My color formula was mixed up. Crystal the director called me and told me corporate would fix my hair, however I was not welcome back there again. Made it my fault, when I’m a paying client. Absolutely so unprofessional and unacceptable!

I’ve been a hairdresser for 30 yrs and my youngest daughter decided she loved hair so I took her to Toni and guy academy in Keller! She was a natural she, got up went to school and did great! I went there for her to do my hair when she first started, luckily I am a hairdresser because there was bleach on my hair for over an hour and not 1 instructor came to check! So I told her that she needed to rinse that part of my hair!! The instructors there are HORRIBLE! So bad that she has graduated and doesn’t want to do hair because of the staff there making it so miserable for her! It was months after she finished her hours before she even got her diploma! Not a good place to go to school!!

My 10 year old wanted to get the tips of her hair dyed for her birthday! I chose Toni and Guy Academy for this occasion! It was such a great choice! Out stylist was Alexis and she was amazing! Very professional from start to finish. She made my daughter feel so special! Alexis did a fabulous job on the color and recommendations on how to take care of it! We will definitely go back!

I went in for a cut and color and was given to Mario. He was kind, professional and listened to exactly what I wanted. He was so fun and made me feel comfortable. I will BE BACK TO SEE HIM! So, Joey is the guy you want to go to if you want THE BEST talk while getting your hair done. Hes hilarious and clearly knows what hes doing. He took 2 1/2 inches off my hair and left it AMAZING. We also made plans to color it soon since Ive seen the work hes done. 10/10 recommend.

I got a great haircut from Jaime Irby a couple of days ago. I have been coming to Tonis for over 4 years now, and have been happy with the service, recognizing that barbers who cut my hair were at various levels in their training.Jaime did an excellent job working with my reduced hair count :) while giving good advice on how to style and cut it. Additionally, he had a friendly, cheerful and humorous manner about him which made the cut more enjoyable. Great service from a great barber.

Ive been coming to this academy for at least 5 years. I love their work and trust them completely. Ive had cuts, color and conditioning treatments. Top notch!

I went in to get a simple haircut and came out with something so much better. Jamie Irby cut my hair and impressed me from that start. He was professional, friendly and you could tell he knew his stuff. He makes getting a haircut feel more like an experience and even used a Hot Towel. If you get a chance to get your haircut by Jamie you owe it to yourself your hair will thank you.

I have “maturing” hair. Fighting gray and brittle ends has been a struggle. Kiley has been working with me to find the best color/cut & product needs. She has done an excellent job & my hair is finally coming around! I will continue to trust her with my hair & keep going back. 💇🏼‍♀️

This was my first time coming here, wanted to try something new. The location its really nice and the products they use are good quality. About my hair cut, well you can judge by the pictures. I asked for a long bob and showed some pictures as well to make sure he knew the style and length (two of the last pictures youll see are the ones i showed my hair dresser, so he knew what i wanted). I specifically said i wanted it to be shoulder length. I have to add that i knew i was going to a hair school, therefore i didnt panic when my hair cut was not what i had expected. The experience was good, the gentleman who helped me has great customer service skills, the shampooing part was great! I honestly can say that i was more disappointed at the instructors. When my hair cut was finished she just came by briefly and did not really checked to see if there were any spots that needed to be trimmed. Since he styled my hair so the ends werent showing i was not able to see the real finished product., it wasnt until i got home and showered that i saw it was un-even in the ends. I ended up going to a real salon to have my hair fixed. I dont recommend this place for a hair cut. I hope the instructors will be more interactive and hopefully they pay more attention to detail. Needles to say: i was helped by a salon ready student and i thought that would have been safe but I was disappointed.

Jaime Irby is a very talented and energetic stylist. He was thorough and he went through every inch of my hair to make it perfect. He definitely knows what he is doing. I definitely would recommend Jamie for anyone.

I was a little nervous getting my hair cut by a student, but I had a really wonderful experience! Jake was my hairdresser and he did an amazing job. He was great with conversation and paid attention to what I wanted. Hes going to be a great stylist and hes got me as a future client!

A friend recommended this place to me, so I tried it out last weekend. I have a lot of trouble getting a good haircut, so I asked for someone good with curls. She was amazing. I have even worn my hair down, which is a big deal for me. Loved the experience.

Visited today and got my hair done by my good friend Jessica. She was so awesome, she has never done my hair and I have never found that one person who I would trust to go back over and over. Today my hair went from straight to spiral perm, she does it different then I had ever seen but the results were awesome. She also did my make-up by airbrush, I have never had this done and didnt know it even existed but so glad I let her do it. With my new hair and makeup I walked out looking younger. So thank you so much for all you did.

Sydney did amazing work on my full HI/LOW light color and cut. She took pictures before and after. She took her time, asked questions when she wanted to, did not be a boss and made me feel beautiful! I dont usually style my hair as I have to wear it up all the time for work, she took the extra time to dry and beachy wave the style..! I dont remember the last time I felt so good about my how my hair looks (and Im old lol)

What a great place!! Went here to try something totally new and was blown away by what they did. Their staff and students are great and they are always trying to fit your needs as best they can (considering its mostly student hairdressers with stylists/teachers overlooking). I went through the cosmetology program at this location, and I must say that I am so glad I chose this school. Sure throughout my year at Toni & Guy Keller Academy there were ups and downs, but now that I’ve moved on and began working in a salon, I realize how far ahead I am of all my co workers who went to different schools. I would highly recommend this school. They’re tough on you, but it because they care, and they want you to be the absolute best you can be, and I’m forever indebted to my instructors! Thank you all so much for making me the stylist I am today!!

My grand daughter recieved a trim for her hair that was below her bottim. By the time they finished they had cut 12 inches off with about 1/3 of her hair 4 inches longer than the rest. By the time we fix it it will be shoulder lengh. NO APOLOGIES EITHER JUST HEY SOMEONE ELSE CAN FIX IT.PAY FOR AN EXPERIENCED HAIRDRESSER !!

Took a friend 2-3 hours just to get his hair cut. Nobody should ever take that long cutting someones hair. Never had anybody be this slow cutting somebodys hair absolutely pathetic. Garbage place would not recommend unless you dont mind waiting all day

Ive had ShiAnne Armstrong do highlites, colors, and cuts! She has been amazing thru every process! She was very confident at each session of doing my hair!Today she really amazed me! When the teachers would come to check her work, they praised her also!

Do not attend this school. They tell you lies to get you to sign up. Theyre crooked. They commit fraud against your student loans. If you get sick and have to miss a couple of days you have to pay them. Upon completion of their program you cannot take your practical and they WILL NOT release your hours. I along with about ten other girls in my class were ripped off financially from Keller Toni & Guy Academy. Plus, when you as a client come into the academy we have NO IDEA how to cut your hair. Save your money as a student and client and go ELSEWHERE!!!! FRAUD & THIEVES!

This place will break you down and tear you apart. The director is shady and the instructors are decent. The structure and academic program is OK at best. They will lie to you and make you question yourself daily.

It was horrible she did not know what to do when she took me to go shampoo it took her 8 minutes to find the bottle and then I told her this is the haircut I want and explained to her how I want it but she had no idea how to CUT diffrent instructors or “teachers” is what they call them didn’t know what to do even though I told them 4 TIMES what I want to each of them so I had to go home and fix my hair by myself because it had been cut uneven and horribly. Plus 4 diffrent people were experimenting on my hair which is sad.

I have gone for colors and cuts and I am pretty pleased. The times I have gone I have had different stylist each time. Unless you call and book in advance for the same stylist, they will put you with who ever is free. I am okay with trying new stylist as the ones I have had are good, but some things could improve. My colors have always come out great. Its my cuts that have been my least fav of all. I have very thin hair strands, but tons of it. If it is not cut just right it doesnt lay right. So, really it is not the students fault- because they actually have done a hell of a lot better then the high end salons I was going to and paying 150.00$ just for a cut and style. So, I am not going to complain one bit. My hair is difficult, and they do a fine job. The instructor is always there to ask questions and render aide if needed. If I ever had a problem or wanted them to touch up here and there- they always did it with enthusiasm and a smile-never making me feeling I was a bother. I love them and recommend them. As for the person who was a student who left the bad review- being a Nurse and going to college- I was NEVER allowed to have my phone on my person in class, in clinicals or in the hospital rounds; I was NEVER allowed to eat or drink in class, or again, in any of the above mentioned areas during rounds; I also paid a lot more for my education, and the rules were there to guide and set boundaries so that the school could teach and run smoothly for EVERYONE who attends. A positive note should be that any one who has the opportunity to attend Toni & Guy Academy in my book, would receive a great education. Debra Estephan.

I attended school here a few years back. I LOVED LOVED LOVED it! I wouldnt change my experience for anything... Great learning enviroment and although they are stern with rules those rules helped ready me for the demanding salon enviroment to follow. Anybody who tells me they want to go to hair school I always recommend Toni&Guy. I came out of school knowing exactly what I was doing, ready for the real world. I know most of the staff that was there when I attended is no longer there, but I still highly recommend this academy!!!!

So good! They learned hands-on training and I got an awesome haircut!

Deeply disappointed. I asked for a swing bob, stacked in the back and angled down from back to front. There is no angle at all, it is a straight cut. And I asked for her to make both sides even with each other and they are not. She cut most of my hair while it was dry. The process took two and a half hours. I wont go back. :(

Always very professional. I get my hair colored here and all the girls that have done it have done a great job. I like that they keep my formula on file so they know exactly what is needed everytime I come. The only thing I dont like is that they only do color appts M-F 9:30-12:30...not convienent for those of us who work. It forces me to take a day off.
