Karen and the Armstrong Team put forth great effort to make dance possible during this pandemic. It is SO great that my daughter has this in her life right now!! The socialization, activity and connectedness is priceless. Can’t thank you all enough!!

Highly recommend! Staff is always courteous and welcoming. In my 26 years of having interaction with the studio we have always had a positive experience. I have 3 children that have been dancing since they were 3 years old. When the studio closed due to Covid I was so pleased with the communication and effort to continue to provide instruction via zoom. It gave my children some normalcy. My daughter graduated this year and she was devastated that she was not going to have her last performance. Karen found a way for them to still perform by thinking outside the box and staying within guidelines. We are so thankful for our dance family!

Karen and her staff were very professional during this difficult time with the coronavirus and accommodating. They kept their confidence and passion alive providing zoom classes for students and managed to give the kids a year end recital safely staying within the guidelines. Im impressed with Karen and her staff and completely trust her with educating students and reopening safely.

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Unprofessional conduct. Staff was consistently rude and disrespectful Very poor response during covid. They arrange zoom make up classes on weekdays during work hours when parents are working and kids cannot attend. They refuse to offer credits for future enrollment for those who cannot attend makeup classes. Do not waste your money and choose somebody who respects their clients.

My daughter has danced at Armstrong since she was 3. Her confidence has grown in leaps and bounds. Each teacher she has had encourages her and helps her to improve in her dance abilities. She had made friends through the classes and has flourished under the loving teaching style she receives there. The team dancers help teach the younger students and my daughter looks up to those girls as well. The costumes that are chosen for recital are reasonably priced and more importantly reflect age appropriate styles that enhance the performance as well as maintaining tasteful attire for children of all ages. When anyone asks me where my child dances I happily reply Armstrong School of Dance.

Growing up dancing under Karen’s instruction was the most impactful experience I’ve ever had. I’m thankful and proud to be part of the ASD family many years later. Karen never fails to provide a professional demeanor and tasteful atmosphere for all students who attend. Her knowledge of dance is infinite and admirable. She makes the experience personable and fun for each and every student. The year end recital is nothing short of fabulous, and the hard work put in all year by the dancers and staff truly shines. I couldn’t imagine being part of another studio! Thank you Karen!

I do not recommend this school. The treat their customers like they are a dime a dozen. They are more interested in making money then actually teaching their students to dance. It is a low quality experience for the money. My sister sends her child to a similar school in NJ, and her experience could not be more different and positive. I guess when you think you are the only game in town you dont have to invest energy in customer service.

I really want to like this place more, but they really, REALLY need to expand or find a new facility. The waiting area is tiny, anxiety-provoking and seats 6-7, not nearly enough to fit the parents of one class, let alone two.I also dont like the closed blinds policy and ONLY getting to see my daughter dance once during the season. I realize the place is tiny and parents can be a distraction, but it cant be that difficult to find a way for parents to watch. I find this very strange.Management seems nice, a bit uptight at times, but they seem conservative so it sort of goes with the territory I guess...

The staff and students are a joy to be around and the confidence I’ve gained through dance and through Karen’s teachings have carried me beyond my time at ASD. I love the studio and it will always be a second home to me.

My daughter has been dancing at ASD for 6 years and we couldnt be happier! She has progressed beautifully in her skills and has had wonderful teachers.
