It is an amazing new high school campus that resembles that of a community college campus. The teachers and faculty that Ive personally met our very passionate about their jobs too. Their gymnasium is state-of-the-art and easily host wrestling tournaments, basketball tournaments, and the like with ease.

Allow me to summarize what Grissom High School has become. Teachers hardly teach and depend on the faulty technology we are forced to use by the schools to teach us. The students stretch from those who actually want to learn something to kids who just sit in class or in the bathroom stalls all day. Drugs are so easy to obtain they are basically offered. Theres at least one fight per week. Fire alarm is pulled at least 3 times a week. The staff that is affected by all of this is leaving and the rest dont care. The school is full of mold including inside of the water fountains and have poorly maintained restrooms. Thats all tho. Go Tigers.

This is a tough school. Not in the physical means but challenging. The environment is academically tough. The environment of the school is well lacking but the Gene pool makes it tough. But you get a first rate education. And it is extremely competitive. If youre not then you will no make it.

I just recently graduated from this school. and im not so prepared for college as they said i would. some of the teachers were lazy....and made your failure in their classes your fault. but in hindsight....the school in a general whole was not that bad. my favorite teachers out of the entire school was my choral directors. the one prior to the current choral director retired my freshman year....but she instilled in us that we can be better than what is around us and that we are a family....the current director is the same way...she is a lot younger than the previous one...but she instilled in us the meaning of hard work and pride in what we do. she is every bit the mother that we deemed her to be. Being a tiger was hard. but that doesnt mean this school is not one of the best schools in Huntsville. i am proud to me an alumni of GHS....long live TIGER NATION!

Im a senior and I will remeber my days there. It had its ups and downs. But this is a tough school in the academic field. Teachers have said college will be easier if you go here.

The school is pretty sheit, and drugs are very common. Sams club is probably going to go out of business in a year because of the fights and drug deals going on there. Also racism, but what defines as racism at this point, I said a black kid got his problem wrong, and suddenly im racist.

Drugs are easily available, the administration seems to have no control over students, other than the rather nazi-esque focus on girls dress code (boys are ignored).

Drugs are getting easier and easier to get ahold of people smoke in the bathrooms. people stand up and cuss each other out in class and some teachers dont do anything about it.

The staff members has nasty attitudes. Need to leave personal problems at HOME!! WORSE SCHOOL EVER. IF I COULDVE LET my son stayed at HHS I WOULDVE

They discipline students over stupid stuff if they paid more attention to there staff and what they are letting go of more parents would want there child to attend the school

If the fire alarm is pulled, which is a regular occurrence, EVERYONE is suspected of pulling it and/or interrogated about it.
