My daughter attends this school and was spat on by 2 kids and basically nothing was done except the kids being lectured by the principal they didnt really suffer no consequence for there actions and my daughter did nothing wrong to them. The only reason the kids got a referral was because I kept complaining about them facing some type of consequence for there action in the end im still not happy im still very angry nothing was done.

ITS AWESOME I LOVE IT I GO THERE IM IN 5TH GRADE LOVE IT NO BAD FIGHTS AND I LOVE THE TEACHERS THERE NICE WALLS I ❤ THIS SCHOOL

This is year 3 for us an we are getting switched for the 3rd time we are only in second grade every year they cry about budget cuts i always end up with a good teacher an then we end up with the teacher of our nightmares my sons in the speech program an these people get extra money for kids who attend speech yet we are always losing our teacher they claim they dont have enough kids attending this year to keep our second grade teacher whos new to brookview an we love her an just that quick shes gone again this will be the last year my son attends this school ... On a side note katie the principle is a rude uncaring thank god shes having a baby so we wont see her alot but i bet her 6 to 8 weeks of being off is gonna end up being paid time while shes gone being paid we lose our teacher when i wish we could just get rid of her an cut most of our cost by not paying for her Lexus SUV

Not a fan of this school. My niece was spat on by a couple of siblings and the Vice Principal basically treated it like thats what kids do. My kids nor does my niece just spit on people. That is not normal and definitely not tolerated. She only wrote the kids up because she felt pressured. I am not happy with the results and will go to the school board tomorrow to see what can be done and if not then News4Jax it is!!!!

This review excludes my sons teacher, Mrs. Meloni..she was great, but unfortunately not administration or the principal. The second star here is hers.My son has ADHD causing some behavioral issues, and they had no idea how to help him. They gave up quickly, and made that obvious. He had to be sent to a different school where he began thriving on the first day. In the meeting where he was transferred, I met the principal for the FIRST time. She said nothing..just sat quietly eating peanuts. The vice principal whom I primarily dealt with, was not present..made no sense. Mrs. Sclafani (vice principal) and once the guidance counselor, would ask ME do you want us to give him detention? as if its MY job to determine that. They then would insert guilt by saying it would suck for us to stay after, but we will if you want us to I guess hoping Id say no...LAZY. Because of this, they would call me on his first offense of any kind to pick him up, as early as 9am, and once by Sclafani simply because a substitute teacher was present..he hadnt done anything yet. They gave up 2 months in.When my son would complain of being BULLIED, he would be reprimanded for leaving the line or talking out loud in class. He was prejudged because of his own behavior issues and told right in front of me the staff did not believe him by saying youre the only one who saw that, youre the only one saying that, or so..he hit you for no reason? sarcastically. Mrs. Sclafani essentially coached him by interrupting his account of events with telling him what SHE believed happened clearly wanting him to say it THAT way, or after his report sarcastically saying ok.. I had to interrupt her once saying wait..please..let him tell his story, I want to hear it. Otherwise she would not have let him finish.My son did not do homework for a month, and no one said a word. The only phone calls I got were to pick him up for anything he did, even pushing over a chair on one occasion. He was sent home immediately.If your child has any issues, they dont stand a chance here. The staff is bias and lazy.

My daughter goes here. Excellent school

It is a good school because I used to go there

Because kids curse there .And they get in fights.And the teachers dont care they just sit there and text onthere phones.

I think it is a good scholl becase to people wont it to fight me but they dont tolarte that

Brookview is fun and its a great school for me

I use to go to Brookview in K-3 but I moved to AL and now Im in 5th and I want to go back

I once went there and it was sucky kids will fight and they would bring phones and throw rocks it sucked I hated it.

Traffic slow and kids everywhere
