I found Irving kidz academy when I suddenly found myself without a sitter due to an unimaginable emergency. It’s never easy to find and trust some with your children let alone in a weeks time, but that is exactly what happened! Ms. Autumn And Ms. Ashley gave me more than enough confidence that my two daughters would be taken care of and loved on. The distance, time and accommodations where perfect for my needs. My children love the teachers and new friends. I have direct contact and cell phone numbers for the director and Ms. Ashley. I have always had prompt communication and never a single issues with my girls. Children are children and I know mine very well.They have been in some form of child care since 3 months old and with many children. Bumps and scratches from running, playing and rough housing with other children are par for the course. I am sincerely grateful for Ms Autumn and all her staff for taking care of our children and providing a safe place to grow and thrive while we work. When your children come running out with huge smiles on there faces daily, you made the right choice. I give my full recommendation without hesitation!

My son attends this daycare and absolutely loves it! Ive frequently dealt with Miss Ashley and she is super fun and professional and immediately made sure that my son was comfortable.My son also loves his other teachers, the kids, and the structure. Every day he tells me how much fun he has had and how happy he is. Weve gone to other daycares and my son has hated them, but he is really fond of this one.I absolutely would suggest this Daycare to anyone.

Amazing care and childcare facility!! Ran by very wonderful people. Very friendly and personable with fair rates. My son raved daily about his teachers and the fun things they did each day. Hands down best choice in Irving!!!As far as some negative comments on here go.... The staff has NEVER been rude to us. My husband and myself have switched up drop off and pickups and it has never been an issue. They told us of any incidents daily. My sons went here for 2 years and not a single issue needed further escalation beyond the teacher telling us what happened. Hes a boy, and sometimes boys play hard. Im glad he was able to make friends, play and learn. If we were to continue homeschooling, no doubt about it this is where I would take him. My son was able to skip a grade due to the amazing teachers they have here. Truly a blessing to find such wonderful people who make you feel like family.

For the active fathers out there, please show your face and or let them hear your voice. After so many times of my wife being brushed off; it seems that will be THEE ONLY time theyll listen when a man steps into the picture. I can only assume that this establishment is used to parents who dont really check in on their children. Our daughter has came home with a different scratch and or pinch mark on her face every other day during her 3rd week attending. When my wife asked what happened, their response would be oh she was running around and fell, however she had a good day! How in the hell can our child be having a good day coming home with a different mark on her face!? Once I got involved we sat had a conference with the director. Somehow the director had the answer as to what was happening to our child. So yeah theyll lie to you in your face about your childs whereabouts. Pretty much another child from a different class was scratching our childs face up. Instead of simply apologizing and trying to prevent it from happening to another child, the directors excuse was but theyre 2! Not to mention, the last morning dropping our child off, one of the employees tried to say to my wife, oh it looks like she came here with a new mark on her face. So at that point in time they tried to place blame on us. Caring parents please do not bring your children here. To the owner, your good reviews mean nothing. Im well known here on Google map reviews, and my reviews are VERY honest and the people know it!

I’m going to start by saying the staff is nice, never felt they were being rude! They don’t hound you about payments or pick ups or anything. One thing that I didn’t like was that they don’t really allow parents in the building, but I completely understand because of Covid. They check temps at the door, but my child still ended up catching a virus within 2 weeks of being at the center. He’s always been home with me so he’s never been sick before. The other downside for me was that my child would come home with marks that couldn’t be explained. I’d be told I’d get a call from the director, but would have to end up calling again because I wouldn’t get a call. I never got a straight forward answer about where the markings came from, I was instead told maybe I should find a daycare with more teachers in the classrooms so they could keep a closer eye on my child because this is a “small center”. Again, the director and her daughter Ms. Ashley are both really nice. I’ve considered that maybe I had first time mom syndrome, but I didn’t like the lack of communication. But Everyone’s experience will be different.

We have been taking our daughter here for months now due to our previous care center’s constant Covid closures and cost. They have been nothing but loving towards her. I appreciate how informed they keep us on incidents as she’s a toddler with the usual adventurous spirit. In comparison to other local daycares, we have an increased appreciation to their parental involvement, reliability, hours, and reasonable rates. Our daughter is always so excited to “go to school”. We just had our second son and will be enrolling him as well very soon. Thank you Ms. Autumn & staff for treating our baby as your own!

My daughter has been enrolled at this place for 2 days. Yes 2 days and I’m already ready to write a review she has thrown a fit about leaving both days. She is so eager to go to school and was extremely comfortable the very first day. I have kept my daughter with me for a year straight due to covid so this definitely eases my mind knowing she is in great hands. Appreciate the friendly and caring staff.

Kidz Academy is an amazing institution for kids. I just enrolled my second son and he seems to like it a lot, just like his older brother did..My oldest son attended Irving Kidz Academy for 3 years and had an amazing learning experience at the Academy. He still remembers his teachers and care givers by name.As a kid, my son was very difficult, picky and would cry at anything. There were occassional bumps and bruises from kids playing around which is normal. I received a comprehensive report on my child whenever there was an incident.I dont think there are any daycare without occassional incidents. The most important thing is that I was informed of all occurrences.My oldest son enjoyed his time at Kidz Academy and I believe his younger brother would too. The Academy has offered them a chance to build a strong social life, learn the basics of interacting with other kids as well as being potty trained. Thank you Kidz Academy

Miss Autum and Miss Ashley are AMAZING as well as rest of the staff. We take our 2 grandaughters and they absolutely love it. They are happy when we drop them off and always and happy when we pick them up. The other kids are always happy as well. Its a long day away from home and its nice to know thatthey are so well cared for. You can see that they truly care for the children in their care. Its nice to have peace of mind and not worry about how theyre being treated and cared for. I appreciate them and all they do.

Very good people, so professional . My boys only been there a few month and my baby loves it! This is the first daycare he’s went to without throwing a fit or crying when being dropped off . He hate to leave . Me . Autumn always inform me when their are incidents dealing with them and also him me improve their behavior skills, they really take pride in the kids there ❤️❤️ Very good place .

My daughters last day was 4/30 and she was only there for not even 3 weeks. My child actually started at kids r kids which is a great daycare. We ended up having that winter storm and due to pipe burst all parents had to take there kids else where for the time being. With working parents i needed somewhere fast. I gave this daycare a chance despite the look of it. Her first day i dropped her off and i seen kids in the room that looked older than 2. Me and her dad actually never got a tour of this daycare due to trying to find somewhere last minute. Fine, first week my daughter got the stomach virus soon as i picked her up on a Wednesday she mentioned her tummy hurt and as soon as we drove off the lot she threw up all over the car so she was out 2 days after that. I called up there and spoke to autum and told her that since she has left she has been vomiting and her response was “EWWW” before her remark. I then asked what did they have to eat for school that day and asked for a menu. She then tries and ask is that related to a covid symptom? Without even trying to consider that my daughter could have possibly got the stomach bug attending her care! Second thing is that my daughter was constantly coming home with a raw bottom and was crying and screaming and wouldn’t allow me to touch or clean down there, which means her diapers were not being changed enough. I bought it to there attention. Second week. I ended up picking up my daughter and as I’m putting her in the car seat i notice her right hand was SWOLLEN! I then pull back her sleeve and she has a very small blue hair rubber band on her wrist!!! This was IT for me. I could barely take the rubber band off because of how small it was and how BIG her hand was so i immediately did my best to remove it fast as my daughter started wining. I took my daughter out the car and went back to the door to show them her hand and gave them this rubber band that i found on her. First thing that flew out of Autums mouth this isn’t yours? Mean while she is missing that my daughter hand and arm was loosing blood circulation the entire day and no one noticed! No mam we do not carry those type of hair bands at home! From that moment me and her dad immediately started considering other daycares. This was the end of it. Oh wait I’m not finished. My 2 year old also kept coming home and mentioning that a boy is hitting her in the face and right after the rubber band situation she kept coming home with not only scratches but her face look like some one has been pinching her and leaving nail marks. The next day I’m picking her up Autum mentions my daughter has a little scratch from the kids playing. So as my daughter is walking out FIRST thing i see is a KNOT on her forehead before i seen the scratch! I stated oh well where did the knot come from on her forehead. They proceeded to say “oh she didn’t have that before she came?” I said of course not then moving on to the scratch that was mentioned i stated that it looked like more than a scratch. Autums response was “a scratch is a scratch” second 🚩 mind you this is coming from the DIRECTOR Autum!! Anyways i picked up my daughter the next following day with a NEW mark on her face. (Pinches is what they look like) This same day i had my daughters father call in because i felt things weren’t being handled and down played. I get to the door after work and director came out and said she wanted to do a conference. Cool! Just up my alley!!! At this point let’s discuss this new Mark in the meeting so i left and didn’t mention yet my child has another mark on her face. I show up the next morning to drop off my daughter and the teacher diamond is at the door who watches the kids. Hey why not talk to the source this girl watches my child! Which she wasn’t any different and had a whole attitude. Ghetto and unprofessional. Just imagine constantly getting reports that your daughter is having a “good day” but yet she is coming home with marks on her face?!For anyone reading this i just simply do not recommend this place. This is only half of story.

My kids love it here, I love it here....Staff is very friendly and attentive to the kids. When it comes to our children we have very high expectations and this daycare has met all of them. I have had zero problems and if i did they were immediately resolved. Mrs. Autumn is a very good director and cares for her staff and kids as well. I am so impressed to find Irving Kidz Academy, the owner was God sent to me and many others . I appreciated every staff at this daycare, they are all awesome! This is the best daycare I have ever been too, they helped me with my precious daughter, Ms Favor. The owner Ms Autumn is so pleasant with a great heart ❤️, she will work with you especially with parents who are struggling financially. God bless her heart of giving and love .I also appreciated the fact that, it’s a Christian Daycare. They pray over your children and teach them good manners. What else can I ask for, I am so blessed coming across Ms Autumn and Irving Kidz Academy.

Our daughter has been enrolled here for over a year now and we have had a great experience from the start. She is always happy to go to school and I always feel at ease dropping her off for the day. We have good interaction and communication with the teachers and the director.

My son has been attending Irving Kidz Academy since Oct 2018. I loved the fact that he is eager to return the next day and loves his friends and teachers. Never once have I had a problem with the staff or any parents. The owner is very polite, understanding, fair and approachable. Ive recommended this daycare to friends and one has enrolled her son and another will in the fall. The prices are reasonable for what they provide. Great hours for parents who work early of late. I also like that the pre K kids wear a uniform because it gives the parents one less thing to worry about. My son will be attending kindergarten this year but will always return in the summer. Hello, Im a mother of 2 children that goes to this daycare and I would like to say that this daycare IS THE BEST and has the most cooperative teachers in there . I love them all ! They are good with all the children and whoever says otherwise can kick rocks! Ive had several times where I picked up my kids after 7p and they never once charged me. Not saying that is an OK thing but I always call and let them know why and they fully understand. Never once gave me attitude or any problems . My kids love this daycare and although its not the prettiest I can say they are probably the cleanest ! I highly recommend this place 👍🏼

My son has been attending Irving Kidz Academy for a little over 4 months. The staff has been friendly and very understanding. It feel as though Im dropping my son off with family each morning. Their extended hours are great for parents like myself who might have to work overtime and can make it to the center everyday at 4 pm or 5 pm. My son is 2 and is getting better at sharing, playing with other children, and is excited to go to daycare each morning. We couldn’t be happier with our decision!

This one has had to be one of the best Ive gone to. All the teachers are wonderful. Ive actually been here for a couple years. Love that my kids are looking fwd to going back the next day, my kids have also learned alot from manners, praying before meals, to academically. Director Ms. Autum will for sure help you in any way she can to get you taken care of. My kids will probably outgrow this daycare!

I’ve known Mrs. Autumn for almost a decade, and she’s always run a very friendly and responsible daycare. I love that the daycare closes a little later, and the kids are fed dinner - which is an added bonus for sure! If you’re looking for affordable care for child that you can trust, definitely give them a call.

My kids having been coming to this daycare for 13 years. This is their second home away from home. The staff have treated my kids like their own. Most of the teachers have been there since day one.I love the new location. Bigger building and parking.Highly recommended.

I tried to get a tour of the daycare and the owner Autumn was nice but didn’t seem to care to give me much info about the place since the age group my child needed to be in was full. I even asked her could I have some info about tuition just Incase in the future if they have something available I would know and she just blurted out the price. I’ve toured multiple daycares and even if the place wasn’t taking anymore kids they still took the time to give me info and tour around just Incase a spot becomes available and they could get me right in. From what I saw the place seemed cleaned.

Im happy my son been there for a week and he loves it he used to cry at his old daycare I brought him here the first day he was a bit iffy n yea hes 3 just turned three n then after two days he dont cry and he enjoys coming here . It brings me so much comfort knowing my son is happy while Im at work ! I highly recommend

My kids has been attending Irving Kidz Academy for 4 months now and they enjoy attending. My oldest is 5 and my youngest is 1. The teachers truly do care about the children and I never have to worry when they are in their care.

Im one of those parents who is overprotective, so scared to let my child start day care He is 3, for a while he has been saying mommy I want to go to school so for his 3rd birthday this year in March I enrolled him in school I took it harder than him when I sign him in he runs right on in and I go in the car crying lol (for the 1st two weeks), but this facility is awesome my son LOVES it he comes home with a story everyday, they have security cameras, security access doors, the last two weeks I have been behind on tuition Ms.Autumn has been so patient with us the late fees are TRULY reasonable DEFINITELY NOT MONEY HUNGRY!! I’m so glad I have found my son a school and be at peace knowing he is in good hands! Also a woman i work with has had her son here for years it is the same staff, great energy they update me everyday when I pick him up on how his day went so I’m one happy Mommy!

We love Irving Kidz Academy my kids have been here for years hyper allergies sensitive skin and all they love them like their own and handle everything no problem they love coming and seeing Ms autumn and Ms Ashley there teachers Ms donnisha and Ms londria every day they come and ask when they get to see their teachers again and even ask to go to daycare on the weekends too Best daycare in Irving very affordable and willing to help you out with prices and difficult children

Best Christian based daycare around with the cheapest prices staff is nice they serve breakfast lunch snack and dinner there open till 7 and the owner is always cutting deals helping out families she has a beautiful heart I would definitely recommend this center

We thank you Tara Bunch for your contribution. We do have security access doors where only authorized parents and personnel can access. It was unfortunate that she had to come open the door. It litteraly takes 10 seconds to open that door but that is still a concern. I did investigate and when she was trying to assist you she was going across the hall to ask another teacher to watch her class again 5 feet away. I wish that you would have brought to my attention immediately then i could have addressed the situation sooner i just happened to be checking to see if i had any new reviews. So this was helpful and we will take precautions that this does not happen again. But please check our licensing record with the state we have been in business since 2005 and do not have any incidents or injuries.

I don’t even know where to begin. They are very money hungry to say the least. Took my child 2-3 days a week and still paid full tuition, which is fine. The director and owner, Autumn, is the same individual who left her own reviews on this ad so that is a red flag in itself (those reviews were the only reason I took him). I like to work with people and in a field as such that’s what you have to do. Have explained my situation over and over to these people as being new to the area, single mom of 3, I live in Frisco, but work in Irving, and have always took my son to the daycare between 10-1030 for over a year due to my schedule. Now all of a sudden it’s an issue. I would literally be robbed by this daycare. He would not even go on Mondays, then, she wanted late fees if I didn’t cash app the money to her on Monday. Mind you he’s always went on Tuesdays aside from in the very beginning. Never carried a balance, always paid on time when he arrived on Tuesdays and even on Mondays when he was absent I would just send the money to avoid having to share words with her. The icing on the cake was when she would come to me saying “you didn’t send it” before checking or “you know it’s late” and I already had sent the money. And then the last straw was calling her on a Thursday and letting her know that I was getting something delivered and would be arriving around 1026, mind you, he had only been one day that week, for her to say no he can’t come with full tuition paid and all. So you mean to tell me I paid $120 for one day. That’s disgusting and that’s not the first time. I would never do that to someone. Do not send your child or children there, that’s not how you want to be treated nor how you should be treated if you are paying for a service. I tried to deal with it as long as I could because of being new to the area and convenience to my commute to work, but that’s done. Even with being forthcoming and communicative, everything was an issue. Who wouldn’t want to make an easy $120 for 2/3 days a week from an easy and pleasant child. There’s more things I could say, such as the etiquesy, appearance, demeanor, mannerism, professionalism, broke key cards, etc. but I won’t go into detail. You don’t even get a summary or activity report of your child at the end of the daycare day. I wish them the best, but not again. Some people are just not fit for the business. I’m not a complaining mother either, prior to her being at the daycare there was another lady who ran it and I much rather would have liked to deal with her on a daily. Oh and they are not open till 7, they close at 630, which is another sudden change.

I stopped by this morning around 8:10 to see about enrolling my 5 yr. old son. The women that answered the door was polite and as we turned the corner we came across a class room the kids must have been 3 yr not sure of the age group some were sitting quitely others were running around the class and yelling!! Liability right there and accident waiting to happen why because there was No Teacher!!!!! # 1 big No No with the State leaving children unsupervised!!!! I asked her oh there is no teacher her response oh I had to open the door then take your class with you dont leave them unsupervised!!!! So I asked if they accept children with special needs and informed her what his needs were and she said hold on let me ask and leaves the children again at that point I told her forget it and called state to complain. Moral of story you never know who is going to walk in to your center!!!! Who they know and what they know about childcare and licensing procedures. Your website is awesome which intrigued and I was excited to come and visit and get information on enrolling my son for the summer. But after what I saw I fear for the safety of the children their being unsupervised that was a big red flag. Who knows what other procedures that are state enforced they are not following.

First of all, everyone here looks like they have been gang affiliated at one point in life especially the owner. I got my kids out of here asap. For some reason they cried every morning. Now at the new daycare everything is great. This lady is money hungry more than anything. I saw the OWNER YELLING AND TALKING DOWN ON HER STAFF. Her staff is always in a bad mood because of her. At thos daycare there is a ballroom next to it. The owner of the daycare also owns it. She is more concerned about making money than taking care of the kids. Dont take ur kids here unless u trust ex gang members to watch your kids. Her staff has on seperate occassions told me bad things about the owner and her daughter. Idk if it was true but i took my kids out and never looked back. Because what i had personally seen was enough for me.
