Sharpstown Swim Club has been a great place for my son to learn how to swim Ms. Reyna is a great instructor who is caring and really enjoys seeing her students succeed. I am very pleased to have her as my sons instructor she gives great feedback.

My son had a really bad experience the first time we took him swim classes. He has feared putting his head under water since then. Since joining the HCS Sharpstown club, he has overcome that fear. Ms Rachel is gentle, attentive and patient with them.

I love this school. The instructors ar all so patient and caring. Even if the child is screaming their lungs out. I wish I could afford to send my kids year round. The student ages range from a few months old to years old.

My daughter has been in swim lessons since she was 6 months old. When she was an infant she had private lessons for safety measures around our pool, but as she got older we tried numerous swim clubs/facilities and this has by far been the most impressive and I have seen the most improvement in my daughters skills as a swimmer. I was very frustrated with instructors “babying” my daughter and not challenging her when it came to teaching her the skills needed to be safe in the pool and swim. Not only do their instructors know what they are doing and how to work with young children, but their staff goes above and beyond to do what they can to help with any customer service situation. I’m so grateful that my friends recommended this place to me when I was voicing my frustrations. Check them out so your little ones can enjoy their upcoming summer in the pool!

Great staff, great instructors. My 4 year old learned to swim there and my 9 year old is refining his skills for swim team. They love it. Get there a little earlier than planned for parking as in a residential area.

We signed up for the three months promotions for the free private lessons. The instructors there were nice, but they had a lot of hidden policies with hidden fees. The teacher will not promote children even if they are at the next level already.I will not go there again because of their hidden policies and hidden fees.

My daughter and I started taking my granddaughter here when she was 8 months old. She is now about to turn 6 and is still participating in swim lessons here. People are amazed at how well she swims when we are at our pool and how she doesnt fear the water. The instructors and staff are awesome and are very watchful of every child. They show lots of love and patience with the children. We love Mr.Grayson !!!!!! I would and have recommended Houston Swim Club to anyone looking to enroll their child in swim lessons. Yes parking is sometimes an issue but there are plenty of streets in the neighborhood to park on. Parking has not been a big issue for us at all. People are always coming and going. You and your staff deserve a 5 star! Thanks for making such progress with Brookelynnin her swimming lessons! And a special thanks to Mr. Grayson!

The adult swim class is beyond horrible. I arrived to large size pool that the deepest end was 5 feet. I was one of three new people out of eight of the group class. Four of them have been going to the class since November and still have trouble with technique with breathing and stroking...thats five months of two classes a week for them. The very first lesson looked promising. The only swim instructor for adults told us just kick and move you hands and by the first lesson you are moving through the water somewhat. Anyone would be excited by that. Fast foward to lesson three. The instructor told us to swim to the end ( this means if you run out of breath underwater, or you get tired, stand up and keep going to the end of the lane) and then backstroke back. I told him I have never floated on my back nor have I ever swam backwards and I am scared. He just said to me, go on your back and swim. Thats when I realized he care about the basics or helping with the fear of swimming. I quit that class that night out of embarrasement and lack of help. I registered with U of H adult swim class for the next month which is so much better. They initially taught you confidence in the water before strokes. They started with front and back float then streamlining. They taught the basics of just being in the water and being at ease which I NEVER learned in the Houston Swim Club on Augustine. Houston swim club is better for adults who know how to swim and just need some fine tuning on technique. They might be great with kids, but DEFINITELY NOT GOOD with first time swimmers or adults with fear.

My daughter can swim the length of the pool in only 8 weeks. This is a no-nonsense swim school much like swimming boot camp. It is hardcore and requires a commitment. The lessons are everyday. They will teach your child first how to survive if they fall in the pool and how to get out. For any family with a pool at home, swim lessons at an early age is a no-brainer. I am confident that if my daughter fell in our pool, she would be okay and be able to get herself out. For a 2.5 year old, I find that VERY impressive. During her first week of lessons she screamed and didnt do anything they told her. Now, in only 8 weeks, she SWIMS and enjoys it. Amazing place. I love it.As for the facility and location. It is not the Houstonian. But I have never felt bothered by the neighborhood or facility. This is a place where you take your kid to learn to swim. You arent taking them there for the looks, amenities, or the neighborhood. If you want a place for that, the Houstonian has swim lessons too. I know a kid the same as as my daughter who had been taking lessons for 1 year at the Houstonian. My daughter could out swim him after just a 4 week stint at HSC. Enough said. I highly recommend this place.

Parking is horrible, property next door has many issues with swim club parking, there are only 7 parking spaces available and approximately 25 to 35 cars, yes that right, guess who gets the overflow residents that live next to pool. Something has to be done, this is driving me crazy.

To be honest I enrolled my children for a 2 week course where they promise you that at that time they will learn to swim a bil lie is not enough time 2 weeks 30 minutes 3 children 10 minutes per child because they are not honest and they tell you that you have to pay more than a course of 2 weeks before they can swim out the truth I do not recommend it to anyone

Excellent place, I highly recommend it. I took my two children ages 6 and 3 daily for 2 weeks and they learned a lot and I will register them for another two weeks. Other than that it was the school that charged the cheapest. Really worth it !!!
