Overall a great experience now that we switched instructors. Our new instructor is very good and always reliable.I have a 4 star rating because the initial experience was not great. Our instructor was often out, either sick or on break, etc. consistency is important to our son, especially with something new. We switched instructors as his substitute spent more time with him than his usual instructor. All good now.

Kingwood is so lucky to have this music school! I have three kids that have learned various instruments here, and all the teachers really CARE about them. I can hear them laughing and having fun at the lessons. I also like that they have recitals so the kids can get up on stage and play for a live audience. Its convenient to drop my kids off and have them all take all their lessons at the same time. I would recommend this place to everyone whos ever wanted to try learning music.

I finally fulfilled my lifelong dream and started learning guitar. I love the way they make me feel like anyone can learn, even old beginners like me. Patient and very knowledgeable teachers. Im glad I found this place.

My family loves this place! My kids have learned so much and look forward to their piano and ukulele lessons every week. Their teachers make music fun for them and I couldnt ask for more.

All folks working at the front desk have been wonderful, personable, very professional, and excellent customer service. lesson instructors work best if you are able to match teacher personality with what works best for students. i have one in elementary school and one in middle school and they enjoy their lessons most when the instructors find ways to keep lessons fun, lively, but still educational.

I have 2 children taking lessons here, one for violin, one for guitar. Both of them have fantastic, attentive teachers who are giving them a great foundation in their musical training. We also enjoy seeing them perform in an actual performance hall! We’re very happy with our experience!

I have taken guitar from Mr. Keith for over a year. He has a ton of patience and gives enough variety in each lesson that it makes it enjoyable. Keith and the staff has been great about working around my travel schedule which has been a chore in and of itself. Because there are so many teachers (dozens?), I can highly recommend the school to anyone with no musical background, like me, or to someone of the most advanced skills. Its well worth your time.

This is the best music school I have ever had the pleasure of going to. I can honestly say the people there are so nice, everyone seems so friendly and as if they are part of one big happy family. I have enjoyed my experience here over the years and Im excited to see how they will grow!

My son has taken violin lessons with Ms. Lucy for three years. She is exacting and has helped him strive for excellence in his playing. She has also deepened his appreciation and love for music. We appreciate her and the school.

We love this place! Ive been taking lessons for 5 years with Miss Dorothy and Miss Isabel. Everybody is helpful and friendly, and my parents say that the prices are reasonable. They make learning piano fun!

Kingwood School of Musice has been the perfect fit for our family. They have class times that fit our life and our instructor has been top notch. Our so. Has grown in confidence and ability and we could not be more happy.

My 5 yrs old had a trial violin lesson with Miss Lucy today. My daughter has been so excited about learning and came into the lesson full of excitement but she left disillusioned. My daughter had a difficult time understanding Miss Lucys instructions due to her strong accent (she spoke both but meant bow) to which Miss Lucy loudly turned and asked my husband IN FRONT of my 5 YEAR OLD daughter if she was slow and had trouble learning in school!!!!! Never is this an appropriate question in front of a child...ever. Not that it matters but my 5 year old is bright and without learning disabilities and is set to begin kindergarten this fall. When booking this trial I specifically asked if the teacher had experience with pre school age children and was told she was one of the more Best teachers. How can a woman that CLEARLY has zero experience with early learners be allowed to teach? My child came home in tears not sure about continuing violin lessons due to her awful time with Lucy and asking what it meant to be slow. I AM COMPLETLY AND UTTERLY APPALLED. Please spare your preschoolers spirits and avoid this terrible experience with Lucy.

Musik Garten was great. My son learned about rythms and pitch matching. We had a great time singing and dancing together.
