I am 69) before coming to Go Dance. My girlfriend loves to dance so I wanted to try it for her. We tried the introductory dancing lessons. Well, the rest is history. I got hooked on dancing in a big way. We have been dancing for two years now. We have been in shows and even several competitions. WOW!!!!! This is great fun. We have met some great new friends and the professional dancers are AWESOME!!!!! Dancing is also great exercise, both mentally and physically; keeps you young. Im loving it and Im going to keep dancing for as long as I can.

My husband and I wanted to learn how to dance for our sons wedding, so we signed up for lessons here 2 years ago. We are still learning and having fun with the excellent instructors at Go Dance Knoxville. Our private lesson instructor, Rachel, is very patient and encourages us to keep improving and learning new things. The other instructors also work with us in the group classes and all are very professional and nice. I highly recommend this studio for anyone who wants to learn ballroom dancing!

I came to Go Dance to learn to dance with my son at his wedding last spring. My husband and I are still taking lessons because there is so much to learn. The instructors are very patient and the Friday night dance parties are a wonderful way to put into practice what we learn at lessons. Everyone at Go Dance is so friendly, both instructors and other students!

My wife and I started ballroom dancing at Go Dance about a year ago, and its the most fun weve had in years. Every time we have a lesson its like date night. And we have a chance to use our dancing skills every week at the Friday night parties held at the studio! The instructors are all such great people, and we have a whole new social life hanging out with our fellow dance students. My daughter, Kelly H., has been taking dance here since August 2017. She really enjoys it and gets a good workout at the same time. She has increased her skill level and also made new friends.

Absolutely wonderful place to learn to dance and build yourself up. Instructors are amazing and personable. Theyll push you to do your best every time. Very uplifting every time though, even on your worst days. Its impossible to walk out in a bad mood. This place is the definition of you get what you pay for.

My wife.and I have been taking lessons here for over five years. We have performed in several shows and competed in multiple competitions. Whether you just want to learn a few dances to use socially or you want to compete this studio will provide what you need.

The instructor we had was personable but I dont really feel he listened to my concerns. When I told him my husband was leading with the incorrect hand he chastised me to learn to follow.The entire experience was disheartening. It took me years to get my husband to agree to lessons. The website said any shoes would be fine. The first lesson in we were pressured to buy dance shoes. My Groupon was for four thirty minute lessons. We were told they only did hour lessons. Those hour lessons were always less than fifty minutes. When we renewed it was highly suggested we do the three lesson package as they only suggest the five lesson package to much older folks. Then, after two more, lessons we only received a thirty minute lesson because our instructor was locked out making him late. After a thirty minute review, He wanted to discuss our next contract and promised more time on the floor after that. There was a contract that was time limited to three months and we were not able to get all the lessons in during that time. He could not assure me it would not be time limited so we said we would need to think about it. That ended our lesson as the instructor left to put the paper away and never came back.I really feel that this could have been a better experience. We wanted to learn a specific dance and it seemed as if that dance was purposely avoided. The price could have been reasonable if we received the full hour. In addition we would have continued except the last contract we were offered was limited to three months. Unfortunately, this studio lacked flexibility and since we were driving 45 minutes for lessons that is a hard no from us.

Stay away from their instructor Chris. Hes juvenile, bigoted and nasty.
