Nimitz was a pretty great school. I graduated in 2011, but I think they should get more active with the students. Every year I had teachers that I enjoyed. My counselor was the best, she helped me through it all.

I love Nimitz high school why only because I have learned so much from that school but now it is time for me to move on. And I hope to see everyone sometime again special my coach and the basketball girls. LETS GO!!!

If I could give this piece of trash school 0 stars I would .. Let me begin by saying screw their APs who are good for nothing grown ups who cant do their job right.. And their police officers ESPECIALLY Mr Reese AKA the biggest waste of space this earth has ever created..This school is full of the most unprofessional childish staff in the district of aldine.. Tried going to the disrtrict about it myself no sir, they will not listen to you whine about the staff theyll send you back is all I got.. Worst school in the country ..Not only is the staff bad.. Nooooooooo let me also mention their police officers.. They will literally put cuffs on you for no reason. Yell at you and treat you as an inmate from prison .. Best believe if you ever complain about it theyll get even more mad an retaliate..Wanna hear a good story?!?!? Officer Punk wearing a badge REESE had a student shaking in a chair after violating his first amandment, not only did he make false accusations towards the student.. But also threatened him with arrest because the student wanted to go to his class.. That guy has no business being a cop but I wont spend much of my time complaining about him..And also .. Before I forget .. The reason many teachers are leaving the district #NotReallyBeingFired.. Is because theyre making room for millitary sargents who couldnt make the army and Tyrants who couldnt make presidency.. Best believe your student will be imprisoned without you even knowing..Long story short.. Unless you want your students happiness, creativity, and personality to be shut down by the garbage that is nimitz highschool and the aldine district..TAKETHEMTOSPRING..Dekaney highschool is a great school .. Nothing compared to aldine. Totally different distrcit a great learning environmentt, nice teachers .. And best of all they focus more on the knowledge of your student/ future graduate.. Than on the way they dress and their race..I rather be a dekaney wildcat than a nimitz cougar any day of the week.Say no to nimitz..Dekaney is just a couple blocks away!!!

They care more about the dress code than the education! Also the AP Mr.Ratton is rude and a pain In the Butt ! The Health program and Everything else Is Awesome Though!

When I would go over there for something or after school or from what Ive heardIt seems WAY worse than nimitz nineFights EVERYDAYA lot of food fights over crazy stuffRiots in the cafeteriaA bunch of ghetto and disrespectful kidsFor our location the school is out of the normal for what you would probably thinkI was bullied by the upper classman for my voice sounding weirdOne time at the end of year when I can to pay a library find they where having a massive food fight I saw everybody running out of the cafeteria for coverAnd on the bus ramp we had major brawls EVERY weekWith it mostly being freshman and AT times the freshman would start trouble at big nimitzI heard when school started it was three fights everydayI heard if you tell on someone you get jumped and either you are a crip or bloodTowards the end of the year some immature kids decided to start a water balloon riot But the gross thing was that these balloons had vinager,bleach,chlorine and urine: how gross can you get 😷 and not only did this happen once but it happened Many times on the bus rampOnly in the cafeteria: where you have innocent people just trying to enjoy lunch but this happensThen it happened again after lunch in the hallways.Im glad i transferred to aldine seniorBut I give a star because1: I have friends who are going there and I have respect for them and hope they will be ok over there the rest of high school2: I was involved their award winning JROTC3:The robotics team was almost top in the world4:Anime club was funSo for the people going there just stay away from the ghetto and chaos and Im pretty sure you will be fine

Heard Mr. R. Ford Psychology teacher likes to mock and make fun of students, this kid I heard it from was in tears not wanting to go back to class, teacher calling them dumb! Not very professional!!

I swear to god that their mixed choir is so childish to try to steal one of our bags and drink the water bottle in it. Keep your hands off other people’s stuff morons.

Its a highschool. New principal tries to turn stuff around, very strict rules and very little room for expression

I dont know if counselors there were frustrated or just plain hating their job. I hope everything goes well. AP felt too overpowered and was very sarcastic at points and also rude.

Spent 4 years here with my son while he was an active student. He was in the band and he graduated in 2014.

That POS student that shoved the teacher to the floor, needs his F%%K%%G A%S kicked severely. And often.

Unless you are okay with risking your child to becoming a victim of bullying or harassment, do NOT let your child attend this school and please find a different one!
