Really great dance studio! Gloria is a fantastic teacher! She explains and demonstrates all the moves that we learn in a very clear and concise way. Everyone in the group class is very nice and it is quite possible that you will make a few friends coming to the group classes. The price is very good as well. I would definitely recommend coming here to learn how to dance salsa!

My girlfriend and I recently enrolled in the Beginners Ball Room Class at Dance Passion and had an absolute blast! Craig, the instructor, made the class fun and comfortable, I highly recommend him. We will definitely be back for more advanced classes.-Brian & Whitney

Really enjoyed the 2-step classes on Friday nights! My husband and I got to spend a relatively inexpensive evening together learning a new skill while having a ton of fun. We loved the 2-step instructor Milly and look forward to trying other classes in ballroom.

My initial motivations for taking a class was in part boredom and a coupon. it is a testament to Milly as a teacher that I am now in my 5 month of taking Salsa lessons and still going strong. Milly is a professional and fantastic teacher that has made a curriculum of dance routines which are fun and excitingly challenges you. You do not need a partner to begin, and Milly demonstrates and explains each lesson in a clear and concise manner. Her classes are fun, and she has retained from my incoming class (and others) a diverse group of students that are friendly and very supportive. I am excited to see what comes next and thank Milly for her time, patience and encouragement. Milly has my full recommendation, and I hope to see you there.

My fiance and I took dance classes with Demetra for our wedding dance. Words cannot describe how amazing the experience was, as we definitely needed help! Demetra was so kind and patient with both of us and worked with our busy schedules to accommodate not just just, but also additional lessons for the Mother/Son and Father/Daughter dance. Demetra from Glorias dance studio prepared my spouse and I for our first dance. Demetra was an incredible instructor for us. We selected a five-pack of lessons (less than one month from the big day). We made quite drastic improvements each lesson. However midway through our 5 lessons, we still felt we still had a long way to go. Then Demetra kicked us into gear. The effort and passion she brought to our routine far exceeded our expectation. We would highly recommend Demetra as a dance instructor. Overall she is very nice, a great communicator, hard-working and we enjoyed working with her. Superb!

My husband and I have been taking two step lessons from Milly since November 2018. We thoroughly enjoy the class. Milly is a knowledgeable instructor and she has a great personality suited for teaching dance.

Gloria’s salsa lessons are great. Great team of instructors. You don’t need to bring a partner, which is perfect if you want to try something new, and make some friends along the way.I went for 8 months lessons, learning a good foundation to intermediate salsa, with a wide variety of moves. The lessons being run twice a week, make it easier to make the full moths lesson, which was wonderful. I hope one day they start having 2 opportunities a week for the advanced, so that I can return. Yes I would love to return.

Glorias lessons are excellent. They are well organized and she manages the class very well. There are almost always multiple instructors to maximize attention given to students.

Highly recommended. We love going to our salsa class with Gloria every week! It makes a nice date night for my husband and me. I love that we can do something together that is also physically active and teaches us a new skill. We both have no dancing talent but Gloria breaks things down into manageable steps, then repeats them until we get it, which builds our confidence. We started in the beginner class then did pre-intermediate. Now we are in the intermediate class and learn a new routine each month. I wish we had time to practice outside of class, but with the way Gloria teaches I still feel like my husband and I continue to build on our skills from the week before.

Very first time to learn Salsa dance. Love it!!! Small class and easy to follow. Lots examples of DO and DONt. Gloria and her assistants keep eyes on students all the time. Some come as a couple and also there is lots individuals come without partner including myself. Great atmosphere that people are only there to enjoy and focus on learning steps and no awkwardness to make mistakes.

I was convinced that I have two left feet. I *knew* that I couldnt dance. To top that, I didnt even have a dance partner to take classes with. I didnt know what to expect. I was so nervous taking that first dance class with Gloria, but you know what? Sometimes you have to take that first step outside your comfort zone if you want to grow. So I took that step, it wasnt an attractive first step, but the first step leads to another and before I knew it, I was dancing! I fell in love with dance. Which was a surprise to me for sure! Ive been taking classes here for two years now. Ive taken salsa, two-step, & ballroom. Ive lost weight, developed a finer sense of balance, met some great friends, and have proven to myself that I can learn things I never thought possible. All I can say is if youre looking at this review, youre interested so try a class.

Guys, if you wife has been bugging you to dance, give her lessons as a Christmas present. Thats what I did and we have never missed a class since.

Ive been taking Salsa classes here since February and love it! Every week we learn something new and every month we put it together into a routine. Dace Passion has small classes so the dance teacher also takes the time to observe and gives you advice on how you can, for example, turn better. Its fun and its challenging!

I took lessons with Gloria for a year and a half. The only reason I stopped was because I moved out of Houston to another state. I took Ballroom and Salsa lessons. After I advanced to the Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate classes I stayed to help with the beginner classes. This really helped to enforce the basics and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve. It is really nice to have some experienced people in the beginner classes that can help. There are Salsa Socials. They are a lot of fun and I would highly recommend going.

My fiance and I have been taking lessons from Gloria for five years. We did not have a background in ballroom when we started. We have progressed through the three levels of ballroom: beginner, pre-intermediate and intermediate. Intermediate is our favorite class because we learn different combinations and steps every new session. Gloria explains and demonstrates the moves clearly for everyone to see and hear. If you still need additional help, she will come by individually to assistance. The class is fun, a way to meet new people, affordable and a guarantee date night for us.

This is the place to go no matter you are just a beginner or interested to improve your skills. The Salsa class has a lot of fun. It is a friendly and welcoming place with teachers who have pasion to teach. You will learn and make new friends. Gloria knows how to teach, she is very patient and professional. you will learn step by step. SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER. You dont have to bring your own partner just in case you dont have one, you will switch the partner in the class . Milly is another teacher who is great. We started off with a Groupon for the beginner ballroom classes because we wanted to learn some basics before our wedding. We enjoyed it SO MUCH that we actually did another 2 months of group classes and then 3 private lessons with Demetra for our first dance.The group lessons were a lot of fun and non-threatening. Gloria made it very easy to learn and shell show you all sorts of styles of ballroom dancing (waltz, foxtrot, tango, cha cha, rumba, and jitterbug). We hope to come back for more ballroom group classes- thats how much fun it is! For our private lessons, we had Demetra and she was such a sweetheart! She was very patient with us and she helped us nail our choreography. We had so many compliments on our first dance and how great we looked!

I wanted to learn country two-step and I have discovered this studio thanks to a Groupon offer. Our teacher Karen was really nice and professional, she gave us really good advice and we even got videos and a country/polka playlist to review the moves we have learned. After a month I feel more confident and I can follow my partner without walk on his feet!

This is SO much fun! (Im taking the beginning Salsa class)I signed up to attend the class alone, which seems intimidating, but once you get there you will find most of the class came in alone. And we are all in this together. Everyone has strenghts and weaknesses in this.Gloria has been my teacher, and she has incredible patience. I went there to take a belly dance class, and while I am waiting in the lobby I started talking to two ladies that were waiting for the class too. Well it was 7:00 p.m and the class didnt start, so this other lady started saying that we couldnt take the class because it was only 3 of us and that we needed 5 people to take the class. It took me 1 1/2 hours with traffic to get there and couldnt take the class. To me that is not fair, I will never go back.

My husband and I took slow dance classes here before our wedding. We would HIGHLY recommend it! I had no idea just how great this class was going to be. I thought at best, maybe Id learn not to step on my husbands toes during our first dance. WOW. I learned so much more. The class was a GREAT value, probably the best in Houston, and the class and moves we learned were so fun. Each class, we learned a couple moves and by the end of 4 weeks, we had an incredible first dance choreographed. The instructor, Karen was great! She would show the move first, so that we knew what we would learn. And then she would take us step-by-step. Her husband, Keith, was also great, as they danced together they each explained what the guy would do and what the girl would do. They also would explain WHY you moved this way and not that way, or WHY you put your hand here, not there, which also really helped. She would play everyone in the classs first dance song each class, so we could practice our moves with our song! And Karen and her husband, Keith would walk around while we were practicing to give us tips. The dance was put together through its entirety, from an entrance and beginning the steps, to a fabulous ending with a dip! One class, my husband wasnt able to make it, so I danced with Keith, instead of having to just sit out. Which I really appreciated. At our reception, we had EVERYONE, clapping and cheering the entire time through our first dance. We were so proud of it! If you are getting married, take this class! It is very reasonably priced, its fun, the instructors are very kind and incredibly talented, you learn so much, and you will have a first dance to remember- instead of having a boring first dance like most people who sway back and forth to the same song everyone does.
