This is a training facility that I have toured and actually loved for its atmosphere and the faculty was extremely persuasive and motivating in all factors during the training. Examples were shown and during the training you as an individual were able to try some of them examples with other individuals in the group. After a primary training session we were able to do sparring to train on what was learned and apply it to skill. I definitely give this five stars nothing less and if I could give it six I will give it six. If you are interested in learning any type of boxing techniques and fighting techniques this is a place for you.

The staff are so understandable to accrual the months for me since March 2020 without any pushing me back to resume class.When the time I feel safe to let my son resume the class, the staff is so nice & initiative to stop billing on our account (without even my need to write a so-called written notice to stop the billing), and let me use back all the accrued months before continue payment again.i shall say, other than the Coaches there are professional; their excellent service is an important reason for me to continue learning at there!!! The best of Houston. Very nice people and the professors are great. Everybody is open to share with you their knowledge. The place is super clean. They are the best. Prices are around $200 and that Includes Brazilian Jujitsu, kickboxing etc. They also have a class for kids. They do test every ~6 months and they charge extra 45 dollars (for the case of adults).

Elite MMA has an amazing coaching staff. They are detail orientated professionals who truly care for their students and community. If anyone is interested in learning a martial art I couldnt recommend Elite MMA anymore.

My 6 yr old son has been doing jiu jitsu with Elite MMA for over half of his life. He loves the coaches and loves going to train.For me and my husband, the most important things are what he learns beyond the physical. The discipline, respect, maturity, confidence, self-control, and perseverance are what matters to us. He has carried all the things he has learned over to what he does outside of BJJ: school, sports, and friendship.Having BJJ before he started organized sports was the best thing we could have done. I stopped by just to check inside for the first time here with no plans this morning. Dawe welcomed me spent time, had me commit for 12 months and gave me full bag of equipment. I was nervous to start training but with help from everyone there I never felt out of place. Been with the school for two years, went from having poor posture and dragging my feet to actually getting fit. The coaches here have a way of drawing out your untapped potential and the rewards are not just physical, your confidence & moral gets a boost as well. Family friendly environment, highly recommend.

BEWARE parents, you will be forced to sign a FULL 12 month contract and there is a ZERO tolerance for summer months. There is NOT a freeze option for even a week. They will force you to pay the same whether your child can attend one day per week or all days of the week. They will NOT provide you with anything other than a one page to your contract without being upfront about obligations to belt tests every 60 days at an additional charge and good luck getting a break for summer. Their best option is you continuing to pay and making your child attend more and more. They do not care about the children they solely care about their pockets!

Initially I enrolled for their kick boxing classes, definitely a great work out, motivated you to come back for more, I’m really glad I joined Elite MMA. I’ve lost some weight and I feel I have gain more muscle as well. Cardio kick boxing is a great class that helped me get into better condition, good stamina, and I love it. After I started taking the BJJ classes and at the beginning it was difficult but now I feel more confident, plus they have great coaches that are always there to help you you. Everybody it’s friendly, every time I go there I always feel welcome and glad to be there. Highly recommend!

Joining Elite MMA has been an amazing experience for me. I recently moved to Houston and was looking for a way to get fit and immerse myself in a new community. I have only been with them for three months and already feel stronger, happier and so welcomed. Best gym we found! We looked around the city for a while before settling on Elite. My son and I have been training here for about 3 years now and we LOVE it. Wouldnt want to train anywhere else. The instructors are top notch and the entire staff is fantastic. No egos here, just great people wanting to help each other reach the next level of their fitness goals. There are classes for everyone and the schedule and amount of classes is the best in the city! They can fit any schedule. Instructors are fantastic with the kids! My daughter (15) has been training with Elite MME since a year now. I can highly recommend Elite-MMA to anyone. When the Covid-19 situation came up, the Elite coaches switched to online classes within a week. First I had my doubts what to expect but as of the first online training session I was surprised how it was organized and very happy to see my daughter joining the online sessions with great enthusiasm. Since a week my daughter is back at the location of Elite MMA where they took all possible precautions. This is the best Martial Arts school in Houston, no doubt about that. EliteMMA has been my home for many years. When I joined Elite back in 2013 I had no idea the amount of personal commitment I would be getting from the coaches here. They really work to help you achieve your personal goals and create a balanced life both mentally and physically. My 11 year old son has been training at Elite MMA since he was 5 years old and I cannot recommend it highly enough. He has grown so much in his time there. In addition to the physical skills that he has gained, he has also become more confident, disciplined and respectful. Every day the teacher will complain about something and we knew he needed to have a sport that will help him focus so we thought of Jiujitsu. Everything Elite has done, was above my expectations! From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, and saw the safe distancing marks on the ground, leading up to the door and having temp check before entering the door and then being sprayed on hands, shoes and feet with a safe solution to kill germs and bacteria just as you enter, is totally spot on! Then to be led by a staff member to safe distancing floor markings that are 10 feet apart up to the mat, and again, being led to the designated mat space to train by another staff member was extremely going above and beyond! Oh and after my son trained, to be sprayed down from head to toes with the the anti-bacteria solution again... WOW!Elite MMA has put together top notch protocols for training and I confidently recommend this facility to anyone who wants to get in person total conditioning and training in an extremely safe environment!BRAVO to ELITE MMA!!!

I truly appreciate the array of classes Elite offers, and their scheduled times. At this location, Ive taken the self defense class, fight fit, Kardio Kickboxing and most recently adult boxing. Elites teaching objectives are well planned, and one thing that I will always rant about is the sense of belonging and family that is fostered there. Everybody helps each other grow, from the coaches, to your own classmates; inspiring me to encourage and help others. Were all in the same boat together, regardless of ones finals destination be weight loss, gaining strength, agility, skills, or fighting in the cage; we know itll be challenging, but were there to face it together.

I was in town looking for a place to train. Man were they welcoming here. I have a kickboxing and MMA background so I was looking for somewhere I could get efficient training. The structure of the class was great, it was high intensity drilling combined with full body conditioning. Just what I needed for an hour of training. Ive been at elite for about 3 or so years now and have not regretted it. Its a very supportive community, with a diverse range of walks of life. It really is more than just a place to work out. After Hurricane Harvey, the instructors and students coordinated volunteers to help others affected by the storm. Theres a variety of classes for different levels of experience, everyday of week.

I have been with Elite for several months now and I cannot say enough good things about this facility, their program and the crew that runs it. Elite is more than just a mixed martial arts or self-defense school, it is a community that focuses on camaraderie, growth and support of attaining personal goals. All of their staff is top notch as both instructors and individuals. The other members of Elite are great folks too who push and support each other in training.In terms of results, you will find it here. I have limited time these days outside work and family. My time training at Elite is optimized – quick, flexible and intense. I have seen big results in a short period of time, both physically and my technique. I come from a martial arts background which is be tough or leave, having a bit of military history went to enforce the train until you get hurt, then train some more mentality.... well, Im happy to say you will not find that here. They push you but not to the point of breaking you, they take your personal history into account for your training and in my case thats a very good thing.Elite is a good place to train whether youre starting up or are experienced.Give it a go you might like it, i know i do.

I joined in March 2016 and love this gym. They offer a huge variety of classes - there is something for everyone. The staff are friendly and engaged. Dave and the guys over at Elite MMA are top notch. The place brings a feeling of respect to the whole block. They cater to your level and push you to be your best. I suggest taking private lessons and following up in a weekly group class a couple of times a week. Started training in March. In just 3 months, I am now more fit than I have ever been in my entire life. Both staff and members are very courteous and helpful. Ive been in Elite for about 5 months now. Has been a great place to learn mixed martial arts. The first thing the coaches tell the new comers is about respect and discipline inside of Elite gym. The coaches actually take the time to teach the technique correctly and to also practice it with your fellow teammates. I had a great time training at Elite Mixed Martial Arts. I believe this is the best school in the Houston area. The instructors are great, and have a ton of knowledge and experience. Elite MMA is great place to train for martial arts. It’s going on fours that I have been training at Elite. The facilities and instructors are fantastic. They have everything you can offer in a gym: family atmosphere especially for kids and teens, excellent training for the novice to professional fighter. Even if you just want to get into shape Elite has the training and expertise for that as well. One thing that you will notice right away at Elite is the camaraderie and family atmosphere.

To join you must sign a 12 month contract. Even when I sustained a shoulder injury WHILE training at the gym, they would not let me out of the contract. So I was forced to pay out the remainder of my membership out of pocket even though I couldnt train. Could I receive a refund ? No. Could I take a leave of absence? No. Could I place the membership on hold ? No. The contract and policies of this gym are extremely restrictive. Most gyms are going month to month now. See what your other options are before joining.

I have been training with John at Elite MMA for a few months now. I feel stronger and have a lot more energy! John is knowledgeable, encouraging, outgoing, accessible and patient (I require a lot of patience!). He keeps it fun by mixing up our sessions with challenging yet achievable exercise programs. Working out in a comfortable atmosphere is very important to me, and this gym provides that and so much more. If you are ready to change your life for the better, I strongly recommend John as a trainer. He will drive you to try harder and reach goals you didn’t think were possible!

From the first moment I set foot at this gym I felt at home. The staff is very warm and welcoming to beginners and professional athletes alike. I spent years in regular gyms pumping iron and not making any progress. Within the first month, I made more progress Elite than I did in 6-8 months at a regular gym. The instructors are excellent and very knowledgeable. The facility is always clean. Even though I dont live in Houston any more, I drive nearly 3 hours to and from to train there because theres no place that compares.

For the longest time, I had been wanting to find a place to start being more active and get back into shape. I had looked at a few different places, but as soon as I went into Elite, I knew I had found the right place. Staff and coaches are excellent and was able to get back on the right path to a healthy lifestyle. This past weekend, I won my first gold medal in a grappling tournament and I am looking forward to entering more and advancing up the ranks. I started training here with my wife about three weeks ago dong the cardio kickboxing courses. Even with no previous experience, these classes have been awesome. Theyre great for conditioning, and its the best thing after driving in Houston traffic for 45 minutes. Highly recommend it.

I started at Elite in June. I wasnt much into working out or much physical activity other than hiking on the weekends. If someone had told me Id be working out 4 times a week I would have told them they were crazy. I would probably be there more but my work schedule doesnt allow it.Everyone there is friendly and encouraging. They want to help everyone succeed and meet their workout/fitness goals. They keep the workouts challenging and fun. If you miss classes someone is on the phone to check in on you. The instructors are very helpful and point out ways to improve the techniques youre working on. They always ask for input on what you would like to learn, clarification or general questions.

If you are considering joining the team at Elite MMA, I would encourage you to not hesitate. I am a long time member and have 20+ years of experience in a variety of martial arts. I can tell you with certainty, that you would be lucky to find another place with a deeper knowledge base. The family / team atmosphere is infectious and it seem everyone is invested in helping their training partners become better, regardless of skill level.

The only thing I dont like about this place besides that it smells and they dont clean the mats between each class session is that you get stuck in a 1 YEAR CONTRACT THAT YOU CANT GET OUT OF. Such a loss of money! The need more class times as well. They should have 6 month contracts or 3 month ones.The owner/s and instructors are great besides that.

I went in for a free class last night and got the best workout Ive had since college rugby. Everyone was extremely welcoming, unfailingly polite, and genuinely interested in helping me learn. The instructors, Eric and the other guy (whose name I was too gassed to remember...sorry), were very patient and created a safe, fun learning environment. All my rolling partners (they rolled, I wheezed...so out of shape) were friendly and willing to teach me. I really cant say enough good things about my experience. Im fat. Im out of shape. And, Im hooked! Thanks again, Eric!

I train mainly at the Greenway location and occasionally at the Westheimer location and have loved this gym. I joined in September 2013 and have been impressed with the professionalism and dedication the coaches show to their students. I have trained martial arts before at other gyms and was disappointed when good coaches ended up being bad businessmen. I have not had any issues with billing or schedule, as the offer a variety of times. You feel free to ask your coaches about any situation and they are good about not overwhelming you with too much too quickly. I would recommend this gym to martial artists of any level.

The moment I stepped into the gym, I knew this was a perfect place to work out. I was impressed with spacious gym, clean training mats and multiple class schedules, locations I could choose from. They welcomed and introduced me to other staffs, members and from then on, it felt like I’ve known this community before, and even if you go visit other branches, they’ll treat you as a family!I joined Elite MMA for self - defense reasons, but I found myself enjoying Kickboxing as well. It’s a great cardiac work out and surely felt accomplished after the class! I love going to Jujitsu, the foundation offers great self-defense moves and all are professional, cautious and respectful during the drills.If you are looking for a challenge, sports, stress reliever, self – defense, I highly recommend this place. I joined elite ~ one month ago - I didnt really understood why, although I had an idea. But the ratings on google did help, and as rare as it is, this time the reviews didnt deceive. Starting from the first contact with Dave Campbell, setting up my first appointment - very attentive and listens to you - to the first contact with the coach - which puts you at ease and you dont feel the pressure of having to look good from the offset...(Josh, Mitch... ) I do KKB (Cardio Kick Boxing) Self defense. KKB is one of the best work outs ever - and likely if you just need to release some energy/stress - then definitely recommended, Self-Defense is fun and informative... personnel, coaches, the matts - family friendly environment... Really good. I recommend....In 2020 pandemic... What these guys do help us by giving us online classes, quick adjustment and effective too... Lots of reinforcements. This team is one of kind.

Best decision I ever made was to join Elite MMA. The instructors are top notch and my team mates were so easy and fun to train with. The coaches all have long history and backgrounds in Jiu Jitsu, etc so the teaching is quality. The higher belts are very patient and really help you learn if youre newer. They know what theyre teaching, and are the best at it. In a couple of years I really hope to still train at Elite. I see new faces every day. And thats good to have a variety of people to train with. Its always fun, its always competitive, and never boring. Theres always new things to learn every single day. And to have such awesome people pushing you to do your best means a lot to me. ELITE FAMILY!!!

Ive been training there for about 5 months and I cant imagine what Id feel like if I hadnt joined. The people there are extremely humble and its somewhere that just feels like a second home. All of that includes learning how to be a great fighter, giving you confidence whether youre in the cage or out on the streets. I dont plan on leaving anytime soon. Id recommend Elite over anywhere else.

I have been going to Elite MMA for a couple months and I have to say the staff is amazing. The manager and most of the instructors knew my name with in the first 2 weeks. Every staff member I have interacted with has shown great interest in my progress and know just how to push me just beyond my current limits. I have never felt over pushed but they have constantly giving me enough motivation for a little more than I think I am capable.All the staff is very approachable and very willing to help in anyway they can.

Excellent school. Great instructors. There are a lot of students who attend Elite which gives you a great chance to practice and learn with a large variety of people who bring many different skills to the table. In all of this you do get a lot of personal instruction from the coaches. At elite they will really work with you to develop and tailor your game to what best suits you. You couldnt ask for a better group of individuals!

Elite MMA is really amazing! Everyone here is very friendly and helpful! I brought my cousin here to help with discipline and character. It was the best decision I made. They truly care and interact with each individual that is a member here! Absolutely love it!

Best place to work out!! Ive tried working out at other places and gyms but I feel that this is where I belong. I look forward to and enjoy my workouts here, especially after a difficult day at work. Trainers sincerely care and everyone is super friendly.

Elite MMA is a great place to workout. The beginning classes will exhaust you, and you can progress to higher levels if you choose. I highly recommend this place. The energy is good and the coaches were very helpful.

I am so grateful I found this place, the atmosphere is awesome! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. All the instructors are fantastic which makes it not only a great work out but a really fun class. Ive been doing cardio kickboxing for the last few months and I always finish tired, drenched in sweat and with a smile on my face. Once youve tried it, youre hooked.

My family (me, my wife, my two boys 6 and 10) train at Elite MMA. We decided to train first aiming to lose some weight and to learn how to protect ourselves. Mission accomplished!!! As a father of 4 kids I strive to get the best for my kids and preparing them for life is my top priority. Id like to thank Elite MMA instructors and staff for helping me getting my boys more confident, disciplinated and respectful. Everyone at elite is very welcoming and the coaches are the best. Doing kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu made my family stronger to face a very difficult time we had in life. Our family have been a member at Elite MMA for over 2 years. We have 4 Kids ages from 5-12. Elite MMA gym is amazing!!!! The coaches care for the kids so much. They not only teach Brazilian jujitsu and kickboxing technique but also impart life lessons on self discipline, resilience, self confidence, and leadership. The gym community is uniquely kind and supportive. The coaches are patient and make learning a fun and incredible experience. My kids have really grown physically, mentally, and emotionally!

Being new to Houston (and the US) and having only recently started training martial arts last year, I was looking for a friendly place where I could continue to learn and develop my skills. Elite MMA ticks all the right boxes. Everyone has been very welcoming and encouraging. Ive had lots of fun in classes (of which there are plenty) and made many new friends.

Both the gym and the schedule is family friendly, and filled with professionals who understand that not all of us can go to work with black eyes and bruises. Perfect fit for all experience from pros, to amateurs, to people with no plans to compete. Youll find rooms full of smiles, a close knit group with no zero intimidation factor.

Of all the gyms i have ever joined this is hands down my favorite. Everyone is so supportive and respectful of your goals and your abilities. I joined Elite about a month ago and love it. The BJJ training is phenomenal and the Kickboxing classes are challenging (to say the least). Its also nice to know that you can get some exercise and be learning something that could come in handy in protecting yourself and your family. If youre interested, you shouldnt hesitate to come in and give it a try. Youll be glad you did. - Update, Ive been at Elite for 2 or 3 years now, who know - who cares, Im going to be here for as long as possible. Its a new kind of family and friends guys. Theyll beat you up, theyll push you to do things you dont think you can do and theyll be there to help you when you feel like you cant wrap your head around it. Its not for everyone, but if youve got a little grit in your belly - and you know who you are - you should stop by and have a chat.

Ive been training at EliteMMA for six months now, and coming from the Caribbean with a martial arts background Elite was right on the money. My game has improved drastically in the time that Ive been there, The knowledge level of the various disciplines was something that Ive never experienced before. My overall technique level has come a long way having the opportunity to train with world class instructors. In this time i was able to compete and do well in local tournaments building my confidence with each class. I could not imagine another Martial art school with the facilities and knowledge that Elite brings to the table.

I joined Elite MMA because I needed to lose weight and was looking for something different then a gym. I called to say that I wanted to get fit and lose weight and they told me to come on in. From the moment I walked in I was so comfortable with all the amazing instructors and loved how clean and nice the facilities are. Kardio Kickboxing is the hardest and most fun workout I have ever done!!!! I love this place so much- probably my favorite thing about Elite is that my coaches keep me accountable and check on me and make sure Im coming into class. The mix of students is fantastic, from beginner students like me to black belt jujitsu, to professional fighters.  All ages, shapes, and sizes are welcome here. I’m obsessed with kickboxing now!!! This is my happy place.

This place is amazing. The facility is well cared for since going barefoot is required. Every time I come in, Im greeted with smiles. I get a fantastic workout, Im motivated to do more, its a great learning environment where I learn something new or want to learn more every time. Elite MMA has cultured a strong family atmosphere, allowing clients from all walks of life to be able to come in and feel welcomed. Making a commitment to live a healthy and fit lifestyle and having Elite be the structure to support me on the journey is one of the best choices I made this year. I really enjoy the intense kickboxing classes. This is a REAL KICKBOXING CLASS - theres actual bags and sweat is flying from across the room. The experienced instructors (especially Master Hai) motivate your workout plan and everyone knows your name when you walk through the door. Great place for all Houstonians to become more fit while having fun!

Elite MMA provides superior instruction in many martial arts. It is able to accomplish this by retaining great instructors, providing outstanding facilities, and creating an environment in which competition and camaraderie can coexist. The huge student body has an incredibly diverse demographic and many friendships are established that extend beyond the training hours. If you are looking to try something new, improve your game, or just want a great workout, come talk to the folks at Elite. You won’t be disappointed.

The instructors are great however, be extremely aware of the contract that you are signing for one year that they will let not let you out of for any reason. Even if you become unemployed and can no longer pay or if you move the contract specifically stipulates that this does not release you from paying the contract in full. You are literally signing a contract for one year with no way out after 30 days for any reason.

Awesome place, awesome instructors, awesome students. Everyone is nice and helpful and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend it!
