Kumon helps my kid reading and math skills in school above and beyond. She learns a habit of reading and solves math problems very well. Ms Latha and her team provide the excellent service for the students. Thank you Kumon because my kid believes in herself and more confident in her skills.

The Kumon staff is amazing. My children are learning skills that are at least a grade level above their actual school grade level. They jave also helped my children become more confident in their skills.

This place left a really bad taste in my mouth. The atmosphere seems as if it only caters to kids of Indian race. The way the head instructor spoke with the kids of African American race versus those that were Indian is completely different. The atmosphere did not seem like a place I would want to bring my child. My child was not given the opportunity to become a student due to “discipline”, even though he sat with one of the instructors and did not get up not once during his assessment. Keep in mind I have a young African American son who is 3 1/2 years old. I’m sure if he was Indian it would be a different story. The enrollment age starts at 3 years old by the way. Overall, everything happened for a reason. The environment the head instructor has created I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are other great tutoring services in Jacksonville. Parents do not bring your kids here, unless your Indian of course.

With the pandemic Kumon has been essential to making sure my son stays in engaged in his educational studies since schools afeclosed.

We are happy to have our kids enrolled in SouthSide Kumon Center. They are progressing well in both Reading and Math and it has helped them at school as well. Thanks to Ms. Latha and Ms. Lalitha!

During this Pandemic situation, kumon at Baymeadows Jax is well prepared to handle and at the same time, providing virtual lessons to students to learn and complete their assessments.

As a student helped me progress with my math and reading skills beyond grade level.

We are so happy about Kumon. Staff Lalitha and Latha are very cooperative and always ready to help in answering any questions we have regarding study materials. It’s repetitive book but helpful for kids.Thank you all for your support. 😊

Great place! I am a former student of Kumon and I genuinely believe it has helped me progress in school and beyond. Great instructors and great methods.

All it took was one visit.I arrived early to my appointment and was made to wait a half hour in their very hot lobby. During my wait I asked the three parents present what they thought of the place, they said they HATED THE PLACE; I shouldve left then.I was finally called in to meet the head instructor (who never introduced herself); the most rude, dismissive and repugnant individual I have ever met.During her 7 minute tour she repeatedly interrupted me and bulldozed the entire conversation. At the end, she said if you have any questions ask her and pointed in a general direction where no one stood.This place seems toxic. I would not expose any child to such an environment.

As a parent, my 1st experience during orientation was not favorable from the instructor. My 5-year old daughter and I are African American. After my daughter tested, the instructor sat with me to go over her results which she said were significantly higher than most Kindergarteners her age. During that time, there was very little eye-contact from her and I felt she rushed through the material she covered, as well as the questions I had. It was as though she was annoyed and was not interested in answering anymore of my questions. Her behavior was uncomfortable and rude in my opinion. She repeatedly kept asking me, do you have anymore questions literally after each question I asked. I felt pressured, so much so, that the conversation was ended prematurely with the feeling of not ever returning, even though location would have been perfect for my schedule. Upon leaving, I asked if I could keep the test results so I can share with my husband, she then replied in such a negative/nasty tone saying, no, you did not pay for it. It was a humiliating experience as her tone was loud enough for other staff members to hear. I wasnt aware one couldnt keep the material. The environment also appeared to be primarily Indian and some caucasian students. No African American students were present during our time between 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. on a Monday. First impression was not great at all, so I have no plans to return to that location.

Excellent Center, My child was having problems at school with his grades, thanks to the Kumon Math Center he has exceeded his 4th grade classmates.

This place has helped my third grader complete Pre-Algebra already and move on to higher Algebra concepts- already 4 grades ahead of grade level
