I just started attending, my brain has been blowed away. The staff is the best. And the principal is very engaging, and so are the teachers. The only bad thing is... wait, there are NO BAD THINGS. The most perfect school ever.

It is a tremendous blessing and joy to work at a school that glorifies Jesus Christ at the core of its existence. The faculty work diligently to instill a love of learning and a love for living the Catholic faith. This is a school that promotes developing a personal and communal relationship with God. I am inspired by the work ethic and academic accomplishments of our students, but what brings me the greatest pleasure is walking alongside the families and faculty who use their gifts to glorify God.

I have been teaching at St. John Neumann Catholic School for 8 years. My family and I moved here from Michigan, which had been our home for 35+ years. The staff and families of SJNCS welcomed my family with open arms. Its been a blessing to be a part of school that offers so many great opportunities to our students. We have the privilege of attending Mass twice a week and quarterly retreats that help us learn all about our Catholic religion. Our students attend Spanish, technology, art, and music weekly, along with PE three times a week. I truly cant imagine being anywhere else!

I have been teaching at St. John Neumann Catholic School for 3 months and feel like I have walked into heaven. My 2 children (ages 3 and 6) are enrolled here, and I could not be happier with everyone that I encounter! The administration team is incomparable, the priestly presence is amazingly awesome, and the education the students are receiving go above and beyond my expectations. Many of the reviews on here are outdated and are not a true reflection of SJNCS today. Please, take some time to tour and check it out for yourself!

SJNCS is a great school! It is filled with caring teachers that promote Christian principles and have high academic expectations. Since it is smaller, students get to know all the teachers as well as other students. The Principal knows all students by name! Great place to grow up and learn!

Teachers are firm, but fair and truly want to see the children succeed. I love the size of the school and feel very strongly about the quality of education my children receive. Add the fact that its faith-based and youve got everything you could want in a school!

SJN provides a quality education, faith-based learning, and a caring school community all in one. Teachers take the time to get to know their students. They work with the parents to provide the best learning environment for each child. Smaller classes offer more student/teacher interaction and connection. The parent volunteer group is very active.

I have taught at St. John Neumann Catholic School since 2003. Teaching here is a privilege! Faculty and administration work together to create the best learning environment for the children. Catholic identity is incorporated into daily activities. Students are challenged to be the best they can be.

My daughters have had such a positive experience at St. John Neumann Catholic School. I feel so blessed that they were able to spend their elementary and middle school years there.

I have worked very closely with the faculty, staff and administration of this school for several years. The school has an outstanding atmosphere for learning. You can see that the teachers care about the students and will do whatever they can to make sure the students succeed.

This is my daughters 7th year here at SJN and weve loved every moment of it! The rigorous curriculum and high academic standards far exceed our expectations. She is growing in her faith each day and demonstrates great character and values. There are also numerous opportunities for after school enrichment at every grade level.

My third child is currently a middle school student at SJN. My two oldest attended SJN though the 8th grade. After having been involved in this school for over 13 years, I cannot imagine a better elementary and middle school experience for my children. The faculty is dedicated and supportive, but firm. High school entry exam scores for SJN far exceed national averages and rank among the highest of the local private schools. My two oldest left this school feeling happy, loved, and well prepared for high school and beyond.

This school has been a disappointment. Bullying incidents that you would not expect in a Catholic school environment without repercussions to the bullies. Very sad. We pulled our child out of Saint John Neuman over Christmas break and we finally have a happy child! Wasted many dollars there.

This school used to be a good school but not anymore. More people leave the school every year, the classes are getting smaller. I had 3 kids in this school, my oldest stayed there from kinder to the end of 6th grade. The school used to have two classes with 21 or 22 kids per class, now the smaller grades only have 1 class. They don’t have enough kids to fill up two rooms. The rest of the grades have between 13 to 15 kids, which makes very hard for your kids to find a good set of friends or fit there.I decided to leave the school because I noticed I was wasting my money. I will always regret not to leave SJNCS even sooner, I could had enriched the live of my kids with the money I wasted in so many other ways. The kids at SJN are not more advanced than any other kid on public school even though the school emphasize that kids are a year or year an a half advance compare with other schools. False. When my son entered first grade, he was behind compare with those kids that came from public kindergarten. Worst of all, three more kids moved to 1st. grade from SJNCS there (that I know) and the three of them were placed on special programs to catch up with the grade. So sad. There is a lack of sports on this school, and the few they offer don’t provide good coaches. Most of the time coaches are parents that do it for the kids but not necessarily have any experience on that particular sport or any teaching experience on coaching. The last year we stayed there, the school started to offer music for middle school, not as regular course but as optional during their study time. The music they offered was liturgic which can be quite boring for a teenager so my son obviously stayed away from it. Last year however, he joined the Middle school band at the public school. The teacher took him under his wing, even though he was a year behind compare with the rest of the class. I was so excited to see him playing trumpet during the concerts. SJNCS is light-years behind to put a concert like that. Art on SJN is not that important either. There are not substitutes teachers, they use parents as a substitutes that have no experience on teaching, license or training for that matter. Worst of all, they normally use those parent that love to talk behind other people’s back so the privacy of your kids can be compromise. I found comments on Facebook from a substitute parent that was a little disturbing for me.For been a private school, the teachers are not much better than the ones on public, actually I found out after a year on public school, that teachers on public school are more committed and dedicated to teach the kids that those on SJNCS. My kids came home with tones of homework, some of this homework was not even explained in class so I found myself teaching my kids and expending 3 or 4 hours every day for homework. Sports or extra curriculum activities after school was not even on my mind.If you kids need special attention, SJNCS does not offer any special assistant for your kids, psychologist, support team programs or any kind of therapy either. If you a looking for good school that offer great education for your kids don’t waste your time and money here or you will regret it.
