Weve had our girls (2 & 4) here for the summer since their regular fancy preschool only runs 9 month out of the years and we have been SO HAPPY! The girls have had so much fun. Love the diversity. Love the friendly, warm and caring staff. Also, its been so nice not having to make lunches all summer. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing childcare - great and caring staff. Had my two kids (now ages 1.5 and 4) since they were 6 months and 2 years old but moved away and had to chance daycare. We had such an amazing peace of mind knowing that they were in great hands! All the teachers know all the kids’ name and it feels like a big family environment. Director and front desk staff also always make you feel welcome. Kids are still talking about all their teachers!

My child was here for a year (too long). first things first, i want anyone reading this to know - its taken me a week to gather the right words to write this review. i dont mean any harm, i simply want other parents to be aware prior to enrolling their children at the growing tree facility. the cheap route, isnt the best route.my daughter started here when she was three months shy of turning two. for the $900/month price compared to $1300+ in the surrounding areas, i took my chance even though i was skeptical based on the outside appearance and the questionable tour they initially take you on. a main benefit: parents have access to the cameras at all times, however there is not any audio. my biggest warnings: Toma (daycare assistant director) and Marisela (toddler teacher). do not expect any accountability from the staff.from the very beginning, within the first six weeks, she with bit on her arms three times. i literally mean visible scar marks that were so bad, we had to photoshop them out of family photos. in october of 2019, i called a meeting with the owner (Trudy) in hopes of resolving the situation - whether that meant switching my daughter classrooms or finding an alternative for the child consistently causing this harm. as an owner, it was incredibly alarming to me that she didnt feel any empathy and put the blame on my child; honey, they are two. that is what they do. they bite. your daughter may have antagonized the other child. i dont know, i havent watched the tape yet. despite sweeping it under the rug and brushing my worries off, after this conversation the biting thankfully stopped.fast forward to march 2020, my daughter is now 8 months into attending the facility and still crying every morning as we would pull up. mommy i dont want to go to school, marisela hit me. marisela is her new teacher due to her age (2.5). theres no way around it, this teacher has absolutely ZERO patience. rough with the toddlers, clapping in their faces, slapping the table, pulling their arms, CONSTANTLY on her phone. this is complaint number two - i called another meeting with Trudy directly. with having access to the cameras, i took it upon myself to record the unprofessional behavior i witnessed within a 22 minute span. the footage consisted of Marisela on her phone for an extended period of time, neglecting the children as several of them tried to speak to her. at that time, Trudy didnt have an answer for me so she clarified she would speak with the teacher and get back to me. the end result: my child was the problem. Toma would make it a point to go into great detail of how bad my child was. disruptive, not potty trained, disrespectful, bad, only child problems - these were all things shed say to me on a daily basis around 5 PM. okay PAUSE. listen if youre reading this... shes 2.5. im not an oblivious parent. she has temper tantrums, she has accidents, she will challenge the limits, she can be sassy.... shes a toddler. thats what two year olds do. my child needs to follow the rules and have structure just like every other child at daycare, but constant negativity and bringing one bad day into the next without ever giving her a fresh start; TOXIC. i expect as a caretaker, a teacher, and daycare employee, you should know how to control, de-escalate, and redirect the situation. daycare is not TEACHER VS. CHILD.the last straw came in september 2020. i felt the urge to log into the cameras and see what was going on in the toddler room around 11 AM. low and behold, my child was taken out of the classroom for 47 minutes into the front office (where there isnt camera access available) for being disruptive. she was then taken outside alone by Toma, into the sun, while Toma sat in the shade and yelled at her. after being brought back in, Marisela becomes frustrated during nap time and pulls her by the arms, then by the legs, the forces her head to the mat. to add the icing on the cake, Toma didnt know i could hear her yelling through the door the nightmare child is here at drop off.

I absolutely love the Growing Tree. My son has been going here for 11 months. We started him when he was just four months old, when I had to go back to work. We chose the Growing Tree after looking at many other day cares in the area because when we toured, the teachers in the rooms seemed to love their jobs. You can really tell that they care for the kids. The teachers are very sweet and I love seeing how much he loves them. You are greeted every time you walk in the door and I love their open door policy. I also really appreciate that they have the cameras in each room. Every time I see my son on camera, the teachers are on the floor playing and interacting with the kids. You can really tell the staff at The Growing Tree loves and cares for the children.

My son was here from when he was 3 months old until he was 2 years old. This place is wonderful. The family that runs this place are very nice and sweet. Their staff gives love and care to the kids along with the teaching them. In 2 years, I didnt notice much turnover on the staff which is a sign that the owners treat their employees well and the staff likes working for them. We moved and reluctantly had to find a new daycare but the first 2 years my son was here were invaluable to his development. Id recommend this place to any parent in the area.

The loving staff at TGTA have been such a blessing in our lives throughout the last year. They’ve treated us like family and have gone above and beyond for our Son. I cannot say enough how wonderful his teachers have been. We’re leaving due to a move, but would otherwise never consider it & will miss them so much. I highly recommend TGTA!

Amazing childcare! My daughter has blossomed both socially and academically here. Pick-up and drop-off is organized, safe and quick. They have great music and athletic activities, guest speakers, petting zoos, summer programming and teachers that are attentive and really care for the children... it will be sad when we have to leave for kindergarten!

My daughter was in the Growing Tree Academy. Ms Trudy was awesome and the personal care that children get is every mothers dream. The smiling faces to greet you in the mornings is a perfect start to the day. I am thankful for all the love and care in addition to what she learnt at the Growing Tree Academy.

My husband & I were both very happy with the level of care our daughter received here. She began at 3 months old. I dealt mostly with Ms. Romi, Ms. Margarita & Ms. Laura; all of whom seemed to genuinely care about my daughter and all the babies they looked after. I really like how we got a detailed sheet every day listing when she ate, how much, along with her nap & diaper changes. There is also a web cam, while it may not be HD quality, it did help to ease the anxiety of being first time parents by being able to always see how many workers were in the room and that they were actively involved. Its not the cheapest in the area, but also not the most expensive, so its a good middle ground on cost. There are some registration & supply fees annually, i think this is the norm though. The hours are also good for working parents, 6:30pm - 6:30pm, allowed for flexibility with our schedules. I would really recommend this place. Thank you Growing Tree for taking care of our girl!!

We love this place. Today is my babies last day there and I am very sad to leave. I had him in this daycare since he was 12 weeks old (now 15 months) but we recently moved and have found a daycare closer to our house. The owners and the teachers are both very nice and so sweet to all the babies. My son loved it here and could care less everyday when I left. Most of the ladies in the infant rooms have been there for several years. I think Romi (head of infant 1 room) has been there since it opened. One of the owners daughters also works in the infant 1 room and has worked there since it opened as well. Roxanna is head of infant 2 room and she is amazing. She is so patient and loving with the babies. She takes videos of your baby if they are reaching a new milestone and will text it to you (they learn a lot in this room, how to crawl, walk, eat). My son reached his arms out for her every morning when I dropped him off. My son left before he transitioned to the infant 3 room but I know with out a doubt he would have been just as happy. They also have a chef here so all the food is homemade. They also have security cameras so you can see your baby during the day.Portia and Trudy (owner) operate the front desk and they are very flexible with everything. They will call you if your baby is out of food and make sure it is ok to give them what they have there. If you want your baby in a loving, nurturing environment, please send them here!

Awesome place! After my mother in law took care of my daughter until she was 1, I had a very hard time finding a daycare in the area, until I came accross The Growing Tree Academy. My daughter had a hard time getting used to it, but one of the teachers (Mrs. Olivia) made it so much easier. My daughter has since transitioned into a new class but still gives Mrs. Olivia a hug when she passes by her classroom. All of the teachers know each child in the school by first name. Small and intimate daycare with many teachers in each class. They definitely teach alot but also allow for free time (which I pesonally think is necessary at this age).

A very loving, family-oriented learning environment for even the smallest of kiddos! Amazing staff, great structure, and my daughter never wants to leave when I pick her up because shes having so much fun and loves the friends she has made!I went back to work full-time for the first time in 4 years this past summer, and was frantically searching for a safe, affordable, well-rounded daycare for my 18-month-old that was not too far from work. I went through Google and filtered by the best ratings, and from there I went to the DPS website to check my short list against their credentials, audits, and citations. TGTA was above and beyond the best of the best! When we toured our short-listed daycare options, nothing could compare to the nicely structured, loving environment we found at TGTA. Compared to the other centers we toured, at TGTA only one or two babies were crying, but they were being loved on and cared for so it didnt last long. The kids were all smiling, and when we got ready to leave, our daughter didnt want to go home! She gave the director a big hug (she never hugs strangers) and a huge smile. TGTA also gave us parent references we could call with any questions! WOW! We didnt need them at all, though, because our daughter was so happy there! They even let her come play for a few hours the Friday before she started while Mommy had some time to herself. She got acclimated fast! While it was more expensive for us, we would choose TGTA again and again! My husband is leaving his job to stay home with our daughter, but if we ever needed childcare again we will definitely call TGTA first. At TGTA, they work with you. When I first started my job in the middle of a pay period and couldnt pay the second months tuition right away, they worked with me to pay as soon as I was able. Bi-weekly meal calendars/menus are available in the office every week as well. When my daughter wanted what the other kids had for breakfast instead of what Id packed for her, they worked with us to pay by the day for breakfast, instead of a whole month -- they suggested I pack something similar to what they served, and if she didnt want it, Id just add to the following months tuition the amount for what she ate at school. It worked like a charm!! These ladies know kids. They have been in the childcare business for many years and they know what they are doing! Weve been to other daycares part-time in the past, but nothing compares to TGTA.The school is kept clean, and teachers are aware of every allergy, illness, and boo-boo. There is great communication with parents by both the office staff and the teachers. When my daughter started at TGTA at 18 months, she wasnt talking much yet, but used over 45 ASL signs. I made copies of the signs she used out of my Gallaudet sign language dictionary, and the teachers made copies and took it upon themselves IN THEIR FREE TIME AT HOME to learn the signs so they could communicate with my child. They even taught the other kids! That really blew us away. TGTA also has closed-circuit cameras in each room and on the playground, which gives parents (especially first-timers) wonderful peace of mind, being able to see their kids being well taken care of. My mom lives across the country and loves watching her grandbaby be cared for so tenderly at school!Long story short, if you need childcare, look into TGTA. I wouldnt go anywhere else, and I drive over half an hour every day to get there. Its worth it!!!

My Son is currently attending. My wife and I removed him from another day care that was wonderfull as well but kept hopping around. We decided to pay the extra $200/month for a more professional service and man was it worth it. Within a few days he was talking more, he seemed more playfull and more tired at the end of the day. I love that he learns some spanish from the staff and is constantly learning new things. Thank you SO MUCH TGT!
