I when to Happy achers from the age of 11 all the way to 20 as a assistant ridding instructor with Lorraine Roe who is the instructor I have ever had. I miss camp very much and would recommend this camp for all children and parents. This camp made it me The person I am today! I love them all so much for everything!

My children are the fourth generation of kids in my family to attend Happy Acres summer camp. They have a special place in my heart. This is a true camp experience with all of the dirt that comes with being outside. My kids come home covered in dirt from head to toe, and so so tired. But most importantly, they come home happy.

All of my children have gone here and they love it! its such a great place. Teachers and staff are so caring. The staff comes back year after year so always a familiar face to see. Its a place where your kids can be kids. Mine come home covered in dirt from playing outdoors. They have horses and animals, nature walks, lakes pools. Its one of the best daycares/summer camps here!

The front office is ridiculous. Expect to take time off work because you cannot register until you take a tour as they need you to know that the kids do not watch tv but play in dirt. Tours are only on Tuesdays and Thursdays during work hours. Even if you drive there, like I did, on a different day, you will not get a tour and be turned away. My child will NOT experience the camp because of how ridiculous the administration is. I hope you are more patient than I am.

Front office is such a mess, disorganized and poor business tactics. I was referred by a friend there, and after taking a tour, it seems like a decent environment for kids to explore outdoors. But unfortunately it is not run well.

Here is the bottom line up front – my family has loved the experience at Happy Acres. Specifically I think we are probably a somewhat demanding family. I have three children that attend happy acres in various programs, and they each are incredibly different – and incredibly happy with their time with Ms. Dell and her crew. When I pick them up early, which is somewhat rare, all three of them voice their disappointment with having to go home before they are through with their activities. I would offer that I was saddened the first time they asked me not to get them early, but it is amazingly comforting that they enjoy themselves so much they want to stay.I will say nearly every day they come tired and dirty, but VERY happy. We are so glad we have found Happy Acres!

Ive lived in Jax my whole life and have never heard of this place and nobody at our party has either. But this was a breath of fresh air from the normal birthday party venues. We had our sons 4th birthday party here and it was really wonderful! We were booked for a 3 hour party. The kids really enjoyed the pony rides! The petting zoo was cool and wasnt as big of a hit as I expected but they enjoyed seeing the animals. The playground was the biggest hit of all. They all got to run wild, just be kids and the older boys played basketball on the court. We planned organized games but the kids had such a great time between the pony rides and playground we ran out of time! There were clean bathroom facilities, nice picnic tables, and plenty of seating. We had a large party with probably 40 people, half were kids and the facilities accommodated us well! Excellent place for a party for kids or a family function if the weather is good. We had beautiful weather and we thoroughly enjoyed it!I would rate it 5 stars but there was a long board with rusty nails about 1.5-2 inches long face up on the ground between the petting zoo area and pony rides right where the kids were running around. Thank God my husband found it before anybody got hurt! With so many kids around this establishment on a day to day this should not be a concern. If you book your party here, remember, It is a farm so have someone walk the grounds to check for hazards like these. Also there were flies that made it difficult to keep the food and cakes uncovered on the buffet table. But I was able to eat my food with no problems. Some flies should be expected considering its a farm!We will definitely consider this place for future events! I loved it!

As much as I loved this Daycare a year ago, I will say in the year my son has been enrolled it has been a headache and gone drastically down hill in regards to his care. They changed around classrooms and lost lost 2 of his sippy cups but arent concerned about it because they use an open cup now for him, they changed sign in and sign out systems which almost consistently have parents listed as behind on payments (most for me has been 6 weeks) when brought to their attention they just spew something about oh the old system needs to update the new system. Also he was moved classes (yes I was contacted and agreed to the class change) and when concerns were brought to management, Im not sure if it was ignored or they just dont care. Parents of the non school age children are not informed on much going on in the classroom. They update Facebook constantly on the VPK and school kids but never for kids not enrolled in VPK or school. Overall I feel its a place better suited for School kids rather than as a caring infant/toddler program.
