We love KRK! We have two children in the program and the experience has been spectacular. The staff goes above and beyond for the kids and it is evident that they truly care about our kids. We really appreciate all the hard work that the team has put in this summer to making the experience unforgettable. Thanks for being a part of our village!

My children attended this facility for over 2 years. Though we dont currently attend due to COVID-19, I can say that they were always responsive even when there was a misunderstanding. The staff also really care about children. The parents night out was my absolute favorite, allowing parents to get a chance to have time to themselves past the regular daytime hours for a reasonable fee.

My son has gone to KRK since he was a one year old. He’s always gone part time (3 days a week). I have a job where I travel and I’m on-call, and KRK has always been flexible and let me move my days around when I need to. This is a huge benefit to me as I want to spend as much time as possible with him. They also have cameras in the rooms so I can see him on my phone when I do travel. I highly recommend. My husband and I have been completely happy with them, and so has our son. He always looks forward to going.

Initially I was excited to have my kid attend KidsRKids due to close proximity to the house, cameras in class room and the reviews weren’t that bad. Unfortunately I had a terrible/traumatizing experience with Kids R Kids.We signed incident reports every week. Yes, every week! His first week in school, my kid( 17months at that time) fell hitting his forehead on the door edge. Both the front desk person, teacher, director had different stories but quite similar narrated to me. Quite similar being that he fell but how it happened was narrated differently. Of course, they have a business to protect so I don’t expect them to admit their carelessness.Overall, I could tell exactly how that incident happened. He fell asleep during the buggy buggy ish and he was made to walk into the classroom when he could have been carried since he was sleepy.I noticed my kid lost a lot weight and started watching the school camera closely during lunch. Also, from Day 1, I let them know my kid doesn’t eat on his own; he is still being fed while we continue to work on him to get him to that point. This very day, I watched the teacher feed two kids. During this time, my kid was making a mess of his food on the table. After feeding the second kid, the teacher went to my son table, dusted the mess from the table back to his plate and tossed the plate back to my son like a dog (I bet she will never do this to her own dog if she has any). After 2-5mins, she removed the plate from the table. To my absolute surprise, when I received the report for that day, it was noted that my kid finished his lunch meal and all his water. Meanwhile, he had none of his lunch and drank no water. This is was just the last straw for me. Absolutely inhuman and disgusting to treat a 17month old like that. I was also tired of the inaccurate reports. So yes, traumatizing! Leaving an innocent kid to starve and constant lies. Shame on KidsRKids!

My daughter attends Kids r Kids and I couldn’t be happier! The teachers are so amazing and accommodating to parents. They take the time to really get to know the children individually and work with them one on one. The teachers are very knowledgeable, wonderful and very engaging with the children. The management and front desk staff are thoughtful, energetic and truly loving towards the children and parents. My mind is always at ease when my daughter is there. The environment is super clean and safe! I would highly recommend this school to any family who is looking for a Childcare Center.

My kids have been at Kids R Kids for almost 4 years now and it has been a pleasure! The teachers are so caring I never worry about the safety of my children. Even when they were just 8-10 weeks old they were in the hands of teachers with nearly 20 years of experience and they were amazing with the babies. The baby room was always nice and quiet with a well organized feeding schedule and they were great with handling breast milk! As my kids are growing they have learned so much! They even offer special science classes and have sports on site like soccer and dance. I have minimal fears about my kids entering school and riding the bus because they will still be in the hands of the Kids R Kids staff! They offer transit to and from school with their before and after care programs! They also have live streaming video monitors in every class so you can sneak a glance when you’re missing your babies! We’ve found the care exceptional.

I absolutely LOVE this school! I have to make sure I call it a school rather than a Daycare. My son is 6 months now and has been attending for the last month and it is the best decision my Husband and I have ever made for him. I started off calling it a Daycare, but after receiving the daily curriculum for the learning modules as well as physically seeing my child grow this past month, I can no longer refer to Kids R Kids as a Daycare. Just to share some background my Husband and I tried for 10 years to bring our blessing into this world so you can imagine how overprotective we were. But Ms. Megan, Carolyn, Mary and Ms. Yesenia have treated my child like family, to the point to where I log in 5 times a day rather than 10 :) Thank you Kids R Kids! Im so excited to continue to watch my child grow..You all have no clue how much easier this makes our lives!

Moved my son to this daycare this year and I must say I’m not all that thrilled about this facility. Front office staff is unprofessional and needs some positive attitude adjustments quickly. Communication between a concerned parent and staff should not be greeted with attitude from a certain staff member nor gossiped about thereafter, highly unprofessional. If you can accept my tuition, then you can accept my questions, please save the attitude, especially when it relates to health questions regarding Covid-19 and the safety of children and others. I’ve had to find out about physical injuries (after the fact) from my 7-year old son as well as other information that was not communicated nor documented from staff due to negligence on their behalf, that is also concerning and a problem. It has been too many careless instances that have fallen on empty apologies and because I do not believe these instances will be conveyed to the owner truthfully, I will leave this here. The last thing any hard working parent wants to worry about is leaving their child in the care of any unfit individuals. I doubt we will continue using the services of Kids ‘R’ Kids in the future.

I used to adore this school until they switched owners & new management! I feel so sorry for the teachers employed here I’ve personally witnessed a lady from the front desk be disrespectful to a teacher! So I completely understood why there was always new teachers in my child’s classroom! Meredith was the only professional!! The assistant director & front desk crew should be let go !! I’ve took my business elsewhere!! & I hope all of those passionate teachers do the same! It starts with the owners/management!

I love this school sooo much. Words can’t express how much I’m pleased with Kids R Kids. My son has been going there since he was 4 mths. The teachers are superb and care for my son as their own. Even when we walk in the doors we are immediately greeted. Such a warm feeling. As well as the protection of my child; I know that he is in good hands. You have to have a pass code to even enter in the building. As well as camera footage in each location of the facility. I have access to check on my child through video footage from a site PB&J at any given time I choose. I severely highly recommend Kids R Kids if your looking for a great family oriented; advance curriculum school.

I am seeing the negative reviews on google and I have to chime in. Both my children have attended Kids R Kids on Franz Road and have loved every minute! They have had amazing teachers who really take the time to love and educate my children. Every time I walk in the door I am greeting by the front desk who is always smiling and makes me and my children feel welcome. Any issues I have, if you want to call them that, are handled promptly by the Director and Assistant Director and always to my satisfaction. My children have learned so much and are always coming home with funny stories and they cant wait to go to Kids R Kids the next day. I am blown away with what they know and I am FULLY confident that my children will be so far ahead of the game in public school. I know that no school is perfect and will make mistakes, but this school goes above and beyond to make the parents and children happy and I am happy with this school. My children will continue to attend Kids R Kids of Franz Road no matter what any review says. Thank you so much!!

I would like to post a personal response regarding the previous review (A. Ward). I am the Assistant Director of Kids R Kids of Franz Road and mother of two girls who attend the facility. Normally, I would not feel the need to comment as a parent or employee. But the assumption made by the previous poster comes as a complete shock to me and I feel a comment from myself is necessary-- as I can not sit aside and watch the name of such a caring person be tarnished.I am a woman of color (African American) and was hired by Meredith in 2012. She and I have worked side by side (we literally share an office) and in all of my 6 years employeed at Kids R Kids, I honestly have never witnessed anything to assume any prejudices from her and it saddens me that someone might feel that way. She has dedicated herself to our school and children since the school first opened its doors. She is fair with all employees and children alike and gives many opportunities for her employees to grow no matter their ethnicity or culture. She does not see color, just people (my own children call her Auntie M).Our school strives to break boundaries and come together as a united community. We teach our children about cultural differences so they can grow and acknowledge them-- thus making the next generations more united than past ones have been. Our children 2 and up also get a chance to enjoy a Multicultural class once a week (a program implemented by our Director, Meredith). Please inquire about programs and the people involved before making such strong accusations. Lets continue moving forward and coming together as a society. I do wish you luck in your job search.Practice Peace.-Ashley Cline

Kids R Kids at Franz is a great facility, but what good is a great facility if you have equally bad teachers in the Pre-K. My son started there for Pre-K, and only lasted a week. He loved there the first day and was happy, second day on-wards started pouting after nap time; and following days he was crying his eyes out after nap time. I was on vacation from work, so was keeping an eye on my son via their cameras.Instead of reasoning with him and asking what bothers him, I caught them ignoring him at first, then shouting, and then making him sit alone on the desk letting him cry; till I had to drive from home and pick him up early. When I would come, they acted and said Everything was fine, he just started crying before you walked in. I ignored them first, but the last day I told them, I watched yall, all day, and that shut them up.The daily reports we got from the teachers were laced with grammatical errors and also the reports of what he ate and how much was all inaccurate or fabricated. I know my son, he eats a lot of greens and meats, but he does not eat peas or pasta; so please dont fake that he did. I know that is petty, but these folks are educators for kids who cannot form sentences with conviction, trust is what all parents are looking for, and they ought to be better at least at writing their reports correctly and accurately.Anyways, my son went from I want to go to school to I dont want to go to school. Fearing this will affect him forever, we got him out of Kids R Kids and then enrolled him in another pre-K twice the distance away. The first day when I drove him to the new Pre-K he cried in the car, but when he arrived the educator hugged him and welcomed him in the class. They told me accurately that he cried the first day during end of the class and the following days he has stopped crying, stopped pouting, and now after 2 weeks he is very happy there. The teachers are caring and he is excited to go to school again; and is doing well. He talks about how good the teachers are all day long and basically summarizes the whole day; he did not say that about the teachers at Kids R Kids. To any parent that is the best review you can have, in your kids own words. It reaffirms the decision you as a parent made for them. Every morning he is excited to go to the new school. I will not name that school in this review, since it would be advertising of a competitor albeit true recommendation.Long story short, the school (Kids R Kids) refunded the money back and also the deposit less the time spent; which is why they get a couple of stars. As any fair review goes, here are the goods. The kitchen is great, the front desk is great, the play area is great, am sure most of the teachers are great too, but not all of them. I dont want to name names here, but at least the two out of the three educators my son had in Pre-K need a lesson in compassion, reasoning, and grammar. Their management need a lesson in weeding out these educators who are going to ruin the business one review at a time. They need to start enforcing access codes on the main door, almost anyone can walk in anytime without a code. Lastly, please look up grace and TEC, I dont have an issue with a grace before meal, but does it have to involve God, and if you were going to shove belief on my kid at least take my permission. In my honest recommendation, try them out but keep an eye on them until your kid and you are comfortable with the educator he/she gets.

Kids R Kids Franz Road has been a part of our family since 2012. I say family because they quickly became that to us ever since we enrolled our first son there at 3 months old in August of 2012. He is now 7 and will be going into the 2nd grade. He still attends KRK morning with bus drop off to school and after school care with bus pick up. Such a convenient thing for our family as his elementary does not allow drop off until after the time my husband and I are both required to be at our jobs. It was clear from the start how much the teachers and staff love all the children there and curriculum begins in the infant room with sensory learning and reading. All the way through is education at KRK he progressed and excelled at all stages, knowing his colors and ABCs at 1 year, quickly becoming potty trained at 2 years and even testing up into their Kindergarten Prep class at age 4. He is now in the Gifted and Talented program at his elementary school. When we had our second son in March 2017, we had no doubt that he would be welcomed and loved by everyone there. He is now in the 2 year old class and loves every minute of it! If there have ever been any issues that have come up, however few, they were quickly addressed and resolved with understanding and speed. We love being able to log in to the camera system when we are at work to see how they are doing at any time of day. We also loved the transparency of all aspects from change in ownership a few years ago to the fact that all classrooms have glass walls and doors. We feel our children are well protected with the secure finger print check in and out system that they have at the front desk and friendly front desk staff that is always there to greet you with a smile. We definitely cannot say enough about the leadership team of Ms. Meredith, Ms. Gloria and Ms. Jean. They are so amazing and we appreciate them and all they do so much! We highly recommend this Kids R Kids location to everyone!

Back in November 2017 my daughter was enrolled at the Kids R Kids Stafford location since she was 3 years old. My job had me move to a closer location to my house so I figured I would enroll my daughter at the Kids R Kids Franz road since the location was minutes from my house. My husband went in uniform (police) to check out the location prior to our daughter attending the facility. They were so nice and welcoming to him. He paid all the necessary fees and my daughter was enrolled on that Friday.Monday I was off of work so I could be with my daughter on her first day. We bought the red shirts like we were insisted. I had a blanket and pillow in my daughters back pack for her nap time. I think they were under the impression that I was going to just drop my daughter off and leave... NOT. The lady at the desk (short plump middle age white women) appeared to have an attitude because I asked to see the room my daughter would be in. She sent me to a class room where children were barely able to hold a pencil. My daughter who had just turned 5 was already writing her name. Even the teacher told me she needed to go into the classroom with the 5 year olds. So I went back to the front and told the lady at the desk and she was fuming at the thought of putting my child the 5 year old class. She then told me that my daughter has to be tested and I told her o.k. but I would like to be present in the building when it happen. She told me that she was busy and dont exactly know what time she could do the testing. I told her o,k, but to call me so I could come back up to the facility. The lady called me around 10 a.m. and said that my daughter would be tested at 11. I told her that I would be there. I arrived at 10:45 a.m. and entered the building. When I walked to the desk the same women was eating a salad and became disgusted with me and said I told you 11 a.m. I told her I have no problem waiting. At 11 a.m. she went and got my daughter and had her do some papers. My question who said this is a test to pass someone to the next class. So she went into the managers office which has glass doors all the way around and I could see I think her name is Meredith look over the papers an shake her head like no. So fatty comes out and says no your daughter cant go into that room. With the attitude from her I decided this is not a place for my child. I asked for my weeks tuition and my deposit. They were able to give me my tuition for the week but said they cant give me the deposit back. By now I am super pissed. I got my child and left the facility. I thought it was all behind us until we got to the stop light and my daughter said mommie I have to tell you something. I said what and she stated they made her sleep on the hard floor, no blanket nor pillow that was in her bag. I asked did they give you a mat and she said no I slept on the cold floor with my face. I was livid. I called them and gave them a piece of my mind. I then called the Kids R Kids in Stafford and spoke to the manager and told him what happen.Again I thought it was over but later that night I received a call from the owner. If it wasnt that bad do you think the owner would have called at 8:30 p.m. She apologized and stated she reviewed the cameras and saw my daughter lying on the cold floor and is really sorry and she has disciplined the teacher. My thought yea right. She said the teacher was just being lazy, and should have called for a mat from the front. She then said her two daughters attended the school and never had a problem. I thought you are the owner and the boss your children wont have any issues. She refunded me my deposit and pleaded with me to bring my daughter back. Not NO but HELL NO. My daughter will not be a target.

This company posted an ad on Craigslist in search of new employees for ALL POSITIONS so I submitted my resume. I recieved two calls in regards to my inquiry and agreed to come in for an interview on 12/27/17 at 2:30 pm with Merideth (I recieved the second call on 12/26/17 around 6:00 pm). Upon arrival (ON TIME) I approached the receptionist and told her the reason for my visit. At that point she asked that I have a seat and wait a moment. She went into Merideths office (her office had glass doors and walls so she could clearly see me) where she was told “ We have already filled the position, tell her we are sorry.” The receptionsist delivered the message very kindly and asked that I leave. Now if they had filled then position thats fine, but many things threw me for a loop. 1) I was called the NIGHT BEFORE with what sounded like desperation. Its hard to believe everything was good that quickly. 2) My interview was never cancelled or rescheduled. Merideth never called me to say never mind. 3) They were hiring for ALL positions, not just ONE. Even during the phone call I was told they had miltiple positions to choose from. Its impossible that ALL positions were filled overnight. Not to mention the advertisements posted around the building stating that they were still hiring for all positions. My guess is Merideth seen me and drew a judgement or prejudice (I was the ONLY black person in the building). No-one even talked to me or gave me a chance to see if I was a fit. Merideth could not even come out and dismiss me herself. Very rude, unprofessional, and in my opinion discriminatory. I am more than qualified, well mannered, educated and my appearance is clean. I am not usually one to pull the race card, but I feel very strongly about my assumption in this case. My time, effort, and energy was not considered or valued in the least bit. 😡☹️
